Thoughts in my mind

When I was younger, politics was never a topic I had any interest in following. It was not clear to me when and if any politician was being sincere, truthful, or had the best interests of anyone besides themselves in mind. As I have gotten older and slightly less blind or ignorant to the way our political system operates, the only thing that appears crystal clear is the vast majority of our political leaders have forgotten what it means to be honest. It does not matter what the party is, they all have one general thing in common, and it is not the best quality, as it is complete and utter dishonesty.

Political rhetoric has been an overwhelming and toxic predicament in the United States for far too long. These issues should never have escalated to the extreme levels it has over the last several years. It seems unheard, of that, anyone can either agree or at least agree to disagree on many of the HOT topics flooding the country. None of the differences of opinion should create turmoil and animosity, especially among family and friends. Life is too short, and tomorrow is not guaranteed for anyone, so we should avoid disagreements that offer no resolutions and only endanger feelings.

We will always encounter people that have different opinions, and we should not feel like we cannot have a normal and civilized conversation with these people. Chances are, you are already aware of the opinions of your family, friends, and even though it may be forbidden to discuss at work, your co-workers as well. Understanding things like this in advance can help you avoid any topics where a potential debate is inevitable.

I think everyone must understand that there is nothing sinister about being friendly and accepting of those from an opposing political party. It is natural and normal to have beliefs, and even feel strongly about those beliefs. It will not be a surprise to anyone that has read my previous posts, I am not and never will be a supporter of Donald Trump. I do not agree with the way he behaves or his treatment of others, but that is who he is and who I am. I also do not care much for the current President. It is 2023 and we need to learn to be more accepting and not continue to behave the same as many did decades ago. With the years comes change and therefore, I believe we are in dire need of someone younger and more accepting of the changes.

To get away from politics, I have so many questions that I do not believe have answers. Why are people so scared of those that are different? Should people not be free to love, even if they love differently than others do? Why should a woman not be the ONLY one with rights to her body? Why should the government or state have control over a woman’s body? Why in the richest country in the world do we have so many that are homeless? Why in a country that believes they have rights over a woman’s reproductive system, are there so many children without a family, food, or everything else every child deserves? Why, in a country that says they have the best medical schools in the world, does mental health go unnoticed? Why is there limited help for those battling addiction and more opportunities to become addicted? Why in a country with supposedly the topic ranked scientists are cures for diseases not progressing?

I do understand that some people reading this post will not agree with me because of their beliefs, and I can accept that. I can respect others’ beliefs as long as they can respect mine. Even though I do understand, many disagree with abortion, I would like to understand why. If a woman is raped, why should she be forced to keep her rapist’s baby even though adoption can be an option, why should she be forced to carry the baby for 9 very long months? Why should anyone feel shamed for loving someone of the same sex? Who cares, love does not damage anyone else’s life. I have hoped for over 20 years for a cure for Multiple Sclerosis or cancers that have taken people I loved away from me.

I hope you have enjoyed your weekend. Yes, I already know how incredibly short it has been and it is slightly upsetting that the workweek will begin again tomorrow, but maybe the upcoming week will be promising. Next week is going to be a little longer because I have a follow-up appointment with my pain management doctor and I will be working longer days to make up the time I will miss, but I do hope it will be a good week.

Thank you for visiting my site today. Whether you agree or disagree with me, I would still enjoy reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as possible. Today is another rainy day where I live, which always makes my pain my higher. Unfortunately, where I live it rains a lot and I know I just need to deal with it the best way that I can. I hope your last day of the weekend is enjoyable and relaxing. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Let It Go Friday

Happy Friday, y’all! I hope you had a good week, and you are looking forward to the weekend! I have been ready for the weekend since Monday morning, which has made the week feel so much longer. One thing that I do enjoy is getting to know new co-workers that come onto our team and welcoming them with kindness. I think this is important because we are all nervous when we are starting a new job, and it can be a more difficult transition when people are not kind, understanding, and welcoming. Do you remember the last time you started a new job? Were people welcoming and kind, or were they standoffish?

The one thing I do not appreciate is when people for whatever reason try to stir drama up. I do not understand this kind of behavior because we are all adults and therefore should behave as such. It almost seems like people are getting bored in their own lives and need something to make their life more exciting. Even when I was younger, I did my best to avoid nonsense, and insane drama because it is obnoxious and exhausting. I prefer to live a boring life without the annoyance of insanity. Heck, if we crave drama this much, it is easy to get a taste of it by watching the news or just following politics for a minute. Anyone that needs drama, one minute of politics will more than fulfill the need!

Where I work, things are getting busier, which I do prefer as it makes the days go by faster. I enjoy my job and tend to learn something new daily. Of course, part of what my job entails is the same daily, but it is when I get challenging customers that I feel I excel. It is trying to explain in simple terms what the process is and where they are at in this process, I enjoy it. I have never encountered any of my co-workers in person, but I have been able to build a strong connection with a few of them, and some I am thankful to have not met in person😊! Would you prefer to stay busy all day long or would you prefer to have more time when you are doing nothing but watching the clock when you are at work?

The United States seems to be in a constant state of chaos and disagreement, which I do not understand. I feel that everyone should be treated equally and with respect. Of course, respect is earned, but we can try giving people the benefit of the doubt, can’t we? Why should anyone feel like they need to hide who they are because they are different than others? Who cares who someone loves as long as they are caring and kind? It should not matter the color of someone’s skin or anything else about them if they are not adding more hate to a world already filled with too much hate! I wish more people in the world could learn to be more accepting and compassionate towards others because we are all here in this world together and need to start behaving like it!

Now that we have finally made it through the week, I think we need to try to let go of any negativity the week may have created. The weekends are already too short, and we should be able to enjoy it as much as we can without any negative emotions. I hope the quote that I am sharing today will help you to let go and just enjoy the weekend! I found this quote to be true and helpful, but I hope you do as well. Life is too short to live in the past or to hold onto negative emotions. We are all initialed to be able to enjoy our weekend, don’t you agree?!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared, and that you have a wonderful and safe weekend! This week has been long or at least it was for me, but I hope your weekend will be filled with nothing but joy, and relaxation. We do not need to do anything over the weekend unless it is something we want to do. I do look forward to reading your comments, and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Pick-Me-Up Thursday

Happy Friday eve! How has your week been? This has been an extremely long and challenging week, but it is mostly because of too many people with some type of thought process they are super important when they are not any more important than anyone else. I find it to be mind-blowing that so many people feel they deserve different treatment than others. I hate to be the bearer of bad news for these people, but I am an equal opportunity hater, and the meaner people are, the less I want to help them. I know many people get caught up in what they want and think they need, but I believe we are all in the same boat and just trying to make it in this crazy world, so we just need to be more patient and understanding!

Somehow, we have almost made it through the week and the weekend will be here shortly, but do have one final day to get through. Of course, with this said, I believe we could all benefit from a little pick-me-up. I am hoping the quote that I am sharing with you offers this for you and you have a lovely day. Sadly, we are all going to encounter people that are so miserable in their lives, they want to tear everyone else down. They say that misery and loneliness love happiness, but it does not need to include you. The people that may insult and criticize others do not need us to hold their hand and make them feel better because this is a problem they need to work out. Of course, since we are all kind people we will try to be nice to them, but we can only do so much.

Do you have anything planned for the upcoming weekend? My only plans are to catch up on some much needed sleep and try to finish up the article that I have almost completed for the writing competition. I am glad I started this article early because it is due on May 5th and all that I have left to do is the final paragraph! Remember, you do not have to have plans for the weekend because it is supposed to be your time to do what makes you happy!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and your week has been good! I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Inspirational Wednesday

Happy Midweek, which means we are that much closer to the weekend! How was the first half of your week? All I can say is, I hope the last part of the week is a little better and less chaotic. I guess, even if it is as crazy, the weekend is getting closer. I think it is important to look on the bright side of things because it is all a state of mind. I do believe if we focus on all the negative in the world, we will only experience the negative, but if we try to focus on the good things, maybe we will experience more positive things! It cannot hurt to at least try, what do we have to lose?

Today is not just Wednesday, it means we are at the halfway point in the week. Just think, in the same amount of days it took to get to this point, we will be enjoying the weekend! I think it is important to get inspired at the midpoint of the week. I hope the quote that I am sharing with you inspires you and it helps get you through the final part of this week, which has seemed extremely long already. Have you ever wondered why people behave in such a rude and irrational way? My goodness, I wonder about this daily. Even my cats are less pushy and much kinder. The only way I am able to tolerate this type of behavior is to kill them with kindness because it seems to confuse people into silence!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed that quote that I shared and it provided you with enough inspiration to make it through the next few days or at least today. I hope you have a wonderful day with as little stress as possible. I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Tranquil Tuesday

Tuesdays are not too bad, right? This does mean we survived another frustrating and chaotic Monday! How was the first day of the week for you? I cannot say that I can remember a Monday that was so busy, frustrating, and full of nothing besides nonsense! I enjoy days that are busy, but yesterday was something other than just a busy day, and I certainly hope today is better and not even a little like Monday! The saving grace to days like yesterday is a few of my work friends because they do know how to turn the craziness into something a little amusing.

I cannot say the weeks are not way too long, but the truth is, things could always be worse. Another fact is that there will always be those types of people that know how to push our buttons and are trying to get a response. Most of these types of people are wanting us to respond negatively, so they have something to complain about. Now may be the time to try a different approach, to not dignify their distaste with anything and ignore them. Another approach that would really confuse those trying to get a reaction from us is if we respond to them in a kind and compassionate way!

No matter how the week started, at least today is not Monday again! I do not think I could handle another day like yesterday, but I guess we shall see how the day goes. If you could change anything about the weeks, what would you change? I am sure I will regret saying this, but I think it would be great if we could work four 10-hour days and have three days off! Yes, ten hours would be a long day, but I think having three days off would be worth it. Of course, having three days off in a row would be preferred!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed the quote that I shared and it was helpful to read. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. I hope you have a wonderful day and it is not overwhelmingly busy or stressful because I know how terrible that can feel. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Hello, and welcome back to another Monday! I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing weekend. I am always so thankful for the weekend, but after what felt like a never-ending headache/migraine I had most of last week, it was just what I needed. Thankfully, I finally started feeling better yesterday, and the evil head pain had lessened to a pain I was able to tolerate much better. Isn’t it crazy that when you deal with something that is so miserable and painful so frequently, there is a level of pain you find tolerable? In life, I deal with pain 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, but the headaches/migraines are the only form of pain I am unable to deal with!

Today is the beginning of a new week, which I hope is better than last week. Regardless of how last week went for us, I think we should always at least try to begin a new week with the best and most motivated mindset. I hope you will find the quote that I am sharing with you motivating and that it helps you start your week the best way you can. Even if today does not go the way you had hoped it would remember anything you were not able to accomplish today, you can try again tomorrow. Take each minute of the day to appreciate what you can and will do this week, and never listen to anyone that may tell you otherwise.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed the quote I shared with you today and it provided you with the motivation needed for a new week. Most of us do not enjoy Mondays because it means the weekend has ended, but maybe this week will provide us all with many opportunities. I hope you have a wonderful day and I look forward to reading your comments. I will respond to all comments as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

~My Thoughts for the week~

Happy Sunday, y’all! I hope you had a good week and are looking forward to a weekend involving only what brings you the most joy. Last week was an extremely long and difficult week for me, but some of that is because I had a miserable migraine for numerous days in a row. The evil and relentless migraine started midday on Wednesday and did not start easing up until late Saturday. I am not sure how I managed to work while battling with this migraine, but I refused to let it win, which I am not sure if that was determination or stubbornness on my part.

I might not have any control over when the migraines will occur or how severe they may be, or the duration, but I can control how I react to them. I ended up turning my work monitors on dark mode because anything bright made the head pain much worse. I only wish I had the ability for those days to turn the sun off because it was too bright, blinding, and shining through the windows while all I needed was darkness.

I am not sure why migraines happen to people. They can be so intense and hardly anything helps them. It seems like a major punishment for something terrible! It seems like one day, someone with nothing better to do and was unhappy about something in life decided to invent something that would ruin someone’s day and make them miserable. This appears to be the only reasonable explanation that could explain the reason for them. With as many of them as I must endure, I do not think I would wish any of them on anyone, well, I am sure I could think of a few people that are deserving of something so treacherous😊.

The other day, my husband mentioned a few stories to me that he heard on the news, and they are definitely the reasons why I must avoid the news. What he told me was some of the most appalling information I have heard in a long time. There are only a handful of things that will get my blood boiling to what is probably a very unhealthy level. I do understand there is not much we can do about many of the issues in the world, which makes me even more upset. If only I had a magic wand and could use it to make the world a better, happier, and safer place to live, I would in a heartbeat! Unfortunately, I do not have a magic wand and cannot make any changes to the way things are in this world, the only thing I am able to do is to respond to situations in a calmer manner, and not lose my temper with nonsense.

As we have all heard, the United States overturned Roe vs. Wade, which had been in place for more than five decades. Sadly, after the abortion ban that occurred in many states, there was a 10-year-old child raped. The state where she lives made it, so she was unable to get an abortion. This young girl’s family had to drive her to the next state over, where she was able to get an abortion. This rape was not the young girl’s fault, and she should never have been treated this way. This young girl was traumatized by her rapist and traumatized all over again dealing with ignorant politicians mandating policies they do not have the right to do! Why does anyone believe they have a right to control another human being and what they can and cannot do with their own body? Do these people not understand what it means to live in a free country or maybe it is me that does not understand?

Another story my husband heard on the news troubled me immensely was regarding a state representative in Missouri. While this representative was debating a bill concerning gender-affirming care for transgender children, he also wants to present a proposal that implies children as young as 12 years old should be allowed to get married. I am not sure if this representative has children or even understands what children should be doing when they are 12 years old, but I DO NOT believe that getting married is one of them. No 12-year-old child has the maturity level to get married and settle down. The divorce rate in the United States is evidence that even some adults are not mature enough to get and stay married. Regardless of anything a law states, what kind of parent would allow their child to get married at age 12?

I understand I get extremely vocal and upset about things pertaining to our rights and that in a truly free country, we would have the right to choose how we live our lives. We should be able to love who we love, be who we are without retribution, make choices about our bodies without any regulations prohibiting it, and we should be able to live in this world without fear of another mass shooting. Why is it impossible to turn on the news and not hear about another mass shooting? We hear about some mass shootings nearly daily, which is causing people to become desensitized to the situation. Instead of becoming desensitized to the problem we are seeing, we should be demanding changes from our government.

With numerous problems in what is said to be the richest and most powerful countries in the world, how are we to expect positive changes? In a country where politicians do nothing but lie and only care about money, how are we supposed to believe anything that they say? What are we supposed to do when we are not able to trust those that are in power and are able to make the changes that are needed? There are so many people that are continuing to bring innocent lives into a very damaged world, and I am not able to see the reason. Is there still hope for a country full of hate and failing dreams?

Thank you for visiting my site today. As you have just read, I have had a lot of my mind, all while dealing with what seemed like a never-ending migraine. Do any of these issues make sense to you and please if they do, would you be able to explain them to me? I do hope you have had a nice and relaxing weekend. I do look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as possible. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Inspirational Wednesday

We are halfway through this week, which is an amazing accomplishment. I do not know about you, but this week has been very challenging, and exceedingly frustrating. I thought Monday was a difficult day, but my goodness, yesterday was twice as bad. Please do not get me wrong, I am glad my work is getting busier, but it would be nice if people could be a little nicer and more understanding. I am starting to think that is asking too much of people though, which does not make any sense to me, and I do not think it ever will. The good thing is that I do have several people that I can lean on when I get overwhelmed and aggravated enough to cry!

Although we have made it through the first part of this week, we still have the last half to survive! I hope the quote I am sharing provides you with enough inspiration to get you through the next few days. No matter how people will try to portray their lives as perfect, no one has a perfect life. We all have struggles, and it is important to deal with them the best we can. It is crucial to have at least one person you can trust and depend on when you need someone to vent your frustrations to. Trust is a sensitive issue because it can be lost in less than a second, and it may take years, and sometimes not at all to gain back.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you are having a good week and not allowing anyone to steal your sunshine, like I have done this week. I try to believe when another person has an unpleasant attitude, they are just unhappy in their life and it is best to kill them with kindness. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as possible. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Welcome back to another Monday and hopefully, this week is not be as excruciatingly long as last week. How was your weekend? Do you have anything exciting coming up this week? My weekend was very mellow, partially because of how incredibly high my pain levels were. It did not matter what I did, rest with the cats, clean, read, (try) to complete my essay, or attempt to sleep, the pain refused to ease up. I almost forget, due to the Gileyna (the MS medication) messed up the shipping of my order and it will not arrive until Tuesday, which means I will be without AGAIN, for almost one week!

As we enter a new week, I always feel that it is SO important to do so with a positive and motivated outlook. If we anticipate nothing but negative things, unfortunately, that is what we will be forced to deal with. However, if we maintain a positive, motivated, and optimistic view, good things are more likely to occur! The week needs to include little to no stress or negative, and NO mean and ugly behavior! After you read the quote I am sharing with you today, I hope you feel the power, and it provides you with everything you need to handle another week!

I hope your week is filled with nothing but the happiness, love, safety, courage, determination, and compassion you deserve. The world is a terrifying and chaotic place, and I am unsure when it will improve, so until then must be mindful, kind, and understanding toward others. We need to remember what it means to be non-judgmental and unpleasant to anyone with different opinions. This might sound insane, but I told someone the other day the world would be a better and more loving place if only cats ran the world. Animals are nothing but pure love and we need much more of this!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared, and I am looking forward to reading your comments. An important thing we MUST remember and hold close to our hearts is to NEVER push ourselves too hard, and avoid stressing over things that we were unable to accomplish or had no control over. If y’all have any advice on how to have more confidence in yourself, please let me know. The article for the writing competition I am doing is due on May 5th, and I continue to think that I am not good enough! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Rights To A Safe Life

The world seems to be filled with hatred and chaos. There once was a time when my husband and I looked forward to going to concerts because we enjoyed live music, but due to several years of COVID, it has been years since we were able to enjoy this. Is there anything that brought you joy that has been sitting on the backburn for numerous years? If so, what are these things that you enjoyed doing and are you planning to start back up again?

There are many concerts over the next few months that I really want to go to, but I asked my husband what I think is a very valid question, is it safe? We have all heard about the daily acts of violence in the United States, so who is to say it is even safe anymore? There appear to be shootings happening nearly daily at different places, from schools to restaurants to malls and in the streets. Even though I do understand we are all going to die someday, I would much prefer to not die at the hands of a mentally unstable person who thinks they have a right to own a gun.

In the United States and anywhere else around the world, we all have a right to a happy and safe life, which means there must be better control and understanding of ownership of a firearm. I think people think that guns are interesting and fun, which I am sure they can be, but there needs to be an understanding of safety. There is much more involved to the meaning of the 2nd Amendment right or at least there should be. Regardless of if the 2nd Amendment needs to be amended or not, it is also crucial for people to understand we all also have a right to not live in fear!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you have been able to enjoy your weekend to the fullest. For the past two days, I have been feeling very fatigued and therefore did not have much energy. Last week did a number on me, and I needed this time to do nothing. I do understand there will be some people that disagree with what I have shared in this post, but that is your right, and I respect your opinion. I hope you can respect my opinion as well that I believe everyone around the world has a right to live life without fear. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!
