Motivational Monday

~Monday is another day to try again~

Happy Monday y’all! When the alarm goes off on a Monday morning, it is a wake-up call for the week to begin. Maybe last week felt exhausting and draining, but this is a new week and we can forget about last week. Every Monday is a new opportunity to accomplish anything we were not able to last week and that is a wonderful way to see Monday! Of course, one of the last things I want to do is wake up to that obnoxious sounding alarm but it only lasts a few seconds, and then it is over! I think last week went a lot better getting back to my normal posting and hopefully, this week will go just as well.

Now that we are at the start of the new week and the weekend is in the review mirror, a little motivation can help us all begin the week with a positive mindset! I hope you will feel the motivation with the quote I am sharing with y’all today. Life can be extremely challenging and it can be easy to start feeling a little sad and depressed, especially with everything we have faced with COVID. It is not always others that make us feel ashamed and defeated because often we cause those emotions within our minds. I know that I am oftentimes my harshest critic and make myself feel unworthy and unintelligent. However, when I think in a logical frame of mind, none of those thoughts are at all true! I am telling y’all this to try to help you see yourself as the intelligent, strong, determined, kind, loving, and amazing person you are every day! Try being as kind to yourself as you treat others and I think you will see positive changes in your life!

Nothing in life is perfect when others suffering from natural disasters and health issues, but sometimes perfect is all in the eyes of the beholder. Everyone deals with painful issues in their way and they keep moving on. We might think that someone we think we know is living the most perfect life and we wish ours could be that same way, but what we do not know is what that person is going through. Tragedy and pain do not discriminate and it affects everyone. I think it is only the weak that get caught up in what they wish they had, but the strong are thankful for everything in their life!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and the quote provided you with enough motivation to start your week! Hopefully, each day gets even better and before you know it Friday will be here again. I am looking forward to reading what you thought about this post and I promise to respond to all comments as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Let It Go Friday

Finally, happy Friday y’all! I hope you had a wonderful week and you are looking forward to a lovely, and safe weekend! Do you have any plans for the weekend? I think it is safe to say that y’all already know that I do not have any real plans for the weekend, but I like it that way. I mean the workweek is SO long and there is always something that has to be done, so the weekend should not have anything that must be done or at least that is how I view things. My husband is off this weekend, so there is a small chance there is something we are going to do, but definitely NOT definite!

Considering the workweeks are SO long, there is always a chance something negative occurred that created some unpleasant emotions. With the weekend already being VERY short, there is NO need to allow those emotions to carry over into our weekend and it is best to just let go of them! Today is the perfect day during the week to let go of things that troubled us, caused us stress, and things we do not have to power to change the outcome! Doing this will allow our weekend to be much more carefree and enjoyable! It is finally time to say see ya later to this week and onto happier times with hopes next week will be better than this week was, not that this week was awful, but there is always room for improvement!

Whatever you have planned for this weekend, please stay as safe as possible. COVID and the awful heat where I live, I need to be careful. I have noticed the heat makes me feel terrible and extremely dizzy. I never thought I would say this, but I cannot wait for summer to end and cooler months to begin, which where I am will not be until November at the earliest. I know one of the most important things when dealing with the heat is to stay hydrated, which I do!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope the quote I shared helps you let go of unpleasant emotions and you are able to enjoy your weekend! I cannot make any promises, but I am going to try doing at least one post this weekend and hope it will be interesting to you. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Pick Me Up Thursday

I have always thought viewing Thursday as Friday eve was a little more positive, but would love to know what you think! Of course, Thursday is always going to be much closer to Friday than Monday was, which is great! I hope your week has been great and you are staying safe. Like always, my days are always busy and I prefer it to stay that way because it makes the days go much faster. I know not everyone likes their workdays to be busy, but everyone has their reasons. Do you like for your workday to be busy or slow? I am just curious because I only know my husband likes his worknights to be slow and it does not make sense to me.

So much goes on throughout the week and sometimes things make it harder to tolerate issues that are even a little annoying. I think that by Thursday or Friday eve, we all need a little pick-me-up to help get us through the last day of the long week! Things are always going to get in our way, but it is so important that we never allow those roadblocks to getting in the way of what our destiny holds. No matter what anyone else says, we all have the power to do remarkable and amazing things! All of us face different challenges in life, whether it be health, family, employment, or any other issue we fall into and we find a way to make it through them. Personally, I think dealing with any type of hardship with strength shows pure determination, resilience, and a sense of perseverance! Even though I might have just rambled on, I would love to know what you think and promise to respond to your comments as quickly as I possibly can!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site today. I hope your week is going well and you are trying to do what makes you the happiest. I know I always mention staying safe with COVID, so I hope you are doing that. I do not want to continue saying the same thing in every post because I am sure that gets a little obnoxious, but I hope you know I do it because I care about you and your wellbeing! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Inspirational Wednesday

The good news about today is, we are halfway through the week and that is much closer to the weekend! How has your week been so far? Even though I am sure you are looking forward to the weekend, I hope you are having a wonderful week. Wednesday is one of the best days in the week because it means we have already made it through the first half of the week and there is not much left. I think it is best to look at things on the bright side because it could always be worse, heck it could be Monday!

Even though we are closer to the weekend, we do still have a couple of days in the week left and might need a little inspiration to push through the remaining days. The reason I decided to share this quote is that I find it inspiring to not give up on my dreams. There are many things I want to accomplish in my lifetime, but sometimes get discouraged. The bad part of that is, I am the one putting the discouraging thoughts in my head. I think there are times when we can be our own worst enemy because we are often more critical of ourselves than anyone else is. The lesson in that is we must learn to believe and love ourselves. I mean seriously, who can believe in us if we are not able to believe in our abilities?

I know not everyone agrees with me about how serious COVID is or how important it is to wear masks and get vaccinated, but I feel the science behind this is urgent. Some people might think that wearing a mask and getting vaccinated is not needed because they might feel the virus is not true and does not help. With that said, I would like to ask anyone that does not think this is important if they think it is important to wear a seatbelt when they drive their cars. Wearing a seatbelt reduces the risks of death, just like wearing a mask and getting vaccinated may reduce the risk of death! As of now, there have already been over 620,000 death in the United States because of COVID. I think and maybe I am wrong, but these deaths could have been avoided!

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you found the quote I shared inspiring and it helps you get through the rest of the week. I do look forward to reading your comments, which I will respond to as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Tranquil Tuesday

We have made it through one day of this week so far, so we are that much closer to another weekend not that I am already counting down! Even though the days sometimes go by slowly, especially the workdays this year feels like it is flying by. It is hard to believe we are already more than halfway through this year. It is also surprising that my husband and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary very soon. I guess it is true that time does fly by when you are having fun.

Everyone lives their life in a way that makes them the happiest and no one can say how another person finds happiness is wrong because we are all unique. The best thing we can do for ourselves and those in our life is to never give up on what brings us the most joy, no matter what anyone else says. I think the experiences we encounter in our life can shape who we are and provide us with different forms of strengths that enable us to survive the hardest times. Can you think of one experience you have faced in life that was extremely difficult and then what you gained from the experience? I can think of several and they all made me the strong and resilient person I am today. Who knows if I would be the person I am today if I never encountered the challenging experiences I have had in my life?

How has your week been so far? I know it has only been one day this week so far, but so much can happen in a single day. I hope you can stay as stress-free as possible and safe. One thing I have tried training my mind on is most things that cause me to feel stressed are often not worth it. Most things or at least some things are out of our control and no matter how upset or stressed we feel are not going to change the outcome, so what is the point in the added stress? This is the only way I can find that helps me to stress less. Of course, this will not work for every situation but may help with some issues.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared today and I am looking forward to reading your amazing comments, which I promise to respond to as quickly as I can. I hope you are having a nice start to the week and you are doing what is needed to stay safe. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

This week was never something that was promised to any of us, but we can begin this week and we all should try doing something meaningful with it. I think it is in the best interest that everyone hold themselves accountable for the choices we have made and will make in the future. I also feel strongly that others that are in our lives also take accountability for their decisions and accept responsibility. Of course, we are only in control of our thoughts and actions, but we might be able to help others we know come to a better understanding and guide them through hard times they might encounter.

One of my goals in life is to live this life to the fullest, which means to stand true to my beliefs, dreams, promises I have made to others, and to never stop trying to reach my full protentional. This is the reason I am sharing this quote with y’all today. We are only given one chance in this life, so we all must continue trying and never give up. Of course, we will all run into setbacks and struggles, but we are strong enough to deal with anything cards that life has dealt us. Everyone makes mistakes, but it takes the strong to learn from those mistakes and learn from our experiences.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope what I have shared provided you with the motivation needed to start this week with a positive and determined mind. This life was never meant to be easy and we will all face different challenges, but it takes the strongest of us to help others as much as we can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

COVID, Masks, and Vaccines!

I am sure everyone is as tired of hearing about the virus, the variants that came to fruition from the virus, and the vaccines that have been available for several months, but this continues to be a massive issue in the United States. Neither the virus nor the vaccines are a political statement. COVID-19 and the vaccines are not Republican or Democrat, and they do not discriminate. The virus that has spread throughout the world does not care what the color of someone’s skin is, who they worship or love, their ethnicity, where someone lives or is from, their age, or anything else, and has already killed over four million people worldwide. Unfortunately, these numbers will only continue to rise until everyone does what is necessary to end COVID!

The crazy things I have heard people say recently are they will not get the vaccine for religious reasons or think the vaccine should be a personal decision and not mandatory, they cannot find the time to get the vaccine, and masks are taking away their freedom. None of these illogical thoughts make any sense to me. For starters, masks are NOT taking away anyone’s freedom but are saving lives. Also, the vaccine is completely FREE, and it does not take long to get the shots, so 15-20 minutes is worth it to keep living.

There are very few religions that are opposed to vaccinations. The reason why some religions are opposed to vaccinations is due to things the vaccines are made from, but the COVID vaccine is not made of any animal-based ingredients. Christian scientists tend to turn down vaccines because they have a belief in the healing through prayers, which means they believe prayers can have the ability to cure diseases and illnesses. Unfortunately, no amounts of prayers are stopping COVID from taking a person’s life.

The Dutch Reformed Church does not have an official standpoint on the COVID vaccine, but many of the members are opting out of the vaccination. These people believe that vaccines will interfere with their relationship with God by making them less dependent.

I was very apprehensive about getting the COVID vaccine, but it was out of fear of possible interactions with the Gilenya I take for Multiple Sclerosis. I remember years ago when the flu vaccine was available and was a live vaccine and frowned upon with Gilenya so I never got the vaccine and luckily never got the flu. Despite what was said at the beginning of the pandemic, COVID is a lot different than the normal flu and a lot more deadly. Of course, with the COVID vaccine being new there was not a lot of information available and even the manufacture of the Gilenya was unsure if the vaccine was safe for me to get. I did not wait for approval from my neurologist or the manufacture to get the vaccine and thankfully, it did not have any of the interactions I was fearful of.  Unfortunately, six months after getting the vaccine, my bloodwork showed that I did not have any antibodies for COVID so masks are a must for me, but I still do not regret getting the vaccine because maybe the vaccine was protecting me in the beginning. Plus, those that are fully vaccinated and got COVID had less severe symptoms.

No vaccine is 100% effective, but the Pfizer vaccine for COVID is 95% effective. Moderna is 94.1% effective and Johnson & Johnson is 85% effective with COVID. I would say that even an 85% effectiveness is better than nothing at all. The vaccine may keep people protected for a few months and it loses it protection meaning another vaccine may be necessary. With so many people continuing to decline getting vaccinated, the virus is only going to continue to mutate creating more variants that are going to be even more deadly and possibly resilient to the vaccine.

I do think one of the major issues with the virus and the vaccine is ALL the misinformation and lies that are being spread on social media and from ignorant people. This is dangerous for the health of all humans and needs to end. Masks will NOT cause health issues but will prevent the spread of COVID and end more variants from starting. Wearing a mask will NOT only keep you safe but keep others safe if you are infected with COVID because you are asymptomatic.

With children going back to school, there have been a lot more kids and teachers getting sick with COVID and ending up in the hospital. Thankfully, my husband and I do not have two-legged children because I do not think I would feel comfortable with my child going to school. Many parents are fighting requirements for their children to wear a mask, but then do not want their child having remote learning. I think it is crucial to keep the children and teachers as safe as possible. I think what some parents do not realize is, their child follows their example. The parents that are causing violence in meetings with the staff and other parents at their school and acting with no regards to human life are setting the worst example. The truth is, children are our future and when they are only seeing bad behavior, what does that do to the future of our country? The children are not able to fully understand the seriousness of this virus and do not comprehend the importance of masks and social distancing. Children must be at least 12 to get the vaccine, so those under 12 are at a higher risk.

I do understand that there is no way to change someone’s mind about getting vaccinated, but I can at least try providing these people with a logical explanation about the importance. The only person I can control is myself, so I will continue wearing a mask and will either get a third shot of the COVID vaccine or a booster when it is available. The one thing we all can work together on is ending the spread and further variants of this extremely serious virus. Part of me thinks that our new normal is wearing masks anytime we leave our homes and disinfecting anything that enters our homes. It might not be a great way to live, but it will provide some sort of comfort and safety.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I do hope the information I have shared has enlightened you to the gravity of this virus. I will urge you to get vaccinated if you have not already so we can END COVID sooner rather than later. I care about human life, which is why I will continue to do what is necessary to keep everyone safe and alive. I am looking forward to reading what your thoughts are on the information I provided in this post and promise to respond to all comments as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Pick Me Up Thursday

Happy Friday Eve y’all! How has your week been? Are you as ready for the weekend as I am? This week has been pretty busy and exhausting, but I do like it when it is busy at work. No matter how much I like it when it is busy at work, I need a break so I can just kick back and relax. Of course, when I am busy at work I feel like I do not have the time or energy to do simple things I enjoy. Even being exhausted, one thing outside of work I was able to do is to add some artificial flowers and plants to both our house and home office. I love having these in the home office because it brightens the area up and makes me happy!

Now that we have made it through the majority of the week and only have one day left, I think we could all use a little pick me up, or at least I know I could. I think the quote I am sharing with y’all today shares encouragement, inspiration, and love which we could all use a lot more of! I find it sad that the world is still dealing with mass amounts of hatred and the others that are refusing to get vaccinated, which I would almost consider part of the hatred. If people can love themselves, their families, friends, and others enough to want to keep everyone safe, there is no reason to avoid getting the vaccine. I could understand if it was going to cost hundreds of dollars to get the vaccine, but it is FREE!

I am not sure when, but it is going to happen sooner rather than later, but my husband and I are going to get the third vaccine. Considering I have a weak immune system I have heard the CDC is recommending that I do get the third vaccine. With my husband being around me, he needs it as well to keep me safe. My PTO from work has already been approved for my birthday and our anniversary, which we are hoping to be able to do something special. I am not sure what this is going to be like yet, but hope it can be a visit to my happiest place, the beach!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed the quote that I shared and I look forward to reading what you thought. I promise to respond to all comments as quickly as I can. I am also interested to know how your week was and if you have anything planned for the weekend. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Tranquil Tuesday

We made it through one day of the week already and only have four to go before the weekend returns! How was your Monday this week? My day was pretty busy, but nothing I cannot handle. I think y’all know this, but I love it when my workday is busy because it makes the day go by so much faster. Unfortunately, rainy days do cause me to experience more headaches and pain, which is why the weekend was painful for me. The one thing I will never be able to say is the area I live in is experiencing a drought because it rains way too often for that to happen. The great thing about all of us is, we are strong and can handle anything life throws our way!

Of course, our days might come with stress and that is not always easy to deal with. I am trying to learn how to handle stress differently and better. I am slowly learning that sometimes we just need to let go of the stress we are feeling and know that everything is going to happen the way it is supposed to. The reason I decided to use this quote today is that the moment we learn how to fight stress is when we will be able to live a better and healthier life. I am sure you have heard many times before that stress is a silent killer, well if you also have MS or any other autoimmune disorder or health issue, stress aggravates this and makes life even more difficult than it has to be. Life is already challenging enough and stress can be avoided.

Stress is a common issue with so many people. Do you have certain ways that help you deal with stress and if so, what helps you most? I have learned that if I view a situation as something I have no power to change, there is no point worrying about it. Some battles in life that are worth the fight and then many that are not worth our precious time. Maybe that is a negative way to view things, but in my mind it makes sense. I use this way of thinking to avoid arguments as well and it works. Most things are not worth the time it takes to stress about it because stress will not fix the problem, but it will create more problems in the long run. We might feel stressed about health, money, family, or other issue, but does that do anything positive?

Thank you for visiting my site today! I always appreciate your continued support and great thoughts. I sincerely hope your week is going well and you are continuing to stay safe. During the continued troubled times for the pandemic and other issues going on around the world, we need to stay positive, show compassion for others, and try the best we can to encourage our friends and families, especially when talking about the vaccine. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Happy Monday y’all! Is it just me or does it seem like the weekend was really short? Obviously, I know the weekends are only two days, but sometimes it seems like only one day. I guess my weekend felt even shorter because I pretty much had a headache all weekend and it was probably because of the rain. How was your weekend? I hope whatever you did, you stayed safe!

Here we are again beginning another week. Mondays are never easy, but today is a blessing and something to be thankful for! I hope you will find motivation in the quote I am sharing with y’all today. I found this quote motivating and inspiring because we are all facing so many challenges each day. I do believe we are all strong enough to handle this, but that does not make it easier to tolerate.

Of course, COVID is still terrorizing the world and it will never make sense to me why many are still so against the vaccine. I have heard many people and some that I thought were intelligent argue that vaccines are a personal choice, which if the virus was not killing people I would agree with. I do believe that we all have the right to decide, but when our decisions affect others in a negative and deadly way, I think choices need to be rational and not selfish! I am still doing the best I can to help other understand the importance of getting vaccinated and I plan to get a third vaccine to ensure my safety and others safety as well. This needs to be a group effort and together we can make a difference with this pandemic!

Thank you for taking the time to visiting my site today. This post might not be as good as previous post, but it is because of the headache that will not go away. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and found it to be motivating. I would love to know what you thought of this post and I promise to respond to your comments as soon as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!
