Hello, and welcome back to Monday! I hope you had a wonderful and peaceful weekend and rested up for the week ahead of us! WOW, between my class, taking care of our sweet cat♥, and trying to regain some strength and deal with the unrelenting pain I have endured because of nonstop rain, I have not been able to blog as much as I would have liked. Life can be an intriguing and demanding experience, and we must find ways to manage everything in our lives, which can be challenging. Later today, I have a follow-up appointment with my pain doctor, which I know will go the same as it always does. The worst part about these appointments is driving there, but everything else is easy.
As y’all know, our oldest cat was very sick for too long. I am still not convinced that the doctors were correct regarding their diagnosis. I say this not because of my emotions but because he has slowly improved over the weeks. Yes, the healing has taken a while, but I refuse to accept what was said, that he only has three months to live♥. I think that is the most ludicrous and preposterous thing any doctor could say, especially since they do not know him as we do. They made this decision based on what one doctor thought was fluid around his lungs but said she was not sure what she was looking at, to another saying it was an inoperable tumor. It does not matter if you are dealing with a veterinarian or your doctor, there is nothing wrong with questioning them because they are NOT always correct!
I have completed two weeks of my class and received an A on the four tests I have taken. I am enjoying my medical coding class and feel it will open doors to a great career in which I will excel. I will be taking another class that begins on February 14th for medical terminology. It has been over a decade since I took medical terminology, so this will be a good refresher and help me start my career the right way. My instructor told us medical terminology is important for a career in medical coding since doctors writing the orders do not always elaborate and getting them on the phone is challenging. Hopefully, at the end of the medical coding class, I will be able to find a job quickly and continue the medical terminology class while working and getting a paycheck again!
I have not decided if I will do any other classes after I finish medical terminology, but if I find something beneficial, I do not see a reason not to. Time will pass no matter what, so furthering an education is not a waste of time. I enjoy taking classes and furthering my knowledge as it keeps my brain thinking sharp instead of doing nothing and missing out on spectacular opportunities. I am a little obsessive with taking notes and organizing my notebooks, but I do not view this as a negative quality. No matter what I have done in life, my notes are color-coded and organized in a way that makes it easy to reflect on them in case I forget something.
Thank you for stopping by my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I shared and that something I said motivates you to try something new. We can view life as extremely short or painfully long, but the positive way to view life is an exciting journey, and we must make the most of it. Everyone battles with challenges, and some can make you feel helpless or vulnerable, but we all have a strength inside we might forget about. Never forget you are a powerful individual who can accomplish anything you want, and NO obstacles will hold you back from achieving what you want in this life. Please never forget I am always sending y’all LOTS of love♥, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes! I will do my best to respond to any comments as quickly as possible, I promise!
Always, Alyssa
