Let It Go Friday

Finally, I can say happy Friday to y’all! Of course, I mentioned that my week did not begin all that well, but things did turn around on Wednesday because I received good news at work. Unfortunately, I am still dealing with car issues, which is beyond frustrating especially because I think it is an easy fix and I just need a new battery. How was your week? Do you have anything planned for the upcoming long weekend that we all deserve to enjoy? Honestly, I do not think I have anything planned, which may have something to do with not having a working vehicle right now, but at least I might get a chance to sleep in a little!

Normally, our weekends consist of two days, but this weekend we have three. Even though it is a slightly longer weekend, we still should try to let go of any negative emotions the week caused so we can enjoy the weekend to the fullest! I hope the quote that I am sharing with y’all today will help you to leave the negative emotions the week exposed you to and allow you to enjoy your weekend peacefully and happily! Most things that occur that are negative are out of our control and there is nothing we could have done to prevent them, so why allow them to cause us any additional grief or stress?

What were some good things that happened during your week? Focus on those and forget the negative because they do not matter anymore. If you could do anything over the long weekend, what is something that you would love to be able to do? I think it would be incredible if money was not something that held us back in life and we could be able to do anything without worrying. One great thing is we are in September, which brings us much closer to my favorite season, Autumn. It is sad Autumn is only a couple of months because the temperatures are typically great because they are not too hot or too cold, they are just perfect.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared with you today and you found the quote helpful. During this long weekend, enjoy it as much as you can, but please stay safe. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Always, Alyssa

Motivational Monday

I hope y’all are having a great long weekend and that you are feeling great and staying safe! Do you have anything planned for today? I do hope no matter what you are planning to do, you will stay safe and listen to what expects are telling us. Unfortunately, even though many of us are off today for Labor Day, but COVID-19 does not take days off. In fact, I know many people are completely forgetting about this virus and doing what they would normally do to celebrate a holiday.

On Friday, my thoughts for the weekend were finish a few posts that I had started, organize a few things, and clean, which may sound pretty boring but sounded great to me. Unfortunately, something I never planned for invaded my long weekend and I ended up dealing with yet again another nasty headache. Things are a lot better today, but I still have a manageable headache and will do the best I can to finish those two posts that I had started. I swear there is never any planning or expecting a terrible headache, but it is something I should never dismiss because they happen.

I might be a little behind because of my horrible and evil headache/migraine, but I do want to share a great quote to help motivate us all at the beginning of this short week. I do hope you will find meaning within this quote and it will motivate you to keep pushing forward no matter what happens. Life is difficult and living with an incurable chronic illness does not help, but we are all powerful and can handle just about anything. I do look forward to reading your thoughts on this quote.

I do not want to make any promises that I might not be able to keep, but I do want to finish a few posts I have started. One of these will not be pushed until Wednesday because it is all about what the date means to me. I hope the rest of your day goes well and you stay safe! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and many positive vibes!

Always, Alyssa
