Let It Go Friday

It’s The Day We’ve All Been Waiting For! Friday Is Here!!!

Happy Friday y’all! It’s been a long week, but now we have the weekend to be thankful for! Do y’all have any plans for your weekend? Now that the week is over it is time to leave it behind us and enjoy life. The weeks are long and the weekends are short, so live it up, but be safe. I am sure y’all will be shocked to know it, but I do not have any plans and like it that way. I do get tired of being in the house, all day every day, but it just isn’t safe anywhere else.

Anything that has weighed you down during this week, should be let go of so you can enjoy your weekend! Considering the weekends are SO short, we need to do what we can be able to enjoy every minute of it. I know there are many things I need to let go of because some people can be draining and exhausting. I hope the quote I am sharing with y’all will help you let go of any and all negative emotions!

I know I must start irritating y’all because I say at least once in each post to be safe and do what is necessary to protect yourself and your family from COVID-19. It doesn’t matter what they say on the news or how some people try to downplay it, this virus is VERY serious and is killing people daily. It is rather easy to stay safe, you just need to follow the advice from the experts.

Thank y’all for stopping by my site today. I hope you enjoy the quote and I would love to hear from y’all! I hope you have a great day and a restful and safe weekend! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and many positive vibes!

Pick Me Up Thursday

Friday Eve Sounds Much Better Than Thursday!

Hello, how has your week been? Are you as happy as I am the weekend is almost here? When it was Tuesday I thought it felt like Thursday, so that is how my week went. I am thrilled we are so close to the weekend and I will not have to wake up early and deal with the insanity of work! The good thing is I do not have to leave the house and I never have to see people, especially the ones that are unpleasant to deal with!

As we approach the weekend and only have one day left in the week, I think we could all use a little pick me up! I hope you will find the quote I am sharing with y’all as a good pick me up and it will help you just through until tomorrow at 5:00! There are always going to be those challenging days we must face, but one thing we are all good at is never giving up because we are incredibly strong individuals! I would really love the opportunity to read your amazing thoughts on this quote and I do promise to respond as quickly as I possibly can!

Thank you so much for stopping by my site today! I hope you are feeling well and you have a great day. As always, please just stay safe because no one is immune to COVID-19 and I do not want anything to happen to y’all! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and many positive vibes!

Inspirational Wednesday!

We are halfway there!

Happy Wednesday! How has your week been so far? I hope you are having a great week and you are staying safe! For those of you that read my post from yesterday, you already know my week has been long and frustrating. I am making some changes though so that the same old things will not bother me anywhere near as much as I have let them previously. It is important to realize what is important in our lives and what isn’t, but also what we can change and what will never be different.

I have been thinking that I want to do more with all the amazing quotes I have found over the years. I already do Motivational Monday, Pick Me Up Thursday, and Let It Go Friday, but I want to do something on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. I have a name for Wednesday “Inspirational Wednesday” but still, need a name for Tuesday, so if you have any ideas I would love to know!

For my first ever “Inspirational Wednesday” post, I hope the fabulous quote I have will offer you some inspiration! There is so much going on around the world right now and it can be pretty scary, so I think if we can have a little more positivity and inspiration throughout the week it might help our week go by a little better. We must all remember how our mental attitude and ways we spend our time can be either beneficial to ourselves and the ones closest to us OR do the direct opposite and it cause more issues.

There have been many horrible things happening in the United States where we can’t seem to go one week without an unnecessary person being killed or critically injured by police. I thought when I was younger that the police were here to protect and serve, not kill unarmed and innocent people. Unfortunately, it seems that times have changed and not for the better. I hope that something will change with this because no one should die at the hand of someone that is “supposed” to protect! No child should ever have to see their father gunned down by police!

I hope you have a wonderful and safe day! We have almost made it through the week and only have a couple of days left until it is the weekend! I know this post had several different parts, but the part about justice is because I am so tired of seeing that another innocent person was shot and killed by a police officer. You would think after the massive riots that occurred, the police would be on their best behavior, and also with COVID-19 still being horrible things would have stopped, but it hasn’t. We need to support the people that can’t stand up for themselves and support them twice as much!

I do love reading your comments so I hope you will leave one for this post and let me know what you think! One thing I will ask y’all again is to please do what you can to stay safe, I do not want any of you to get COVID-19! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and many positive vibes!

Tuesday Requires More Energy

Only Tuesday & It Has Already Been A Painful Week Emotionally!

How is it only Tuesday? It feels like it should at least be Thursday! Many things have occurred already for me that have been both physically and mentally painful. Stress always causes additional pain, but this is ridiculous. Of course, weather can also increase my physical pain and Mother Nature can’t decide if she wants to rain or be sunny, so it has been both within minutes of each other.

I have always been the type of person that thinks of everyone and anyone else long before myself. I will not lie to you and say I am trying to fix that about me because I am not. I am trying to eliminate stress as much as I can, but that is extremely challenging for me. Sometimes it seems like stress comes in several different storms and on many different levels of severity. I am not naive enough to think I can fix other people’s issues, but I cannot help trying to alleviate some of other people’s pain and heartache. Truthfully, it does not work and I know that will never change.

With all that said there is a beautiful quote I thought would be good to share with y’all. This might help y’all if you are having a difficult or frustrating week. Or it might just make you think about someone else that might need a little support and love from someone that cares! Sometimes while it is necessary to spread the love to others, it is also important to show yourself a little love as well! I would love to read your thoughts on this quote, please!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by my site today and read what I have wrote. I hope the quote I have shared with y’all will have some meaning to you and prove you with positive feelings. I hope your week is going well so far and truly hope you are continuing to stay safe. I hope you will never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and many positive vibes!

**A Little Extra Optimism**

**Smiles & Happiness Make A Huge Difference**

While we are all still learning ways to deal with and accept what our “new normal” is, it can continue causing so many fears and stress. No one knows when or even if COVID-19 will come to an end allowing us to live comfortably and not wear a mask anytime we leave our homes. Of course, masks are suffocating and not comfortable, especially when the temperature is pushing 100 degrees outside, but a little discomfort can possibly save our lives.

In the meantime, as we are waiting for things to settle down, it is important to try remembering the positive aspects of life. So, let’s make a list of things we enjoy and some of our favorite things. It has been so long, some of us may have forgotten what it means to enjoy and favorite means. Enjoy means either to take delight or pleasure in or possess and benefit from. Favorite means preferred before all others of the same kind.

Now that we have had a little reminder, what are five things you enjoy? This can be anything you can think of, the sky is the limit! To get this started I will share my list of five things I enjoy the most.

1. Listening to music because this helps me relax and even helps my massive stress issues.

2. Of course, I enjoy writing. This is something that has always helped me to process and let go of my emotions, both positive and negative.

3. My husband probably will not appreciate me sharing this, but he will be okay. I enjoy watching General Hospital at night with my husband while we eat our dinner.

4. Even though my two sweet cats can get rather obnoxious at times, I do enjoy time with them fighting over my lap. Our older cat has an overwhelming need to sleep almost on my head every night; we actually end up sharing the pillow.

5. I enjoy quiet and drama-free evenings and weekends at home with my husband and our cats. Many people would say this is boring, but there have never been any troubles or issues caused by times like this.

We were already reminded about what favorite means, so now comes the questions! What are some of your favorite books, authors, movies, music, TV shows, places to travel, colors, meals, etc.? I guess this can be a little tricky because some favorites can go hand and hand, but we can have a little fun with it or at least I hope we can. I am going to share my five favorite types of music/musicians and my five favorite books/authors. I am hoping y’all will share some of yours as well because I think it will be fun and interesting.

Truthfully, I love most music. I am not a huge fan of country music though because it always makes me sad and that isn’t what I want when relaxing listening to music. So five of my favorite bands are the following:

1. Red Jumpsuit Apparatus because they will always hold a special place in my heart considering my husband proposed on stage with them before they sang “Your Guardian Angel”.

2. Radical Something because no matter how awful my mood is, their songs can make me smile and be calm. Their music has beach vibes, probably because they are in California!

3. Simple Plan because they have a calming, chill, and relaxing vibes. This band is from the country my husband and I have talked about moving to, Canada. Depending on the outcome of the upcoming election the move may happen sooner rather than later.

4. Taking things a little old school, but yet still current is Fall Out Boy. This is a rock band that started off playing in their garage back in Chicago Illinois before making it to the big time. My husband and I have enjoyed this band for many years now!

5. The Pretty Wreckless is an amazing rock band that took me a while to warm up to, but that was because my husband pushed them on me too much. I am a very stubborn person and when something is pushed on me too much, I will fight to hate whatever it is. This band is from NYC and has several songs that can make anyone smile because the singer is singing what most of us are thinking and feeling.

To save y’all a little time from reading too much, the only other favorites I am going to share is who my three favorite authors are and some of my favorite books by the author. My top three favorite authors are James Patterson, Nicholas Sparks, and Kelly Rimmer.

James Patterson has written many fantastic books and continues doing so to this day. I find him and his books very addictive and almost impossible to put down once you begin. Patterson’s series “The Women’s Murder Club” is one of the BEST series I have ever read. There have been 20 books released so far, with the 21st set to be released in 2021and I have read 19 of them. I had to slow down reading these books because it was torture when I finished a book and had to wait for the next one.

Another book I read by Patterson that was outside The Women’s Murder Club series was “Filthy Rich”. The incredible details he wrote in this book had me despising Jeffrey Epstein long before he was even arrested because it is a horrible and jaw-dropping story. Honestly, after reading the book I thought Patterson was supporting that disgusting and appalling perverted man causing me to not want to read another book from James Patterson. Thankfully, I later saw an interview James Patterson did and it was crystal clear he did not and never would support anyone like Epstein.

While James Patterson is an astonishing and enthralling author, Nicholas Sparks is a captivating author on a whole different level and style. Since Nicholas Sparks began his writing career in the mid- ‘90’s with his first book, “The Notebook” that was not only a best-seller but even turned into a hit movie later. He continued his incredible journey writing many other fabulous and beautiful love stories that could bring tears to anyone’s eyes. A few more of his books that were brilliant consist of Two by Two, Every Breath, The Best of Me, The Last Song, and The Choice, but there are many others that would be very worth reading!

Kelly Rimmer is a truly spectacular author from the beautiful country, Australia. I have read all seven of her books that were released in the United States and cannot wait for her to release another. Kelly has an engaging and engrossing way to keep her readers completely mesmerized. She adds an emotional twist to the stories she writes. Kelly has a natural ability to make you feel every emotion each character is feeling.

The seven books that I have read of Kelly’s were so amazing they would be worth reading a second time. The books I have read were: Unexpected, Before I Let You Go, Suspending Reality, A Mother’s Confession, Me Without You, When I Lost You, and The Secret Daughter.

First, I want to thank you for visiting my site today! I hope your weekend has started off well and you are staying safe. Weekends are our time to rest and recuperate from a long week. I hope you are enjoying this post and you will share some of your favorite things and things you enjoy because I think it will be fun to see how much a like of different we are all. I admire differences because it allows for us to learn, grow, and build relationships!

I am looking forward to reading more of your posts this weekend and learning more about you if you are able to make a comment! Whatever the rest of your weekend holds, please do everything you can to stay safe! I hope y’all never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and many positive vibes!

Pick Me Up Thursday!

Stay Safe & Enjoy Your Friday Eve!

Hello, Friday Eve! How has your week been so far? Is it just me or are the weeks feeling longer? My week hasn’t been bad, but it has felt LONG! I mean, Tuesday was like Monday all over again, but worse! Sometimes it feels like people just live their lives to complain and cause others to have a bad day. I do believe in that “kill them with kindness” thought process, but sometimes people just won’t go away no matter how nice I am! It is kind of sad that some people are that miserable with their lives.

Something that continues to blow my mind is how many people still think this virus is a hoax. Yes, numbers can lie, but science isn’t lying with saying how serious this virus is. I hope that I am wrong, but I do not think having children go back to school right now is the best idea. Children can and do get COVID-19, but they might bring it home to their parents and even grandparents. This is not safe and can cause people to unnecessarily get a deadly virus.

Okay enough negative talk, let’s find a more positive thing to think about. I always think that by today, we need a little pick me up! I have a wonderful quote from an amazing woman! In our world there has been too many finger pointing and negative ways to view people that are different from others. In my eyes, I think we are all equal and should be respected. I do not like the way leaders of the United States treats and refers to others. I also really think calling COVID-19 the Chinese virus is disrespectful and just WRONG! I do not care where a person is from, the color of a person’s skin, who the worship, or who a person loves because at least they love!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope the quote I shared with y’all today gave you the pick me up needed to get through one last day of this week. I am looking forward to reading any comments you might have and promise to respond as quickly as I can. Also, please continue to stay safe and do what is necessary! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and many positive vibes!

Motivational Monday!

Let’s Begin This Week With A Positive Outlook!

Happy Monday y’all! How was your weekend? I hope it was wonderful and safe! Honestly, I did not do much over the weekend. It was uneventful and relaxing, which is what I really needed. Last week was so long and exhausting, I do hope this week will be better for all of us. Thankfully, I did not have a migraine over the weekend and only hope to make it through this week without another that causes me intense pain. It is not possible for me to look at a computer screen with a migraine.

The start to the week is never easy because we realize the weekend is over. No matter how difficult it is to let go of the weekend and begin another long week, I know we can all handle anything and everything thrown our way. Of course, the weekend flies by and it seems like it was Friday a few minutes ago, but this week could have so many benefits and amazing opportunities to offer us!

I think y’all already know that I think starting the new week off with a motivating quote is necessary. Unfortunately, the entire world is so full of so much hate and negative emotions. None of this has solved any of the world’s problems, so we need to combat this with love, acceptance, and positivity! Maya Angelou is a powerful and very encouraging person. I value her brilliant and amazing quotes, and I hope this quote will serve you with the motivation needed to begin the week with hope, positivity, and encouragement!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you have a lovely day and you continue doing what is required to stay safe. I would also love to read you thoughts on Maya’s quote. I promise to respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and many positive vibes!
