Tranquil Tuesday

I must say that surviving the most dreaded day of the week deserves praise and congratulations😊! Monday is never very exciting, but I do hope it was not too bad for y’all! Yesterday was not all bad for me, it was of course, a little busy but nothing that I cannot handle. I think it is just difficult to let go of the weekend when we can relax and not wake up to an alarm clock. Anything we were not able to get done yesterday, we have another chance today! Unfortunately, today I get to drive on the worst road in the world to go to my routine follow-up appointment. These appointments are useless because nothing ever changes!

Moving into the second day of the week is a good thing because it means we are one day closer to the weekend. Yes, I am already ready for the weekend😊! Regardless of how many days are left in the week, we need to try to remain calm and handle things as they come, instead of thinking about what might happen! I really enjoyed the quote that I am sharing with y’all today and hope you will as well, and that it offers you a sense of calmness and strength! I think it is easy to forget how incredibly strong we all are because life gets chaotic. No matter what occurs in our lives, never doubt yourself because YOU can handle anything! NEVER let anyone ever tell you that you cannot do something because you can do anything!

I know many of us must deal with various different doctor’s appointments, right? Today the appointment is just with my pain doctor and I like her because she is kind and easy to talk to. I think it is important to always be prepared for appointments, which means having notes for what you need to talk about, prescriptions that need to be filled, and any other concerns you might have. It is so easy to forget to mention things when in the exam room, so it is best to be ready and prepared because getting in touch with a doctor after the appointment seems nearly impossible!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I appreciate you taking the time to read what I share and hope you enjoyed. I hope you found the quote calming and it helps you survive another day. I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Hello again, Monday! It is crazy how quickly the weekends fly by because it feels like it was just Friday not too long ago. I guess this is just something that happens every week, and we should consider ourselves lucky to have another opportunity with a new week. I hope this week holds many wonderful opportunities for all of you and you will not let anyone or anything get in your way of achieving greatness! Even though the weekend did seem short, I hope you were able to enjoy it and do something for yourself. My weekend was relaxing and quiet until Sunday when I woke up with a terrible migraine that would not go away. Unfortunately, this is something I endure too much and it never gets any easier.

As we begin a new week, I feel it is important to try to do so with a motivated and good mindset. If we do not try to start the week in the best frame of mind, we cannot expect the rest of the week to be as great as it should be. Each of us has faced countless battles and various struggles, but we are still here to live another day. Our journeys will always take strength and courage we never knew we had, but one day we will realize how incredibly strong and powerful we are. We can use these qualities to keep up a good fight and this will show others what they are capable of. Each storm we survived during this life, gives us the courage we need to face all the other challenges that life has in store for us!

I know most people are not ready for another Monday, but they never fail to return and it is another chance to do great things. I tried telling my cats this😊, but they did not think it was a good idea for their Mommy to have to be glued to her work laptop and not with them. I guess it is a good thing that they sleep around 20 hours a day and when they are not sleeping, they are enjoying playing with one another. I would give anything to live the life of our cats because they have everything and more they could ever want, plus everything is handed to them and they do not have to work😊! Our cats do not understand how lucky they are because not everyone treats their pets like family!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and the quote provided you the motivation necessary to begin another week. If there is such a thing as being reincarnated, I hope I will be lucky enough to come back as a cat who has a life as mine do! Those precious little fur balls have it made😊, but I still love them more than I could ever explain! I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

My Sunday Thoughts

Happy Sunday, y’all! I hope you have had an enjoyable and relaxing week. Unfortunately, the weekend is nearing its end and it will be time to prepare for the new week soon. Why does it feel like it was Friday only 30 minutes ago, and we were excited about the week? The workweeks can be painfully long, and the weekends are always way too short, which seems unfair. I wish there was a way to flip-flop how the weeks were and we had at least four days off in a row and work the other three days but no more than 6 hours. Every company always “preaches” how they believe in providing work-life balance for their employees, but I am not sure how anyone is getting work-life balance when we are working more than when we are home with family.

How does it affect you when a friend goes through an extremely difficult situation, especially when the situation is something you also experienced? I know I did a post about my experience with being laid off when it happened. It has been a few years now, but the emotions surrounding this are still raw. Anytime I get worried about work being very slow, I start to panic because I fear I will go through another layoff. Of course, the company that laid me off was in the mortgage industry and the company I am at now is different and has ZERO to do with mortgages, but it was expected due to the economy. Anyways, I friend I made while working with mortgages sent me a text on Saturday letting me know she had been laid off.

When I am friends with someone, even if I have never met the person face to face, but you worked closely with them via emails and phone calls, I care about the person. It seems like I can feel their pain and it is even more intense when a friend goes through something I went through. Going through a layoff can have a strong and negative impact on your life. It feels like the rug was pulled from beneath you and you land on your rear end. When someone gets laid off, there is immediate stress felt deeply for how they will be able to care for themselves and their family. Something that has this strong of an impact on your life can stay with you for years. I think I might have a mild case of PTSD because of what I went through and knowing someone else went through this breaks my heart.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared, and you have had a great weekend! Sadly, tomorrow is Monday again and we are in for another 5 days of working 8-hour days. On Tuesday, I have my routine follow-up appointment with my pain doctor, and these appointments always go the same way. The only bad part of these appointments is having to drive on what I think is the worst road in the world, but maybe it will not be too bad. Yeah right, who am I kidding? There is so much road construction, which causes many delays I doubt anything will be any different from the last time I had one of these follow-up appointments. I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Saturday Thoughts

Happy Saturday! I hope your weekend is going well so far and you are trying to do something that makes you happy and helps you to relax. Anyone who must work five days in a row can understand how exhausting it can be. Even though I work from home, being forced to sit in front of a computer for eight LONG hours is draining, but when you add in listening to people complain it makes it feel even LONGER! I am so thankful for the weekend and even though two days are never enough, I will plan to appreciate and enjoy each day to the fullest. Of course, this does mean that I will do as little as possible and anything I do will be because I want to😊!

I mentioned in a previous post that I am considering doing another writing competition. I think once I can stop debating with myself if my writing is good enough, I will mostly just try. However, I cannot decide if I should do another personal essay or if I should do a research-based article. I know that doing a personal essay sounds easier and with it being a personal essay it might show more heart, but I am not sure if that is the way I want to go. I think if I do a research-based article, I could still add a lot of personality and heart. I have several ideas for the research-based article and am planning to do an outline for each because I think that will help me make a final decision.

I have a question for anyone reading this because I do value your opinions and advice. Have you ever done a writing competition? If so, how did you choose the topic to write about? Many of you have been loyal followers for a while with my blog, so I think you understand my writing style and abilities, what would you suggest I do about this competition? The deadline for this is not until May, but I prefer to prepare for things early. I do not like to wait until the last minute because so many things can go wrong in life, and I think it is best to have plenty of time to make necessary corrections!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site today. I know we are all busy in life, so I do appreciate you reading what I have shared and I am looking forward to reading your comments, and advice! I hope you will be able to enjoy your weekend and do something for yourself. I think many people are always doing things for others and it is important to do something for ourselves at least once a week, more would be better! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Let It Go Friday

WOW, we have finally made it to Friday! It has seemed like a long week and I am so thankful the weekend will start soon. How has your week been and are you looking forward to the weekend? I know that is a silly question because most of us look forward to the weekend on Monday morning or at least I know I do. Working from home is a great experience and I have a handful of co-workers who are amazing to work with. It is crazy how close you can become with someone you have never met before just through numerous conversations.

At the end of the week, I think it is time to let go of anything negative that might have occurred during the week Our weekends are too short to have those negative issues weighing on our minds. It will always be difficult to get through a week or even a day without being confronted by people with terrible attitudes. I know it is challenging to not meet their attitude with negativity, but it will show who is the bigger and better person. Sometimes, we need to look at who the person is and realize they must be going through something in their personal life and it has nothing to do with anything we have done. Personally, I would prefer to walk away from people with a negative attitude because I do not want to fall to their level.

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you enjoyed this post and I am looking forward to reading your comments. I will respond to your comments as quickly as I can! Over the weekend, I plan to finish going through our closets to find things we will be donating and I also want to read and write. Some things are difficult to do during the week because I am normally too tired to think clearly, so the weekends are my time to play catch up! I hope you have an amazing and relaxing weekend. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Pick-Me-Up Thursday

I always prefer to think of today as Friday eve because it sounds much better than Thursday! How has your week been? For some reason, even though it has not been a super busy week, it has felt incredibly long. Life can be so exhausting because it seems like someone always needs something or someone feels the need to complain. I am not sure what people think complaining is going to accomplish, except drive others crazy. Maybe that is their goal or maybe they just like to hear their voice. No matter what I go through in life, I do try to never complain because it does nothing positive!

We have managed to make it through most of this week and only have one final day to survive because the weekend returns! I think we could all use a little pick-me-up to get through one more day, which hopefully, will not be too terrible! Unfortunately, we too often must deal with people who are unkind and rude, which none of us deserve. I hope the quote that I am sharing will help you handle these poorly behaved people and that you know that you are MUCH better than that! I do still believe when people are rude to others, they are just unhappy with themselves and want to make others feel just as badly as they do.

Now that we are so close to the weekend, do you have any plans? The only thing I know I am going to do is, go through my closet and decide what I am going to donate. I think this is important to do every so often because there are so many people that are in need and if we have things we are not using, there is no reason to keep them. I used to be better about doing this every few months because there was a place where we used to live that helped women and children who were in an abusive environment. Regardless of if I can find another place like that where we are living now, there are still so many homeless the need warm clothes in the cooler weather.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and the quote was a nice pick-me-up for you. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as possible. Always remember, YOU are important and YOU deserve nothing but the best in life. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Continued Gun Violence

We are only 25 days into 2023 and as of yesterday, there have already been 39 mass shootings in the United States that have caused 70 innocent people to lose their lives. These tragedies do NOT occur in any other developed country because other countries have found a way to prevent unnecessary gun violence. These continued acts of hatred do not make any sense to me, and I have many questions that I am not sure anyone can answer. The first question is why can the United States not find a rational solution and end gun violence? How many more people will need to die before changes will be made? The 2nd Amendment was written in 1791, but did they mean they thought everyone should carry a weapon? I think we need to face the fact; the 2nd Amendment needs to be updated so that the mass population stops misinterpreting it.

As I have already stated, the 2nd Amendment was written in 1791 and reads, “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Right in the first sentence, Militia is a military force that is raised from the civil population, to supplement a regular army in an emergency. What does this mean to you? To me, this should mean guns are for our military to use in an emergency, such as war, and or to defend our country. With that said, guns must be regulated better and more efficiently. Anytime I have tried talking to other Americans about control, they try to hold on tight to what they think the 2nd Amendment means, but I do not think they read it and understood it correctly!

I do not think that guns belong on the streets or in homes because they are unsafe when people are not trained. A couple of weeks ago, a 6-year-old child brought a gun to school with him and shot his 1st-grade teacher. This was not a mass shooting, but it did cause harm to an innocent teacher and that child should have never had access to it or even known where it was in the home. The devastation of gun violence upsets me deeply and the fact we already had so many mass shootings early in the year, scares me to see what the remainder of the year will hold. Changes with gun policies have needed to change for a long time and I only hope the change will happen sooner rather than later.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I know many people will not agree with me on this topic, but I do still look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as possible. I hope you are having a good week and you are staying safe. We have made it through the first part of the week, so hopefully, the last part of the week will be easy and go well. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Tranquil Tuesday

The good news is we somehow managed to survive Monday, which tends to be the most challenging day of the week! Yesterday, was much busier than it has been for a few weeks now. More work meant there were many more customers who thought their orders and problems were the MOST important. Thankfully, I am good at providing good customer service and giving them my undivided attention. It does help that I have friends in the other departments that can help resolve issues quickly and seamlessly! I only wish that everyone I deal with did things the same way because my dentist still has not spoken to me about the issues I have been dealing with since my tooth extraction. The nonstop static sound playing in my ears and head is incredibly annoying!

Moving along to the second day of this week. Tuesday should be a lot calmer and not as busy, but we will see. I do not mind busy days because it makes the day go by SO much faster! Today, I do have a few meetings, one of which is my normal one-on-one with my supervisor, which I never mind because I adore her! Considering we made it through Monday, each day should get better until we make it through the week. I always think it is important to try to seek out calmness during the week and I hope the quote I am sharing provides that to you! It is not easy to find peace in this world because it is so chaotic and full of hateful situations that we see on the news. I do try my best to avoid the news because it is so depressing and there is not a lot that I can do.

How did your week start? I know it is not easy, but letting things get you stressed is not worth it. It is important to try to understand the things you do have control over and not waste your time on what you have no control over. The only thing stress does is make matters worst and can cause unnecessary health issues, and if you live in the United States costs more money because our healthcare system is very unfair. Of course, I say this, and I do allow stress to consume me, which causes MANY issues with Multiple Sclerosis.

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you have enjoyed what I shared and that you found the quote a nice reminder of peace. Staying at peace and maintaining that peace is what will help us all through our time in this world. I hope you are having a good week and your Tuesday is filled with everything that makes you happy and content! I do look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Hello again, Monday! I hope y’all had a nice and relaxing weekend! Ready or not, the new week has started and instead of dreading the day, we must learn to embrace it because it will always come back too quickly! Did you do anything exciting over the weekend or did you just spend it recovering from last week and preparing for this week? I basically did nothing too exciting, but I did sleep on one of the days, which is HUGE for me because it is very rare!

As we begin the new week, we must hope for the best and most amazing opportunities. We need to not just wait for these new opportunities to find us but go after the things we want. It does not matter what others think about what we are doing or how we accomplish what we want in this life, the only person’s opinion that matters is how we view ourselves. We need to be proud of who we are in our lives and others who matter will end up following! Unfortunately, it will never matter how well we do because too many people will be too quick to judge. The best thing we can do is stop living our life to impress others and get their approval and start being proud of who we are!

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you found the quote that I shared motivating and it helps start your week with a motivating and positive mindset. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as possible. I hope you have a wonderful day and your week continues to get better until we reach the end of the week. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Sunday Thoughts

Happy Sunday, y’all! I hope you have been able to enjoy your weekend😊! It is so amazing how short the weekends are, but how quickly the months pass by. It feels like January just began and yet we are more than halfway through the month. Were you able to do anything you wanted to over the weekend? Honestly, I have tried spending the weekend doing nothing. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing the VERY unwelcome. MS Hug again. I am not sure why this MS Hug was not made aware of social distancing because it has gotten WAY too close for me. I have always been uncomfortable when people get too close to me because I appreciate my personal space. I know that it will pass, but it is not passing soon enough. A heating pad helps some and no number of tears make will it go away any faster☹.

Even though things did not go the way I would have hoped the first time I tried, I am considering doing another writing competition. The difference in the one I am thinking about doing is I have a choice to either do a personal essay or I can do an article based on something I have researched. I have always enjoyed researching and think this would be an exciting adventure. The bad part about trying this is that I have always questioned my abilities and never thought that I was good enough. Of course, I also think that if I do not at least try I will always wonder what could have been. Do any of you have any advice or suggestions?

For most people, Sunday is a day to rest and prepare for the week ahead of us. Normally, I try getting laundry done today and anything else I was not able to do during the week. Today, where I live is rainy with a slight chill in the air, but I will still finish the one load of laundry I did not get done yet and relax with the cats on the couch. I am also going to think about writing ideas for the competition that I may or may not participate in. Who am I kidding? I do fully plan to do the competition because if I do not, I will always wonder what might have happened.

What do you think about change? Do you think that in 2023, the world should be more accepting of others and the way they choose to live THEIR lives? Do you think we should have evolved much more than many have? I am not trying to push my views onto anyone else, but I do not think anything should trouble our lives unless it negatively affects our daily lives. It does not affect my life if two people get married out of love, even if they are of the same sex. Another thing that does not affect my daily life is transgender. The United States is SUPPOSED to be a free country and unless we have been lied to for decades, we can all live our lives the way we want, which means we are allowed to love who we love, be whoever we want to be, follow the religion we want and read the bible associated with that religion, and anything else as long as it does not harm another person!

Do you think that our governments tell us the truth? Would it be so hard to believe that we are not being told the truth about things in this world? Why are many of us not being treated fairly and able to have healthcare that is the best for us, which would be free or at least a lot more affordable? Why do so many have to suffer from an illness we are told there is no cure for? Would it be so hard to believe that there are cures for many of the diseases in the world, but only for an extremely HIGH amount? I do believe anything is possible!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and that you are having a good weekend. I know some of what I have written can be a little controversial and some of you may disagree with me, which is completely within your rights. I would love the chance to read your comments and I will respond as quickly as possible! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!
