Motivational Monday

Happy Monday y’all! I hope you had a nice and safe weekend! You might be enjoying a long weekend because of Memorial Day and now that the numbers of COVID are decreasing it is nice to be out among others, but I do hope you are still remaining safe. The numbers might be decreasing, but for some reason I am still a little skeptical and feel the need to continue wearing a mask when I leave the house. Not everyone has been vaccinated because of reasons I will never understand, but these are the people that are a hazard or at least they are in my opinion.

I have been trying to do a motivational quote every Monday and today is no different. The quote I am sharing today holds a lot of meaning, especially on Memorial Day. Our servicemen and women are willing to give their lives to keep others safe and that is truly honorable. My late grandfather and my husband’s late grandfather were both members of the military and they were both great men which had undeniable respect! I have spared before how much I idolize my late grandfather and miss him to this day! I do hope you will enjoy the quote I am sharing and look forward to reading your comments!

I hope your week starts well and you are ready for the week ahead of us. It is a short week, which always seems much longer, or at least they do to me. No matter what the week ahead holds for us, I know that we can all handle any and everything that might be. As I already stated, the COVID numbers are decreasing, but please continue to stay safe or at least do your best. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Always, Alyssa

Motivational Monday!

Happy Monday y’all! I hope you had a lovely and safe weekend! Are you ready to start another week? At least this week comes with a holiday, so hopefully if you are back to work, you at least have one less day of work.

Unfortunately, we are all aware that no matter what they say on the TV, we still need to follow safety precautions. However, even with that said, I hope you are able to enjoy the holiday! Even practicing social distancing, you can still enjoy the day!

Y’all know that even with what our new normal is, I think we still need a little motivation to start the week off right! Of course, I always love the quotes that I find, but I hope you will find some motivation from this quote. I would love the opportunity to read your thoughts because I do always value what you have to say!

I would like to thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you have a wonderful day and your week only continues to get better. This was my first post using the new WordPress block format. I only hope I will get more comfortable and my post will look good again. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, and many positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

01Welcome back Monday. I hope y’all had a wonderful weekend and you are ready to start the week off on a good note! It is gloomy where I live today and looks like the sky is about ready to open a storm. Thankfully, I do not have to go anywhere today and can just stay comfortable at home, which is great because my pain is always a lot more intense on rainy days.

There are a few ideas I have for posts and should have most of them done by Wednesday or Thursday, which I hope you will enjoy. Of course, I have been a little stressed because I currently do not have a job or unnamed (4)insurance, but the stress isn’t helping. My saving grace has been good music and writing more than normal. Unfortunately, I have been dealing with another one of my unwelcome headaches since Friday evening, which did cause me to slow down with completing my profile for Upwork. Besides another nasty headache, I am the reason my profile isn’t doe. I am a little too hard on myself and never think what I write is good enough.

ourcharacterisnot-minI find the quote I am sharing with y’all today very motivating and I do hope you will as well. We all have good days and bad days, but the most important thing is to keep trying. While we should appreciate our good days as much as we can! We must remember the bad days we make it through are the ones that make us stronger and I guess should appreciate them as well. I feel like even though we have never met face to face, I know how strong of a person each of you are.

I hope y’all have a wonderful start to your week and it only continues to improve. I do know it isn’t easy, but try your best to not let anything or anyone bring you down because you are better than that! There is no situation or individual that should be allowed to dull your light!821553772-877f65dcf9eeb694e27705a83304259d

A Day of Remembrance!

memorial-day-1.jpgMemorial Day, is an American Holiday that is observed on the last Monday of the month of May. This holiday is to honor the men and women who lost their lives while serving in the United States military. This day did not actually become an official federal holiday until 1971. Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day in the years that followed the Civil War.

I still cannot understand how any war can be referred to as “Civil” because 620,000 people lost their lives in this war. This “Civil” War or the War Between the States went Memorial Day Tributeon from April 12, 1861 until April 9, 1865. The absolutely absurd thing about this war is, it was fought between the United States of America and the Confederate States of America. The Confederate States of America was 11 southern states that left the union in efforts to form their own country and consisted of; South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Tennessee. The Confederate States of America were fighting to freedom isnt freeprotect their so called rights for slavery.

For me this is a shameful thing to even fight about because I do not believe slavery should have ever existed. Y’all already know this about me, but I strongly believe everyone should be treated equally regardless of their skin color or anything else some might judge on. In 1865, the United States of America defeated those that were part of the Confederate State of America and slavery was abolished.

Of course in 2019, people are using this day to visit cemeteries, memorials, hold family gathering and participate in parades. Today is aimages (14)day to honor those that fought for equality and to not have anyone referred to slaves. The real meaning behind this day is something honorable and should be recognized. To really honor this day, those that are still judging people need to make a true attempt to change their hateful ways and just share love ❤ with all. So many people risked and gave their lives so we could have the opportunity to live among each other. All of us have a beating heart ❤ that feels and has real emotions. With that said, why do so many people still seem to live to only hate? My hope for today is, everyone will realize and understand that love ❤ is the only way to live and hate images (16)should not be allowed to cloud our thoughts.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you have a wonderful day and send a little kindness and love ❤ to another that may really need it. We never know what someone else is going through and it is very possible kind words will not only bring them joy, but it may also make their day! Please know that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love ❤, comfort, and many positive vibes!

My signature heart
