End Of The Weekend Thoughts

Pick-Me-Up Thursday

I know the title of this post is Pick-Me-Up Thursday, but I would rather view today as Friday Eve because it makes me feel the week is almost over. I understand that today is technically Thursday, but it makes it feel like the week is far from over and ominous. How has your week been? Is there anything you are looking forward to for the weekend? It might sound boring to most people, but the only thing I am looking forward to about the weekend is not having to get up early! Of course, I will probably still wake up early because in my mind I know I have to take care of the cats, but I hope to not be up as early as I am during the week!

Something that is very important and we must remember in this life is, we never know what another person is going through in their life, and sometimes, when people may come across as rude or distant, it is because of what they are enduring in life. Do not take things personally, but instead, try to be more understanding and compassionate. Maybe you were talking to someone at work or at the grocery store, and they acted unkind, remember, you do not know what happened to that person moments before your encounter. Most of the time, when someone behaves in a less than polite way, it has nothing to do with you, and they might just need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on.

Now that this week is almost over and the month is more than half over, I think we could all benefit from a little pick-me-up! The weeks are so long and can feel grueling, but we must try to find ways to get through them and help others do the same. I hope the quote that I am sharing today will provide you with the slightest pick-me-up and, it helps you get through the rest of this week. Believe it or not, even when you feel down and helpless, you are not alone because many others are feeling the same. We do have the power to help others get through the most challenging times, but we have to at least try!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and that it resonates with you in a positive way. Many things I write about stem either from something I went through or something someone I know has gone through and it inspired me. I am looking forward to reading your comments, and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Welcome back, Monday, I cannot say you were missed! I know most of us never look forward to the workweek starting again, but let’s try to view today as an opportunity for success! It is better to view days we dread in a positive light, instead of a negative one. We know we are never able to avoid Monday or the workweek beginning, so why should we waste time thinking negatively? Believe me, I know the weekend was way too short, but at least we were able to enjoy a few days away from work! I do hope you were able to enjoy the weekend and that you are as ready as you can be for the week to start!

I do believe we should try to begin the week with the best mindset possible! I also think it is important to not just be on Monday, but every day is kind and understanding of others. If we could smile more and frown less, listen more than we ignore, and offer compliments to others, we would be happier and so would others! I do know it can be challenging to listen to others, especially when all they are doing is complaining, but it can make a HUGE difference! Trying to do any or all of these things will not cause any harm, so it should not be too difficult!

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you found the quote I shared motivating that it carries you through today, and that your week continues to improve each day. Remember to try not to worry about the things you have no control over and only focus on what you can control. I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Kindness is the way of life

We have successfully made it through the first day of the week and I hope it was a good day for y’all. I am thankful for my job and the people I work with, especially during this slow time of year. It can be easy to get discouraged in this life, but it is wonderful to have family, friends, and co-workers to make it a little easier to tolerate. Even though work has been rather slow, I try to help my co-workers because I value them and want to help them keep things on track, and so they do not feel overwhelmed. It can be exhausting when things pile up due to meetings or training, and some people have children they need to tend to. I feel like taking a little off their full plates when I can help them not get too overwhelmed and frustrated.

We never know what another person is going through in their life. Many people will put on a fake smile to hide their pain because they do not want anyone to know they are going through something complicated and mentally draining. They hide their emotional pain by acting as though their life is happy and they are not suffering silently. Others that are going through something in their personal life that is problematic and troublesome might behave negatively with an abrupt tone because they are angry and or frustrated with something personal. Even though it is not easy, we need to not take their behavior personally.

Instead of reacting negatively to someone who says something harsh or behaves rudely, we should learn to take a step back and think about what that person may be going through. If this is someone that we know and understand their personality, we should be able to figure out if something is different. It should be easy to know if their behavior is normal or out of the ordinary. There is someone that I know that can be really kind and understanding most of the time, but every once in a while her demeanor changes drastically, and not for the better. I tend to ignore the negative behavior of this person because I do know she is battling with something on a personal level. Instead of reacting in the same way she is, I do the opposite and treat her kindly.

If we react with emotions every time someone acts negatively, we would constantly be dealing with hurt feelings. Then if we speak out of hurt feelings with a negative tone and say something that makes the other person feel even worse than they did before, we will never be able to erase those hurtful words. Too many people resort to suicide when they cannot handle life anymore and we would never want our mean words to be the last words another person hears. I am not saying it will change anything, but sometimes all a person needs to hear when they are struggling are kind, supportive, compassionate, and loving words.

I think if we could all just try being nicer and more understanding of others the world might be a happier and better place to live. Maybe if we all try spreading kindness, love, compassion, and understanding, it would catch on and spread as far as and beyond negativity. I believe we can all admit that negativity can spread like wildfire, so why can kindness and love not as well? None of this should take too much energy and should be rather easy😊!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared, and my words resonated with you. Many people reading this might be battling with a medical issue, which I do understand is not easy, so it should be so easy for us to be kind to others regardless of how they behave. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

The importance of being Considerate

We are living in a chaotic and unpredictable world that has too much anger and hatred consuming the population in mass numbers. People have seemed to have forgotten how to or lost the ability to be understanding, kind, and considerate towards others, which is unfortunate and heartbreaking. We are not always going to agree on everything because we all have opinions, but we can disagree in better and more respectful ways. In this post, I am going to explain what consideration means and why it is an important practice to learn and include in our daily lives.

To be considerate means must be thoughtful or have sympathetic regard or respect and thoughtfulness for others. It is careful thoughts, normally over some time. This can be related to simply remembering the “Golden Rule”. We all know how we want to be treated and it should be easy to implement that same treatment toward others. I know everyone has an opinion, but I strongly believe it should not be difficult to be kind, understanding, and respectful to others.

There are many benefits to being considerate. This can simply mean we are being friendly and reliable, which should not be overly challenging. These behaviors can improve our reputation and invigorate aspects of culture making communities more cooperative and loving. The positive impacts can greatly affect our lives. When we are considerate it can increase levels of trust among others, which will make the people we interact with feel better and more secure.

Consideration of others can also be good for our overall health. The reason is it triggers the reward center of our brain, which elevates dopamine, a chemical that makes people feel good about themselves and their environment. The simple act of being considerate makes everyone involved feel good and happy, so it cannot be denied it is well worth it.

The reason that I am writing about this today is that I am tired of hearing about hate filling the world and think people need to wake up to reality. We are all human beings and most of us are trying to live a good life. There should never be anyone shamed for their life or the choices they have made because we all make mistakes. If we could all try to be nicer and more understanding towards others and help when we are able, the world would be a much better and happier place.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you are having a great and safe weekend. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as possible. I cannot speak for other countries, but there is too much hate in the United States and some of it stems from political views, which is crazy. The truth of the matter is no single person has the power to make the changes we think should happen, but we can rally together and try. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!
