Let It Go Friday

Happy Friday, y’all! I hope your week went well and that you are looking forward to the weekend😊! I missed doing a post yesterday because on Wednesday morning, while I was brushing my teeth like I always do, one of my front teeth broke☹. It was not the best way to start a day, but I called my dentist right away, and she was able to squeeze me in to be seen yesterday morning. I have never been a huge fan of any dentists because it seems like they chose a profession that allows them to legally cause people pain.

Anyways, I had a massive headache, which I assume was because of the broken tooth, and was not able to do my Friday Eve post. Even as I am writing this post, my head and mouth are still a little sore, and I am feeling nauseous, which is probably due to the numbing medication the dentist used. The good news is, my dentist was able to fix both of my front two teeth, and they look much better!! I think it is always important to find good in every situation we go through, and yes, sometimes it is harder than others.

Everyone that has been following my blog for any length of time knows that I think Friday is the perfect day to let go of any negative feelings created by the week. Weekends, no matter how long they may be, are too short to carry anything negative. Only certain things in life are a guarantee, and definitive, but no one should be forced to deal with anyone treating them unkind because we all deserve respect and kindness. I am sharing this quote with y’all today to serve as a reminder that we can decide who we allow to remain in our lives, and we can decide who we do not allow in our life.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I shared and that you found the quote helpful in your daily life! The weekend will be arriving soon, and I hope you can enjoy it to the fullest. I look forward to reading your comments, and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

MS Kryptonite

Happy Midweek and I hope you have had a good week so far😊! Thankfully, we have made it through the first half of this week, and I would like to believe the second half of the week will be easier. I am sure everyone is looking forward to the week, and next week there is a holiday, so it will be a shorter week, which honestly always feels longer to me. It would have been better if Monday was going to be the holiday, but it is what it is, and I will not complain! We do not have any plans for the 4th of July, but I will say our poor cats will be terrified because people will be setting off fireworks and they hate every second of it☹. I am sure they will be hiding under the bed until it all ends.

Something I want to talk about in this post is how much heat is the enemy for anyone that is living with Multiple Sclerosis. The heat can cause numerous issues, and each person will experience the heat differently. Any MS symptom can become worse in the heat and trigger newer and unfamiliar symptoms. The symptoms may include numbness in the extremities, fatigue, blurred vision, tremors, weakness, and cognitive issues. These symptoms depending on the individual can range anywhere from annoying to debilitating.

I can speak for myself, but I am sure many others that living with Multiple Sclerosis may agree about how much heat is like our kryptonite. I live in a southern state in the United State which seems like the weather is too warm for about nine to ten months out of the year. Recently, another blogger who was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis had a suggestion regarding a neck fan that she purchased on Amazon. I had never heard of something like this before, but after her recommendation decided to purchase one, and mine will be arriving today at some point. With that said, I also want to recommend for anyone interested in ways to deal with Multiple Sclerosis to check out her site at https://calmwithkari.com/. Also the neck fan on Amazon that I purchased https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Operated-Rechargeable-Bladeless-Headphone/dp/B0BK8FS5ZG/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1EIS65IUG6VQZ&keywords=neck+fan+purple&qid=1687911304&s=home-garden&sprefix=neck+fan+purple%2Cgarden%2C119&sr=1-4, but there are many others available.

As soon as I try out the neck fan, I will share my thoughts with you, and you can decide for yourself if it is something you are interested in trying. Of course, I had to get the purple neck fan because it is my FAVORITE color! Now that summer is in full force, it will only continue to get hotter until Autumn. There is no need to suffer when there are options to avoid the burden of the heat. I know the weather will change at different times depending on where you are living, but as I said in the south where I live that might not be until November.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope the information that I shared was helpful for you and you have a wonderful day! I look forward to reading your comments, and I will respond as quickly as I can. I do sincerely hope you check out the blogger’s site I suggested because she is sharing some amazing, and helpful information. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Tranquil Tuesday

What does Tuesday mean? This means that we survived another Monday! How has your week been so far? Yes, I know it has only been one day, but at least we are getting closer to the weekend! I know many people do not care much for Monday, but they are not that bad if you keep things in perspective. Each day should be seen as a blessing because it means we are still alive and here to keep moving through this life. Of course, nothing in life is a guarantee, but we can make the most of it and not give up. I think it is important to appreciate each day, and each person in our lives because we do not know what life has in store for us.

Today, I want to help add calmness and peacefulness to your lives. It is easy to get lost in the chaos and forget what is meaningful and important in our lives. I know some situations can be challenging to smile through, but does it not make you feel happier and more at peace when you see someone else smile? Each smile can be contagious, and if we could spread something that offers so much happiness, would that not be better than the alternative? Once you start smiling, you will end up being happier, and it is not that difficult if you put forth an effort!

I have been thinking a lot lately, and that can be scary because my mind will run into overdrive. I think about my late grandfather and if he would be proud of the person that I have become. I think about our cat, Chloe, whom we had for almost 13 years, who passed away on my lap. I think about one of our other cats, Lexi, who I had stayed up with all night and still went to work the following day because she had been sick, but she passed away before I could make it home from work. I think about my husband’s late grandparents, who were two of the most loving and amazing people in the world. I wonder if there will come a day when we will all be reunited or if that is just a fairytale. Life is fragile and often taken for granted, but we should try to eliminate this aspect of life and appreciate everything more each day!

Thank you for visiting my site today! I know I got a little carried away in the previous paragraph, but at least I warned you that it is never a good thing when my mind drives too deep into my thoughts! I hope that you enjoyed what I have shared and that I provided you with some peace in this chaotic world. I would love to read your comments, and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Welcome back to Monday! Each new week has many new opportunities available to all of us. Hopefully, you were able to enjoy the weekend, and you are ready to tackle this week with strength and determination! Is there anything you know is going to happen this week you are looking forward to? My husband and I are trying to plan a beach vacation. Anyone that knows me, knows the beach is my happy place, and I have missed out on this for too many years! It does not matter where the beach is because all of them can make me happy!

It is never easy to let go of the weekend because they are always too short, but a new week can be exciting! Who knows what amazing things can happen? We will never know until we embrace the week. I hope you enjoy the quote I am sharing with y’all today, and that you can feel the meaning deep in your soul. It sounds a little clique, but money cannot buy happiness, and some of the wealthiest people in the world are the most unhappy. Wisdom comes with years of good and bad experiences! In my opinion, it does not take much effort to be kind, but what this quote says is very true! The world is full of pain, but it does not have to be, and we can learn ways to be kind to everyone!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope your week is great and only gets better with each day that passes. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and you found the meaning of the quote to be powerful. I look forward to reading your comments, and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Neuropathy Misery

As most of you know, I have had Multiple Sclerosis for two very long decades. Is it challenging? Of course, it is but I also made a promise to my late grandfather and myself when I was diagnosed that I would NEVER allow it to defeat me, and I am going to keep that promise. With Multiple Sclerosis comes many unseen and unpredictable issues and I have dealt with most of them the best ways I can. I have found no matter how awful this disease makes me feel, it could always be worse, and I am thankful it has not gotten too terrible to manage my way through.

I have mentioned how annoying neuropathy can be, but over the weekend this issue occurred uniquely. Out of nowhere, my left leg started hurting and cramping, but when something similar happened before, I would just stand up and put pressure on my leg. Unfortunately, when I tried this over the weekend, the strength in my leg gave out on me, and if I was not alert, I would have fallen. I guess it is a good thing that I have always had good balance or luck. Who knows, but I am glad I did not have a fall.

Over the decades, I have experienced many challenges with this disease. There is not one good thing about Multiple Sclerosis, and if I am being honest, I hate this disease. When I was first diagnosed, I thought I must have done something wrong in life, and this was my punishment. Of course, I could not imagine doing something terrible enough to be forced to deal with a debilitating disease that does not have a cure. Considering I was so young when I was diagnosed, I would chalk these thoughts up to immaturity because I do not think this disease is a punishment any longer. I now view living with Multiple Sclerosis as a way to help and connect with others.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site today. The reason I decided to share this information is that we all face challenges in life, and it is important to remember no matter what we may face, there is always someone else going through something worse. It is also important to try to help build others up and not tear them down. We should always offer our help and support to others because someday, this is the same support and help we might need. I hope you enjoyed this post, and I look forward to reading your comments. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Love Is Love

What does pure love mean to you? Do you think there are any reasons why people should feel they need to conform to society, and should not be free to love who they love? While we are still in Pride Awareness Month, I want to share more of my thoughts about this. Of course, you are free to have your views and opinions, but mine are very liberal and equal. I believe people are born the way they are, regardless of what that might be. No person is going to wake up one day and decide they are gay, bisexual, transgender, or anything else people seem to think is okay to judge. No one is going to just make this type of decision because they know they will be judged, discriminated against, or even worse.

What gives someone the right to tell another human being that the way they are living is wrong? The people that feel that it is their right to judge another human for loving someone may not understand, but they do not have to. Unfortunately, most of the people that are being judgmental could be doing things that are unethical and wrong, so why are they so quick to pass judgment? Anyone that is loving another person is not causing anyone harm and they are not doing anything wrong. They are just living their life in a different way than others, and why is that wrong? I will never understand why there is so much hate towards someone just because of who they love.

I do not care who someone loves if they are loving. This world is too full of hate, and there is no reason for it. I might be wrong, but I think anyone that hates because of who another person loves is just scared of what they do not understand. If only we could try understanding things better or at least admit we do not have to understand because it is not something that is harmful. What other reasons could there be to hate when there is love involved? I have friends and family that are part of the LGBTQIA community, and they are good and loving people. I am proud of these people for not conforming to what our society says they should be!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope your weekend has been filled with things that bring you joy, and you were able to recuperate from the previous week because tomorrow a new week will begin. You do not have to agree with what I have shared in this post, but I would hope you could be respectful with any comments you make. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Let It Go Friday

Happy Friday, y’all! I hope you have had a good week, and that you are looking forward to the weekend! I am sure most of you will agree with me that Fridays are one of the best and most anticipated days of the week. Of course, that can make for a long week, but once it has arrived it is a great and freeing feeling😊! This week has probably felt a little longer to me because I am dealing with getting an appointment scheduled that I am not looking forward to, but I am trying to be optimistic. Yes, I might be a little scared of the appointment that I have scheduled, but it does not mean I am going to get any bad news because I am choosing to believe that everything is going to be okay! It is all a matter of perspective!

I always think that Friday is a perfect day to let go of any negative feelings and start the weekend with a fresh and positive frame of mind! One thing that makes me so upset and frustrated is when people in our lives only pay attention or act like they care when something negative happens. It does not make sense to me because why not be part of someone’s life all the time, which means during good and bad times, not just the bad? I guess this is why I decided to share the quote that I am sharing with you today. When you love someone, and I mean truly love someone, you want to be there for them through anything they go through! I decided a long time ago that anyone in my life that is not part of my life through everything, does not need to be part of it at all! It was not easy, but I think after a while, it is their loss and not mine!

We have finally made it to the end of the week, and now we can enjoy the weekend. Yes, I do know the weekends are short, but at least we have one that we can enjoy. It is not necessary to dwell on how short the weekends are but to find ways to do what we enjoy the most. Life is short, and we should make the most of it while we are still here. Life is fragile, and nothing is guaranteed. I believe that it is a waste of time to worry about what might happen, but instead, focus on all the good in our lives😊!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and that the quote resonated with you. It is not easy, but one thing that I am slowly learning in life is we must make our needs and wants a priority, and after that, we can start thinking about what other people want and need. I am a work in progress and have not mastered this lesson yet, but I am trying. I look forward to reading your comments, and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Happy Friday Eve

Happy Friday Eve, y’all! I hope you are having a good week, and you are looking forward to the weekend! I think I am always looking forward to the weekend starting on Sunday evening😊! My reason for looking forward to the weekend before the week begins has nothing to do with not enjoying my job because I have a good job and great co-workers. I just enjoy the weekend because I do not have to get up nearly as early! Unfortunately, even when I do not have to get up early, I am always up early.

Many of us probably have random doctor’s appointments, which are NEVER exciting. One of the worst things about dealing with appointments is the medical jargon and trying to understand what is going on. People who work in the medical field understand things much better than those of us not in that field, but most of them are not good at explaining things. Of course, if you read about test results online and come across something that you do not understand and decide to look it up on Google, things go from bad to worse!

Recently, I went to the OBGYN for the first time in many years. This is not the type of doctor I look forward to going to because it is a very uncomfortable type of appointment. I know it was not a good idea to postpone for as long as I did, but I do have my reasons, even though they might not be logical. Tuesday afternoon, my test results came through in my email saying they were available to view in My Chart. Much of what I read was confusing, so I decided to look up the terms. Probably one of the worst decisions ever because it was at 9:00 at night, and of course, the doctors were not in the office. I cried because in the one paragraph explaining what I did not understand, the only word I saw was “cancer”.

After I explained to my husband why I was upset, he told me not to worry, or get upset until I spoke with the doctor’s office. He also said if it was serious, I would get a call from the physician. I know he was just trying to help and make me feel better, but he is a man and does not understand. I tried putting it out of my head last night, and of course, the doctor’s office called me. Instead of giving me good news to relieve my anxiety, she told me that I was going to need further testing. Things that I was unaware of is that cancer does run in my family, on my mother’s side. So now I just must wait for another appointment.

I want to try to end this post on a positive note. After I talked to a very wise woman about my stress about the test results, she gave me some great advice, and it is something I have said to many others before. She told me to think positive thoughts and positive things will happen! It is not easy to remember things like this when you are in a landslide of stress and fear, but it is good advice. I hope you will find the quote that I am sharing helpful and that it offers you a sense of positivity!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and that you have a wonderful day. I would love the chance to read your comments, and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Inspirational Wednesday

Happy Midpoint of this week! How has your week been so far? Where I live, we are getting nothing but rain and thunderstorms. I do not mind the rain, but I would prefer it not to be this rainy when I have to work. The rain causes me to experience way more headaches/migraines than normal, and the storms have my poor cats terrified. I had one of the worst headaches/migraines that started on Monday morning and only eased up for about an hour, but the rest of the day was brutal. I even tried going to bed much earlier than normal, but I was in so much pain, I could not get comfortable enough to sleep. Out of all the pain I must endure daily, the only pain I am not able to handle is when the pain is in my head! Of course, I guess it could always be worst.

Well, enough of that kind of negative energy, and let’s think positively! We managed to get through the first half of this week, which means we are much closer to the weekend! Even though we only have a few days left of this week, I think we could all use a little inspiration, and I hope the quote that I am sharing with you today helps keep your spirits higher! As I already mentioned, where I live we are expecting more rain and storms, but I guess at least we are not in a drought. All of this rain will help the flowers grow, and they will look beautiful! I think the reason I decided to share the quote I am today is because of the nasty weather where I am. No matter what the kind of storm, they never last forever, and at the end of the day, we might see a beautiful rainbow!

Now that we are much closer to the weekend, have you thought about anything you want to do over the weekend? I am not sure if we have anything planned this weekend, but I guess there is still time to decide. The good news is, it will be the weekend, and we do not have to make any plans. Sometimes, weekends are better without anything set in stone or anything we have to do. I think the weekends are a good time to do nothing, except recover from another long week. The one thing I can say is I hope I do not experience another long-lasting headache/migraine because I would not wish them on my worst enemy.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and that you are having a wonderful week! As always, I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Welcome back, Monday! Today is the beginning of a new week, and I think the best way to view this is as a new start and one that is going to include many new opportunities. It is not always easy to say “goodbye” to the weekend, but we do this every week. Whatever we were unable to accomplish last week, which does not mean we failed but it does mean we can try again this week, and hope for the best outcomes😊! It is possible the reason some people dread Monday is that maybe they are unhappy with their job situation, but the good news is we can change that situation by looking for something that will make us happier. Thankfully, I do enjoy my job and the people I work with.

I think it is important for all of us to start the week in the best mindset possible, and we should try to be motivated for a successful week😊! The quote I am sharing with you today says everything needed for the best start to the week, or at least I believe it does. Yes, part of the reason I love this quote as much as I do is because of my love for butterflies, but it also states many very meaningful things. Unfortunately, we are living in a world right now that is full of negativity. If you watch the news, you probably already know there are too many lies being told to us. No matter who you are or who you love, we all deserve love, truth, and respect!! I do believe we will receive everything we give, so it is best if we only give positive things!

I hope you had a nice relaxing weekend, and I hope that you have a wonderful week. We should embrace the week and always hope for great things to occur. Of course, most of the time we need to work hard towards better things because they do not always just appear or fall into our laps. Strive for better things and they shall happen for us. Hard work always helps us to achieve more in life, but we must never give up. Is there anything you are expecting from this new week? Try to focus on the positive and do not dwell on anything negative.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared, and I hope it helps your week begin in a positive way. I am looking forward to reading your comments, and I will respond as quickly as possible. I hope your week is filled with everything good, and little to no stress! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!
