Let It Go Friday

Guess what y’all, it is finally Friday!! I am sure I am not the only one that feels this way, but this week felt SO LONG! I know it was the same five days that each week is, but it felt much longer. Of course, it does not help that I was ready for Friday on Monday morning😊! The weather where I live was very messy yesterday. It rained all day, which made it appear darker than normal and a little chilly. Thankfully, I think the weekend is going to be a little nicer and hopefully, there will not be any rain! Even though the rain makes me hurt much worse, I would almost prefer it to rain on my days off because it gives me a reason to just stay nice and cozy on the couch with the cats!

After a week that felt super long, I think today will be the perfect day to try letting go of any negative feelings the week created. Our weekends are too short to bring any negativity in and much better left in the past. There are times in our lives when we have been disappointed by another too much and none of us deserve this. Walking away from those who have caused us so much pain from disappointments can be necessary for our own well-being. It is not easy, but often VERY much required because we all deserve happiness. It might be friends or family or just acquittances, it is okay to walk away from them! Please never feel guilty to walk away from someone in your life that caused you any kind of pain!

Now that the weekend is almost here, do you have anything planned for these next two days? Just because it is the weekend, it does not mean we have to have plans, it is completely okay to want to rest and recuperate from the week. I would like to work on what I am doing for the writing competition, catch up on some reading, and most of all catch up on sleep!! Of course, my cats do not understand this and will more than likely want me to get up at the same time so they can have their Fancy Feast treats. We will see though, I am just happy to not have to work and be forced to listen to people complain and make unreasonable demands!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and you found the quote helpful in letting go and walking away from the unnecessary upset. Hopefully, you will do something that makes you happy this weekend and whatever you do, you do so safely! I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I possibly can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Let It Go Friday

WOW, we have finally made it to Friday! It has seemed like a long week and I am so thankful the weekend will start soon. How has your week been and are you looking forward to the weekend? I know that is a silly question because most of us look forward to the weekend on Monday morning or at least I know I do. Working from home is a great experience and I have a handful of co-workers who are amazing to work with. It is crazy how close you can become with someone you have never met before just through numerous conversations.

At the end of the week, I think it is time to let go of anything negative that might have occurred during the week Our weekends are too short to have those negative issues weighing on our minds. It will always be difficult to get through a week or even a day without being confronted by people with terrible attitudes. I know it is challenging to not meet their attitude with negativity, but it will show who is the bigger and better person. Sometimes, we need to look at who the person is and realize they must be going through something in their personal life and it has nothing to do with anything we have done. Personally, I would prefer to walk away from people with a negative attitude because I do not want to fall to their level.

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you enjoyed this post and I am looking forward to reading your comments. I will respond to your comments as quickly as I can! Over the weekend, I plan to finish going through our closets to find things we will be donating and I also want to read and write. Some things are difficult to do during the week because I am normally too tired to think clearly, so the weekends are my time to play catch up! I hope you have an amazing and relaxing weekend. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Last Friday of the year

It is hard to believe that 2022 is almost over. Today is the final Friday of the year and the last day of the workweek of the year, so hopefully it will be a good one! I hope you have had a good week and you are looking forward to the weekend. Do you have any plans to celebrate the New Year? We do not have anything exciting planned to celebrate the New Year and will probably do the same thing we have done for many years, stay home and watch the ball drop from the warmth and comfort of our home with our sweet three fur babies! We are going this morning to get another COVID booster, so we can be protected from getting sick while we are on vacation celebrating my husband’s birthday.

This is going to be my last Friday post for the year and I wanted to share a quote that I found for the year almost being over. If you are anything like me, you are hard on yourself when something did not go the way you had planned, which is an awful way to be. Anytime I think I have done something wrong or not good enough, I will beat myself up for days, if not weeks. I fail to remember that tomorrow is another day, which is another chance to try again!

I hope you have had a nice week! I am planning to do another post later about the 2nd COVID booster experience, so please stay tuned! I remember the last time we got the booster, I felt awful all weekend and I am hoping this time will be different. In a way, I am glad I reacted to the last booster because it made me believe I was even more protected from getting COVID, but I am not looking forward to going through that again. I do understand people are still getting COVID, even once they are fully vaccinated, but it is preventing hospitalizations and the worst from happening. I know I mentioned a few weeks ago that both my mother and her husband got COVID and they were both fully vaccinated, and did recover quickly without ending up in the hospital.

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you have a wonderful day and a safe, and amazing weekend! I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and you found the quote to be as great as I did. I am looking forward to reading your comments and will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

It is finally Friday!

Happy Friday y’all! How was your week? I am not sure why, but this week felt incredibly LONG and I am so glad the weekend is almost here! It seems like the closer we get to the holidays, the crazier people become and it does not make sense to me. The insanity is exhausting and I think everyone needs to calm down and relax. The things some people think are so important and urgent are most of the time not that big of a deal. I find it a little disturbing that people think they need to spend LOADS of money on Christmas when there are still so many people starving and without a roof over their heads at night. I have already made several blankets that I am going to be donating to homeless shelters to try to help keep people warm when the temperatures are cold. I am also donating clothing to help people in need.

With today being the last day of the week before the weekend begins, I think it is the perfect day to let go of any negative feelings the week created. The weekends are so short and we should be able to enjoy them to the fullest without the weight of negative feelings from the week evading it. I hope you will find meaning in the quote that I am sharing with y’all today because I found this very powerful. I guess one of the reasons I found this quote so meaningful and encouraging is because life is not always easy or fun, and we all deal with issues in life that altered our perceptions, but most of the time the challenges we face made us a better version of who were used to be. Change is scary, but a necessity in life!

Do you have any plans for the weekend? I am happy to say that I do not have anything planned, except hopefully having a chance to finish a few posts that I have been working on. One of the reasons I love the weekends as much as I do is that I do not have to do anything that I do not want to do and I do not have to wake up early. Although I am sure I will wake up earlier than I would like, I can rest with the cats on the couch and watch the shows that I enjoy! I am not sure if it is the weather or what the reason is, but I just feel exhausted and do not have the energy needed to deal with any frustrations or unnecessary BS.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I do apologize in advance for the negative tone I might have had, I am just trying to deal with some irritating issues. There was one good thing that happened last week, which was that lying twit Herschel Walker losing😊. It is the simple things in life that bring SO much joy! I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and you can do anything that brings YOU joy! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Let It Go Friday

Finally, happy Friday y’all! I hope you have had a good week, but are looking forward to the weekend! I am definitely looking forward to a weekend I do not have any plans or anything I must do besides laundry! This might sound insane, but I enjoy doing laundry, but absolutely despise cleaning a bathroom or to be more specific despise cleaning a tub! I think the worst part of cleaning a tub is the fact there is too much space to cover and the smells from the cleaners make me nauseous and slightly dizzy! I know it seems like it would make sense to leave the bathroom door open while cleaning the tub, but I am unable to do this because of our cats and one of them has asthma.

As today is the last day of the week and the weekend will begin soon, so now is the day to let go of anything that caused frustration or stress during the week, so we can enjoy the weekend! I think it is important to learn to walk away from negative things in our lives, which might be people, jobs, and anything else that causes negative emotions because life is far too short to deal with anything that brings us down. It is crucial for everyone to know what they are worth and to never allow anyone or anything to diminish our self-worth!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you have had a good week and you have a wonderful, and safe weekend! Whatever you do this weekend, I hope it brings you a lot of joy. I am hoping after resting this weekend that the pain I have been struggling with for a while now will get better, but I am logical and know it has been part of my life for years and does not seem to be letting up. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Let It Go Friday

We have finally made it through this week and I am so glad the weekend has nearly arrived! It has without a doubt been a long week and there was a lot of rain towards the end of the week. There are various reasons that I am thankful to not live in Florida, but they were, unfortunately, hit with another massive hurricane and I am sure they were still picking up the pieces of the last hurricane they experienced. We are far enough from the coast where we live to not be in too much danger, but we are dealing with heavy rain and high winds which can and have caused problems previously.

After a long week, most of us have dealt with some frustrations and I think we should use Friday as a day to let go of all the negativity. There is no use in bringing the negative issues from the week into the very short weekend because we need time to enjoy life! Tuesday was the midterm elections in the United States. Of course, politics is always a HOT topic because everyone has an opinion that they think is correct. My husband and I did vote, but of course, we live in a state that always elects those we disagree with. We have watched some of the outcomes from the election and personally I am embarrassed for the people that were either re-elected or elected into office because they are a disgrace. This has caused me to feel slightly negative emotions, but I am trying to let it go and forget about it because, besides to vote, there is nothing I can do to change things with the system.

Do you have any plans for the weekend? One thing I know for sure is, I am not working this weekend, so I do not have to get up super early! I have a few ideas of things I want to write about and some posts that I should finish over the weekend. That is my plan at least, but things can always happen and change the plans. What I will say is I am so happy that it is Friday because I have been waiting for it since Monday morning. It is a little sad that I have waited for Friday the entire week and now that it has arrived it will fly by super fast and before I can blink an eye, I will be back to looking forward to the weekend!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed this post and you have a wonderful day! I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Whatever you do this weekend, please stay as safe as you possibly can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Personality Traits

Happy Friday! I hope you had a good week and you are prepared for the weekend! It has been a crazy long week and I am thankful the week is finally over. How was your week? Today, I am not doing my normal Friday post because I wanted to write about something that I found interesting and hope you do as well. Sometimes I just enjoying writing about things I think are fascinating and different than the normal.

We are living in a world that has eight billion people, all of which have different and unique personality traits. I find most of these personality traits intriguing and want to learn and understand them better. With the various types of traits, there are, I find it challenging to comprehend several of these traits because they are the exact opposite of who I am. Before I explain the personality traits I cannot understand, I want to discuss how we develop our personalities. Are they something that is ingrained in us since we were young or do are personalities continue to develop throughout our lives? Do our personalities have anything to do with how we were raised? Do past experiences alter who we are in life and therefore affect our personality?

Before I continue to write and you take the time to read, there is something important I need you to understand. Please be advised that I am not a medical professional or psychologist, so all the information I am providing is from research I have done to further my understanding. The information in the rest of this post is not meant to be professional or expert advice, but just some amateur knowledge I have obtained. I have always found psychology interesting and exciting to learn. Personalities can be fascinating and the development of them is beneficial to understand why people behave the way they do.

According to social cognitive theory, our personality development occurs by observing the behaviors of others. Psychologists believe our personalities get better over time and refer to this as “the maturity principle”. As time passes, we become more extroverted, emotionally stable, agreeable, and conscientious as we age. We are not born with a personality, but our experiences in life, education, and environment help to mold aspects of our personality. Our genes and parents do play a role in our personality as well, but not entirely.

Psychologists have determined that those that display positive personality traits, such as kindness, honesty, caring, reliability, responsible, loyal, strong, and resilience have developed habitual responses that have remained permanent. The good news is, habits can be learned, so simply altering your habitual responses over time is an amazing way to create a change in your personality.

The personality traits that I will never understand are those that are considered negative. People can be pessimistic at times because of bad events that occurred in their life, but most can snap out of this when life gets better for them. I think it is exhausting to be around someone who is constantly pessimistic throughout their entire life and always sees the glass as half empty. Unfortunately, you can try helping these individuals view things differently, but many times you cannot fix their perception of issues in life. Personally, I do not judge anyone based on anything besides how they treat others. I would like to think we are all just human beings trying our best to survive in this crazy world and should be thought of as equals.

I try to avoid dishonest people, which seems to be a trait of all politicians possess. I would guess this is the main reason I do not like politics. You never can be sure when politicians are being truthful. Once someone lies and loses our trust, it is extremely difficult and sometimes impossible to regain. Another trait many people seem to have nowadays is manipulative qualities. I would almost put these traits in a similar category. Manipulative people are being dishonest. Manipulative people try to play on another person’s emotions, get frustrated and impatient easily, tend to be the ones that will make plans, and they do not listen without interrupting.

Lastly, one of the main personality traits I do not understand is narcissism. Narcissistic people tend to have an inflated sense of self-importance, have a sense of entitlement, require constant and excessive admiration, expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements that would warrant it, and exaggerate their achievements and or talents. This type of person lacks empathy for others when they are struggling.

After reading this, are there any personality traits you find difficult to understand and may try avoiding those with the traits? Do you have ways to tolerate people with personality traits you do not understand or care for? Do you know what type of personality traits you have and are proud of?

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I shared, and it helped you understand the development of personality traits. I hope you have had a good week and you are looking forward to the weekend. This week has been much cooler, so my body is learning to adjust. The cooler weather has definitely created a lot more pain. Thankfully, the space heater I have under my desk and the heating pad helps a lot! I am looking forward to reading your comments and promise to respond as quickly as possible. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Finally Friday!

Happy Friday, y’all! How was your week? This might have been a short week for me, but it did feel VERY long! I can think of a couple of reasons why this week felt long for me. One reason is that people are exhausting and extremely demanding. I cannot understand how “some” people can be selfish enough to believe whatever they think they need is more important than the hurricane that just happened in Florida. I mean, people lost their homes and lives, so I think what they are dealing with is WAY more important than anything superficial. The other reason why this week has felt longer is that my very understanding and amazing supervisor is on vacation. Who would have thought things could change so much at work without her?!

I have always thought that Friday is the perfect day to let go of anything negative thoughts that are weighing on our minds, especially the negative things caused during the week. Our weekends are already TOO short, so wasting any time on negative thoughts is useless. We might have some negative thoughts that were leftover from last week or are still in our minds from another time because we were not able to let go of those thoughts. It happens and I understand, but we should all at least try to let all negative feelings go at least once a week. I hope the quote I am sharing today helps you to let go and not hold onto any negative feelings towards anyone in your life!

Of course, my weekend plans are limited because I feel like I need time to recuperate from the week and I do not want to do much of anything because I have felt drained this week. I think it might have something to do with the weather changes causing my pain to increase and I am not sure what else, but rest is a MUST. I do want to finish a couple of posts that I started about Domestic Violence Awareness and Bullying Prevention Month and clean the house! So stay tuned for these posts to be published soon!!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed the quote and it helps you let go of any negative feelings you are experiencing. I am looking forward to reading your comments, which I will respond to as quickly as I can. I hope you have a nice, relaxing, and safe weekend! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Let It Go Friday

I am so glad that it is finally Friday because this has been a challenging week. I am sure you are looking forward to the week as much as I am and I hope you have whatever you have planned brings you a lot of joy. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with not having any plans and in fact, sometimes that is the best way to spend these short weekends. After a long week, sometimes we just need time to recuperate and heal from the week. I do hope you had a nice week and you did not endure anything too challenging.

Now that we have made it through the week, we need to try letting go of anything negative that we had to deal with during the week because we deserve to have a good weekend. Were there any specific days that were more demanding than any of the others? You think I would say that Monday was the most challenging, but to tell you the truth yesterday was the most demanding, challenging, and miserable day I have had in a while. I am truly thankful that I did have an opportunity to call someone to vent and cry to because this person is incredible, kind, understanding, and logical, but also is never quick to be judgmental. It helped to just be able to vent and work through my feelings. I never use specific names to protect the privacy of others, but “B”, this one is for you😊!

Life can be one of the most beautiful, magnificent, and amazing things in the world, but it can also be extremely painful and exhausting, so we must try to find ways to cope with the many challenges we will be presented with. If you are anything like me, you bottle things up inside until you feel like you are going to explode. I am fully aware that this is the most unhealthy way to handle things. It is always best to have open and honest about the way you are feeling and or how another person is making you feel. Yes, I know this is not easy, but it is crucial to have at least one person you can confide in and know what you say will not leave their lips to tell anyone else.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared today and hope you have a good day. I am looking forward to reading your comments and will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Let It Go Friday

Happy Friday, y’all! It might have been a short week, but it certainly felt longer than just four days. It never ceases to amaze me how much people think what they want or think they need must happen immediately and forget to think about what is possible. Most of what people fret about is not a matter of life and death or even as important as they think it is. There are too many people in the world going hungry and or living without a roof over their heads, so the things people worry themselves about are purely a luxury. I wish everyone could get along and live happily with what they are blessed with and quit demanding more.

The work week is finally over and the weekend will be here in a few hours! The weekends are so short, so anything that caused us stress and or negative emotions needs to be left in the past so we can enjoy the weekend! I hope the quote that I am sharing with y’all today will help you to leave those negative emotions in the past and move forward into a relaxing weekend! I know it seems like just common sense, but I also know how hard it is to forget the negative things that happened during the week. Life is too short to let negative thoughts and people hold us down!

I hope you had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend. Do you have anything planned for the weekend? I am planning to clean the house and watch a UFC fight tomorrow night with my husband. I am not a fighter and do not like violence, but one of the fighters that are fighting tomorrow night is hilarious to listen to and try to understand. Anything you do have planned for the weekend, I hope it brings you a lot of joy and you do so safely. Most people have gotten the COVID vaccine and booster, but it seems that people are still getting sick with the new variant. I am sure I am not the only one, but I am beyond tired of COVID. It seems that COVID is like the nagging gnat at a summer BBQ that will not go away!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and the quote helps you find a way of letting go of anything negative plaguing your mind. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!
