YOU are strong enough!

The life we are living can often feel as though we are constantly dealing with an uphill battle. Or maybe a journey we are not meant to be traveling down. The moment one struggle subsides, another one appears nearly immediately. There may be many times during a week you wonder when life will get any easier, only to realize it probably is not going to. Understanding this fact does not mean you are accepting defeat, but instead, you are learning to realize your strengths and understand that you are courageous enough to handle anything.

When we know that someone else is experiencing a challenging or bumpy road and may feel like they are drowning in the turmoil of life, we can understand this feeling because we have been there before, and maybe recently. In a moment we must decide to offer advice or be a shoulder for that person to lean on because that is part of being empathetic and what humanity is supposed to mean.

As I have mentioned many times, I thought the waves of my life had come crashing down on me more furiously than I was prepared for. This tidal wave event was on the day more than twenty years ago when the doctor told me that I had Multiple Sclerosis. I was only nineteen years old and was terrified because I did not know what the rest of my life had in store for me and considering my young age, I did not want to know. I had recently uprooted my life to a new state miles away from everything I had ever known and did not know too many people. I was a nineteen-year-old girl, newly diagnosed with an incurable disease, in a new state, and in a failing relationship, I believed at that time that things were only going to get worst and would never improve.

Do you ever question all your decisions in life and wonder why things went so terribly wrong? Was it because of a bad decision that you made or just an unusual faith? Of course, I have always been the type to second guess myself and often to see that I was not as wrong as I thought I was. I do believe that in life, most of us live and learn. All the lessons learned in life, make us a better version of who we were yesterday.

I used to believe and sometimes still do believe that Multiple Sclerosis is my punishment for something I have done wrong in life. I cannot tell you what I thought I am being punished for because I cannot imagine what I did so wrong to deserve such punishment, but on days when my pain level is at its highest, it does not seem like anyone should have to endure that level of pain if they do not deserve it. What I have come to realize is, we are not being punished for anything we did wrong when we are diagnosed with an incurable disease, it is just the way life is supposed to be. I do not know why this would occur to anyone, but I do know we should do anything and everything we can to hold our heads up high and be proud of the accomplishments we have made so far in life.

I am sharing all of this with you because I want you to know and fully accept that no person deserves what they must face in life, and they are facing such hardships because they are STRONG enough to do so. Maybe they will be able to shed light on things to others when another is feeling down and like they cannot carry on. It is important to be proud of yourself because it is an accomplishment to still be here on this earth, even though you feel like life is too challenging.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and you are doing the things that bring you joy! This post is meant to encourage you and to help you realize that all of the challenges we endure in life are only making us stronger. Tuesday, a day to support others dreams

Happy Tuesday, y’all! Normally, my post would be “Tranquil Tuesday”, but I am doing something a little different today. The reason I am trying something different is that I think too many people do not realize how important it is to build others up. Of course, there are some people that are born into wealth and possibly have an easy life, but this does not mean they are happy and feel fulfilled. Normal people are not privileged and must work for everything they have in their life and many people have a job they work just as a means to pay to take care of their family and have a roof over their heads. Unfortunately, many people dread their jobs and if they had another way to make a living they would.

It takes a strong and determined person to attempt to start their own business, especially with the economy the way it is. When someone has a certain skill that allows them to make incredible products with their bare hands and talents. Small businesses need to be recognized and helped when possible. I have a family friend that has started an amazing small business that allows him to use his talents. When we have to shop for a birthday gift and do not know what to get them, I am going to encourage you to check out this website. I am certain that you would find a brilliant gift for family, friends, or even yourself. https://www.tushkacreations.com/. These would be gifts no one else has and they are very special and beautiful! I can speak with my personal views as this man has made me several pieces that are gorgeous!

I am not encouraging you to check out the website I mentioned above because I am trying to sell anything, I just want this man’s small business to be as successful as it should be. I can promise you he is an honest and good man, who will create something you can be proud to own! Many people, especially in the United States enjoy shopping and purchasing new things, so why not give a small business a chance to meet and exceed your expectations?! Plus, this man has an adorable little four legged co-worker that is precious!!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you will check our my family friend’s website as I am sure you will find something that is spectacular! I hope you are having a good week so far and it only gets better with each day that passes. I would love to read your comments on what I have shared today and I will respond to your comments as quickly as I can. This post is 100% dedicated to you B! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Hello again, Monday! It is crazy how quickly the weekends fly by because it feels like it was just Friday not too long ago. I guess this is just something that happens every week, and we should consider ourselves lucky to have another opportunity with a new week. I hope this week holds many wonderful opportunities for all of you and you will not let anyone or anything get in your way of achieving greatness! Even though the weekend did seem short, I hope you were able to enjoy it and do something for yourself. My weekend was relaxing and quiet until Sunday when I woke up with a terrible migraine that would not go away. Unfortunately, this is something I endure too much and it never gets any easier.

As we begin a new week, I feel it is important to try to do so with a motivated and good mindset. If we do not try to start the week in the best frame of mind, we cannot expect the rest of the week to be as great as it should be. Each of us has faced countless battles and various struggles, but we are still here to live another day. Our journeys will always take strength and courage we never knew we had, but one day we will realize how incredibly strong and powerful we are. We can use these qualities to keep up a good fight and this will show others what they are capable of. Each storm we survived during this life, gives us the courage we need to face all the other challenges that life has in store for us!

I know most people are not ready for another Monday, but they never fail to return and it is another chance to do great things. I tried telling my cats this😊, but they did not think it was a good idea for their Mommy to have to be glued to her work laptop and not with them. I guess it is a good thing that they sleep around 20 hours a day and when they are not sleeping, they are enjoying playing with one another. I would give anything to live the life of our cats because they have everything and more they could ever want, plus everything is handed to them and they do not have to work😊! Our cats do not understand how lucky they are because not everyone treats their pets like family!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and the quote provided you the motivation necessary to begin another week. If there is such a thing as being reincarnated, I hope I will be lucky enough to come back as a cat who has a life as mine do! Those precious little fur balls have it made😊, but I still love them more than I could ever explain! I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Happiness is a choice!

Life is short and we are not given an infinite amount of time to live our lives. I have always believed that our stories were written before we were born, and we are just here to play a part. No one knows when their life will be over, so I think it is best to live each day to the fullest because tomorrow is not promised to anyone. One thing I would like to try and continue to do is to live each day as if it were my last because the sad truth is, it could be. We are offered various choices during this life that may alter our life. There is no point wasting any of our precious time on anything or anyone that dulls our light or decreases the happiness that we all deserve.

Happiness is not an illusion, but it is a choice. Of course, life can be challenging, difficult, complicated, unfair, and overwhelming. The unpleasant times do not have to consume or dictate our lives. Overcoming and never surrendering when life gets complicated takes strength, courage, dedication, and resilience we were unaware we had because we were blinded by the negativity and struggles, we feel we are drowning in. Sometimes when so many difficulties are thrown our way, it may not be easy to keep our heads above the strong currents that are pulling us down.

Each of us is simply a perfectly imperfect human being that is doing the best we can to survive in this insane and unpredictable world.  Every choice we make in life has a consequence that we must live with and learn from. Considering happiness is a choice we can all make, it is crucial to know what brings the most happiness and what is exhausting and drains all the happiness we can feel from our hearts, minds, and souls.

Constant negativity and hate can be extremely contagious. We have all heard that misery loves company, but we can choose to not engage and remove this type of emotion from our lives. Why does it only have to be that misery loves company and why can it not be happiness and love loves company? If we are going to allow something to spread so wildly, why can this not be something positive that makes our lives and the world a better place?

Unfortunately, we all can see what is going on in the world because it is plastered all over the news daily. We have witnessed the levels of hate grossly increase, which is extremely sad. The world we live in should be easily shared as this planet was around for billions of years before humans existed. Our planet has gone through many challenges but has been able to restore and repair itself without humans and could easily do it again if we do not make positive changes. There have been many natural disasters, which I think maybe Mother Nature, trying to warn us to behave better and respect the planet more. Even after numerous warnings, humans are continuing to be selfish and disrespectful to one another and our planet.

I started this post about happiness but got into some side topics. Do you know what brings you the most happiness in life and what tries to devour your joys? This should be a simple question, but it can become a little complicated. I am not sure what part is more difficult, knowing exactly what brings happiness or what tries to destroy it because some people are more concerned with pleasing others and neglect their feelings and needs.

I am very interested to learn if you know what brings you happiness or if you are a people pleaser that is more concerned with others’ happiness or if you are somewhere in between but may lean more towards one direction. Do you know of anything or anyone that tries to destroy your happiness? Honestly, I am somewhere in between but I do lean more toward being more concerned with others being happy😊. I do know what makes me happy and am completely aware of what tries to destroy it. Considering how aware I am of things and people that try to demolish my happiness, I do my best to remove and avoid them because it is easier than confrontation. For me though, it can be the simplest things in my life that provide me with the most happiness.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared, and I look forward to reading your comments and learning what brings you happiness😊! I missed blogging for a few days because of the mini vacation for my husband’s birthday. I am hoping to be able to get back on track with my posts. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Cruel and beautiful world

This can be cruel, but also a beautiful world we are living in. Unfortunately, we will never know what demons another is battling against because people often hide them very well. This tends to be due to the negative stigma our society puts on mental health. It is terrible that so many feel they must distinguish their struggles with fake smiles, to avoid being labeled and shamed. It is not a weakness when someone admits they are struggling mentally and makes the decision to seek mental health help, but instead, I think it shows signs of strength and courage.

We need to keep in mind that we are all human and no matter how things may appear on the outside, no one in the world has a “perfect” life. Even celebrities seem to have what seems to be a perfect family, a beautiful home, and plenty of money to feed themselves, and their family and afford all the luxuries in life. No matter what amount of money a person has in their bank account, money CANNOT busy happiness.

Considering our society demonizes and stigmatizes people with mental health issues, it is causing people to commit suicide instead of admitting they are struggling. What kind of world would rather have people end their lives, instead of providing necessary help to those in crucial need? We cannot even watch the news without seeing another horrific act that has occurred in our country. There is far too much hate, narcissistic judgments, misery inflicting our lives, and unnecessary deaths daily, it is hard to see the silver lining any longer.

Celebrities many admire and children look up to have suffered from addiction, depression, and past issues conflicting with their lives, and many more that have committed suicide. The most recent was a brilliant dancer and DJ, Stephen Boss, better known as Twitch from So You Think You Can Dance, and the DJ on the Ellen DeGeneres show took his own life on Tuesday. Those who knew Twitch, including his wife who just celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary, did not know he was suffering with anything. Friends, family, and those who knew him well said he loved his family and what he was doing more than anything in the world, but now he is gone and those who loved him are left wondering why.

I do believe anyone should ever be judged or spoken negatively about because they are having troubles in life, but instead we should be trying to help people more. Why does anyone think they are better than another person that is having mental issues? Does anyone see what is going on in this world? Is there anyone that has a genuine smile or are they are just wearing a mask to hide the truth?

Thank you for visiting my site today. I wrote this post because what I see happening in the world is causing me so much sadness. I feel strongly that we should be lifting one another up and not tearing others down. We do not know what is going on in another person’s life and if we say something awful to them, it might be the last words they hear before making a terrible choice to end their lives. We can be kind and lift others up and we might end up making a HUGE difference that could save another person’s life. If you are struggling with something in life, please know that there is help and you are strong and courageous to admit the problems you are going through. I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as possible. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Welcome back, Monday. I had a dream Monday would forget to return and we had Sunday 2.0, unfortunately, that dream did not come true. The only choice we have is to tackle Monday with as much strength and motivation as possible. I hope you had a nice, safe, and relaxing weekend so that you are ready for another long week. It is never easy to begin another week, but we always manage to do it because we have an internal strength we often forget about.

As we start this week, we need a reminder of how to stay motivated. I know this is not easy, especially first thing in the morning, but I hope that I can help motivate you today! I think this quote can not only provide motivation but strength, courage, and the hope many of us have lost over the years. With everything that has occurred in the last few years, losing hope has happened to many of us. My goals have always remained to instill hope and strength in others as many of us are forced to deal with things that we do not deserve.

How was your weekend? During the past several days, maybe weeks, I have been experiencing pain in my heel and foot, which I think is something called plantar fasciitis. I have felt this before, but it was when I was on my feet all day long. Waking up with this, which is making it hard to stand is new to me. This has not just been in the mornings, but it does last all day. It is miserable for it to be painful to walk, sit, stand, or even lay down, but I guess it could be worst. Has anyone reading this dealt with this issue before and if you have, did anything help you?

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed this post and the quote I shared today. I hope your week begins great and only gets better with each passing day until the weekend is back again. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond to them as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Halfway there…

Happy Wednesday, y’all! Maybe the first part of the week was not easy, but we did survive it and the worst part is over. How has your week been so far? My week has been busy and only mildly stressful, but it is over now. I think considering we did make it through the hardest part of the week, we can make it through the last part of the week with ease. Sometimes the greatest challenges in our life make us see the strength we truly have and it can be an inspiring and encouraging feeling.

Today is our halfway moment before the weekend returns. Something that can create challenges in our week is when we are criticized. It does not have to be another person that criticizes us, sometimes this is something we do to ourselves. I know this to be true because I am hard on myself and tend to be my own worst enemy, which I understand is an awful way to be. This is the reason for the quote I am sharing today because I feel this is an important message to be read. Life is not easy and we have all endured struggles to get to where we are in life now and those struggles gave us courage, endurance, and massive levels of strength!

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you are having a good week and you are staying safe. Hopefully, the quote I shared has offered you some inspiration and reminded you how much strength and courage you have within you. I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Pick-Me-Up Thursday

Of course, it was a “short” week, but it definitely felt much longer than four days. I think one reason it has felt so long is that it has been SO darn HOT. Anyone reading this that has Multiple Sclerosis knows that the heat is our enemy. Thankfully, I hardly leave my house, but we do not have central air in our house and it gets really hot even with the window units. I have been ready for fall since April because it was already getting hot back then and now it is ridiculously hot. It is at times like this that I drink nothing but ice-cold water!

At this point in the week, I am sure we could all use a pick-me-up to help get us through the last part of the week. We all go through SO much in life and it can be painfully difficult. Sometimes it may take every ounce of energy and strength we have inside, but we will find a way to survive any challenges we must endure. We may feel broken at times, but we have so much courage and determination that we can conquer anything we decide to and do so with grace, and dignity! Never back down and try to stand up tall with pride!

As the week is coming to an end shortly, how was your week? Do you have anything planned for the weekend? My only plans for the weekend are to rest and recuperate from this past week because it was a crazy week. Although we did have a long weekend, I never slept in and feel incredibly drained today. Even though my plan is to sleep in, I know my cats will never allow this to happen. I love them with all my heart, but sometimes I want to strangle them because they wake me up every day at the same time, which is at 6:30 AM!

Thank you for stopping by my site today. I hope you have enjoyed what I shared and you found meaning in the quote. I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Something important to remember is, you are important and you deserve nothing but the BEST in life! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!
