Motivational Monday

Happy Monday, y’all! I hope you had a wonderful and safe weekend, and you are ready to tackle this week with determination and optimism. Monday mornings are not always easy, but this is the beginning of a new week that offers us a fresh start. A new week gives an opportunity to try again with things we did not accomplish last week, which I think is a great way to view another new week. This is the week of my birthday and anniversary. My husband and I have taken a few days off, but I think we have decided to not go anywhere because we have not gotten the booster shot to keep us safe from COVID. I might be a little disappointed about this, but who am I kidding I am VERY disappointed. I am trying to stay positive about this decision because I prefer to live another year then come into contact with COVID and end up in the hospital. There is always next year!

Can you believe it is almost October? I have always heard that as we age, time goes by faster, but the past two years have gone by with an accelerated speed. I guess the years going by so fast when we are living with the uncertainty of a deadly virus and other negative situations is not a bad thing. I am holding onto hope we will see an end to COVID-19 sooner than later, but there are times I think that is being overly optimistic and blind to the reality of this world. The quote I am sharing with y’all today might not be viewed as motivating, but the reason I find it motivating is because not fitting in with others while living in a world with an insane amount of hatred is a good thing. I might not fit in living where I do, but I do not want to fit in with these people.

What does this week have in store for you? I know not everything that happens during a week is planned and things will occur without notice causing us to readjust our plans. I am a very organized person and might be a bit of a control freak, so I hate when anything changes what is in my day planner. Normally, I have all appointments, meetings, goals, and work hours for me and my husband written down. There are changes that are necessary and I will adapt well to, but some changes I am resistant to. Considering we are not going anywhere to celebrate our anniversary or my birthday, I am thinking about canceling one of my PTO days but cannot seem to decide. Currently, the plan is to only work 2 days this week and be off until next Wednesday. I think saving one of my days off for a time we can go away is logical, but what do you think?

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you have enjoyed what I have shared and look forward to reading your amazing comments. I promise to respond to all comments as quickly as I can, but it will probably be after work today. I hope your week starts off great and gets better with each day until the weekend returns. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Pick-Me-Up-Thursday

Hello, Friday eve! How has your week been? I am sure you are looking forward to the weekend as much as I am! Do you have anything planned for the weekend? I do not think there is anything planned for this weekend, but next week is our 10th wedding anniversary and my birthday, so my husband and I are taking a few days off to enjoy being home with each other and not working. Of course, it will not be like previous anniversaries, but it will be safe from COVID. The way we are looking at things, there is always next year to go to the beach or anywhere else to have a little fun.

After a long and busy week, we could all use a pick-me-up, or at least I know I can. I hope you will enjoy the quote I am sharing with y’all today and that it gives you the pick-me-up needed to get you through one final day of this week. This is something that I have had to learn how to accept because I hate making mistakes. I have learned that whether mistakes happen at work or in my home life, it is the experiences we gain from mistakes that help us grow and become stronger. It has taken me a long time to understand this because I will beat myself up for making simple mistakes at work and they never damage or harm anything or anyone. I feel that the way we respond and react to mistakes makes the biggest difference and counts more than the mistake that was made.

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you have enjoyed what I have shared with you and it makes the last day of the week easier. I am so glad this week is almost over and I will have a weekend to rest up before the mini vacation next week, well time off from work and not going anywhere. I am hoping to get the house cleaned up and maybe even write a little more. I do have the essay for the writing contest to finish, submit, and then hope for the best. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Inspirational Wednesday

Happy Wednesday y’all! I hope you are having a good week, but if things are not going the way you want them to do not give up because tomorrow is another day. Things could always be worse, it could only be Monday! However, we can also look on the bright side because we are halfway through the week and much closer to the weekend! It is often necessary to find ways to look at the week optimistically to help push us through. I think we can all agree that the workweeks last so long and the weekends fly by, but we all have the choice to keep trying by changing the way our mind views things.

As we enter into Wednesday and have made it through half of the week, I am sure we can all agree a little inspiration could be beneficial to help us through the rest of the week. I hope you will find the quote I am sharing with y’all today inspiring and it helps you through the remainder of the week. The temperatures are finally not as hot as they have been, but it also has been raining a lot. Unfortunately, rain tends to cause me to feel a lot of extra pain. Even on the worst parts of the day, when my pain escalates, I know stopping will not make the pain decrease and only cause me to get less accomplished. I believe strongly in this quote because the pain I deal with daily has made me a stronger and more determined person.

No matter what issues or challenges have invaded your life, it is crucial to not let these situations overcome your goals and passions. There are times that will require a little extra effort and determination, but we all need to remember how incredibly powerful we are. There is no mountain you cannot climb and no bridge you cannot cross. I know how easy it is to get discouraged when the difficulties stack up against us, but it is during these times we need to break down that barrier trying to hold us back.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you have enjoyed what I have shared and it provided you with a little inspiration. I am looking forward to reading your fabulous comments and promise to respond to all comments as quickly as I can. Never forget how strong you are and you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Tranquil Tuesday

We have successfully made it through one day this week, which is something to be proud of. Is your week going the way you wanted it to or has something caused you to second guess yourself? I am sure we can all agree that there are those hard days and weeks when it seems almost impossible to get out of bed in the morning. Despite the hard times in life when the wonderful days are hidden beneath the darkness, it is important to understand how crucial it is to never give up on happiness and good times.

As we enter day 2 of this week, feel we need should try forgetting anything that happened yesterday that might have been negative and focus on the opportunities today may bring us. There have been many things I decided to give up on out of fears of failure, but it turns out I regret not taking a chance on what I may be capable of. The quote I am sharing today resonates deeply with me because I do believe that I do feel the guilt we may feel can drown us, but it can also light a fire in us and drive us closer towards our purpose that is deep within our hearts and souls. I have regretted not “trying” to do more to fulfill my writing dreams and plan to not let the fire in me dwindle to nothing.

I am not sure why so many people have forgotten what life is about and how to be compassionate and understanding of others. It does not matter where we live or anything else about who we are as an individual because we are all human beings. I guess the reason I mention this is because of all the people that are being disrespectful of other people and their rights to live their life how they see fit by refusing to get vaccinated. It enrages me when people use their rights to “freedom” to not get vaccinated because this has nothing to do with freedom and more to do with staying alive!

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you have enjoyed what I have shared and it resonates with something you are feeling. Of course, I am looking forward to reading your wonderful comments and I will respond as quickly as I can! I know I voice my thoughts on COVID a lot, but it is because the more people that get vaccinated, the greater our chances will be to live what used to be a normal life. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, support, comfort, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Happy Monday y’all! I hope you had a wonderful and safe weekend! Today we are beginning a new week, so whatever happened last week does not matter anymore. Whether last week was a good memory or a bad memory, it does not have to hinder our success from the week ahead. As y’all know, last week was not the best for me, but do not plan on allowing that ruin this week for me. It is all about shaking off the negative memories and replacing them with great ones or at least that is what my goal is. Nothing that took place last week or any of the negative energy from others can control what I know I am capable of because I know I am worth more than that!

I hope you will join me this week and set the tone for the week in a positive way! No one can control our thoughts and surely cannot make us feel less than what we are. We should always try holding onto our dreams and never stop until we reach them. Everything I have just written is the reason why I am sharing this quote with you today. I only hope it helps you to remember that you can achieve anything you set your mind to because you are far more powerful than you think you are and as long as you do not ever give up!

Unfortunately, the way the world is and how people are behaving can be extremely discouraging. COVID has forced most people to feel isolated and like they are not living life to the fullest. Also, with there being so much hatred consuming the hearts of many there is a loss of compassion and understanding. All of these issues are challenging, especially with those of us that treat everyone equally and are doing what is necessary to stay safe from COVID. I know I am not alone with this because I know everyone reading this takes the virus seriously and that you do not treat people in a hateful way. With most things, it takes more than one single, but the entire world to make a positive change. These are things we are battling together and we can in time win the war!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you have enjoyed what I shared and look forward to reading your amazing comments, which I will respond to as quickly as I can. I hope your Monday starts off well and each day gets even better until we reach the weekend again. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Thoughts of the past week.

I have always tried to be tolerant of other people’s “unique” personalities because I do not know what is going on in their life that causes them to be a SO unpleasant, but it has been nearly impossible this week. I know “most” people are frustrated with COVID, as we have all been dealing with this for over a year and a half. The reason I said most people is because there are still some for whatever reason that cannot comprehend the seriousness and how deadly the virus is and are still refusing to get vaccinated. Those of us who can understand these issues are feeling isolated and frustrated because this is hindering doing things we enjoy and living life.

This past week was exhausting and aggravating for me because the harder I tried to be patient with others, the more impossible it became. My supervisor was out this week due to a death in her family, so if I had questions or needed help, I had to go to one of the two other supervisors. One of these supervisors cannot admit when she is wrong about something and will consistently degrade anyone that does not agree with her. While the other supervisor is not like that, her personality or lack thereof created a tremendous amount of animosity and discouragement. I am the type that will be harder on myself than anyone else could ever be, so when someone is being short and demeaning, it makes me feel a lot worse about myself and my abilities.

It is my opinion that a manager, supervisor, team lead, or anyone else that is in charge, should be mindful and understand that their subordinates ask questions for a reason. I will admit the personalities of the two people I had to deal with during the week do not mesh well with my personality at all. I do not need anyone to treat me like I am a fragile flower that is going to fall to pieces or have kid gloves on when talking to me, but I do deserve respect. I think when a manager is being degrading, it is counterproductive and not doing good for anyone involved. I appreciate constructive criticism and will thrive in whatever it is I am doing.

Differences between people are what keeps life interesting and provides us with room to grow. I cannot imagine a world where everyone is the same and think it would think it would be monotonous. I would like to believe that I am easy to get along with and that I treat others with the same respect I desire. I can remember telling one of my co-workers and friend, that work and how other people behave is not worth our tears, but I did not listen to my advice from last week and broke down to tears several times.

Although last week was upsetting and discouraging, I would like to believe there were lessons to be learned and that they will make me stronger and more resilient in the future. I cannot say that I am not overly sensitive at times because I am, but I also can take most things with a grain of salt and keep going. Considering I am already extremely hard on myself and my worst critic, dealing with cold and demeaning people is painfully distressing.

For almost 40 years, I have put myself down and thought I was not good enough. My goal is to stop criticizing myself and start believing in myself, and the abilities I possess. I am not sure if y’all remember me talking about a writing contest I wanted to participate in a few months ago. Unfortunately, I did not because I never thought what I write is worthy enough, so I decided to not try, and I do regret that. Recently, I received another email regarding another contest. The contest is for a personal essay, which I think will be exciting and interesting. I have four topics to decide between for this contest. I am excited, nervous, concerned I will not do well, and several other emotions. I am going to start an outline for the essay over the weekend. To stay organized, I might do an outline for the four topics I am deciding between and see where it takes me. Whichever topics I do not use for the contest, I can use later for another contest.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you had a good week, and you have a fabulous, and safe weekend. I hope you enjoyed what I have written and look forward to your comments. If any of you have done a writing contest before and have any advice for me, I would love to really appreciate it. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Pick-Me-Up-Thursday

I prefer not to think of today as simply Thursday, but rather as Friday eve because it sounds better and makes me happier because I know the weekend is SO close. It has not been the best week and has been full of infuriating things which has made it challenging to not express my frustration with others in a polite manner. When I get too irritated I find I should be silent and alone so I do not say things I might regret and then have to apologize for later. Those that know me best understand what it means when I do not say anything at all about anything and tend to leave me be. The reasons I have felt this way during the week are mostly work-related but might have a lot to do with isolation and being confined to the house for WAY too long. I am sure I am not the only one that feels this way because we have all dealt with the same thing.

Now that we have almost made it through four days of this week and we have one final day to go before the weekend returns, I am sure I am not the only one that could use a little pick-me-up. I hope the quote I am sharing with y’all today will provide you the lift up that might be needed and that it will help you through one last day of this LONG week. Even though it can be challenging at times, I do think that happiness is a choice we can make and that it takes less energy to be positive than it does to be negative. I kept trying to remind myself of this during the past week because it was important to remember. No matter how demanding life gets, it can always be worse.

I am sorry that this post started slightly pessimistic, but I think it is best to be transparent with y’all. I want my blog to be positive, encouraging, uplifting, but also real and honest. We all go through exhausting and demanding times in life and I think it might help to know that you are not alone because other people understand. I am not saying I am correct about this because it is possible I am dead wrong about this but would love to know what you think. Do you find it beneficial to know when other people are having a hard week, especially if you are as well? I am not having a pity party for the bad week, but explaining myself to y’all!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site and read what I have written. I would like to encourage you to leave a comment, which I will respond to as quickly as I possibly can. I do hope you are having a good week and you are not allowing for anyone to tear you down because you do not deserve that kind of treatment. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Inspirational Wednesday

Today comes with the good news that we are halfway to the weekend. We are so close to the weekend that you can almost see it! I cannot speak for anyone else, but I am beyond ready for this week to be over because it has been a challenging, and frustrating week. Even with that said, I am thankful to be alive and have the opportunities that I do have. I am very thankful for my loving family and our adorable three cats because they bring me so much joy. Y’all already know that I love animals more than humans, but every time humans upset me and cause stress, our three cats make it better with their love and silly behaviors!

I think we can all agree that the weeks are getting longer and can be challenging to get through, which is why I think when we are halfway through the week, we all could use a little inspiration. I feel the quote I am sharing holds inspiration, motivation, and encouragement, but I hope it will resonate with you as well. It is kind of like the tortoise and the hare, if we always take HUGE steps we will run out of energy and stop moving, while if we are moving slow and steady we can accomplish much more! If we are constantly rushing through life, we might miss out on some of the most amazing things life offers us and this would be a disservice to us in the long run!

Everything that is going on in the world today breaks my heart. The pandemic has been terrifying and defeating, the hate spreading worst than wildfire, many lies being spewed daily, and so much more that it is hard to stay afloat. During devastating times, it is crucial that we try a little harder to be understanding of others and be empathic when we do not know firsthand what it is like to walk in another person’s shoes. We should not judge others in how they decide to live their life because it is how they want to live and they are entitled to do so. We do not have to agree with how another person is living and only need to be concerned with how we are living!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site and read what I have shared. You will never know how much I appreciate you and your views because you are important! I hope your week is going well and you are looking forward to the weekend as much as I am. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Tranquil Tuesday

It is Tuesday, which is a good sign because we are getting closer to the weekend. I understand we still have four days to go, but at least it is not five! How has your week started? Yesterday was not the best day for me because work was a little frustrating and I was battling with a headache. The headache was one that I can tolerate, but that does not mean it was easy especially being forced to stare at a computer screen for eight LONG hours!

Unfortunately, there is still way too much negativity and hate throughout the world, and I think we all need more peace and thoughtfulness. Would it not be a better world if only we could all get along and treat one another with respect? There is more we can accomplish if we can support each other and utilize the knowledge we gain from our life experiences. I am hopeful that with all the tragedies we have seen take place in this world, we will become even stronger and more resilient. I am one that strongly believes in being kind to others, even when they may have a nasty attitude because we never know what someone else is going through in their life.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site today. I hope the quote I shared and wrote offered you a sense of peace and encouragement. I have enjoyed reading your comments on my other posts and look forward to reading more, which I will respond to as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

We are welcoming Monday back, again. How was your weekend? I think the weekends are getting much shorter because it feels like it was just Friday yesterday. I guess all we can do is tackle this week with strength and determination! Each day needs to be viewed as an opportunity and not a nuisance. I want to believe this week is going to be better than last week and be filled with happiness! The good thing is, we can decide to be optimistic and not negative. Both negativity and optimism are contagious, so let’s spread it as much as we can!

I want us all to begin this week with a positive attitude and spread that attitude to everyone we come into contact with. I was at a store over the weekend and on the way there I was feeling rather down. When I got to this store the cashier’s incredibly positive attitude made my day so much better and that is what I want to do in my life. I hope the quote I am sharing with y’all today will be motivating and fill you with joy! I would love to know what you think of this quote and how your weekend was. They are all short, but they are a privilege we all get to enjoy!

No matter how your week begins, I hope you are doing it safely. I know how discouraging and frustrating the pandemic has been and continues to be, but this is something we are all in together. It takes more than one person doing the right thing by getting vaccinated, it takes the entire world to do that same thing. Once we are all following the advice of the professionals, we might see an end to this pandemic sooner rather than later.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you found motivation in this post and your week continues to get better with each day that passes. We can decide to be happy and see the good things in our life. It will not take much to discover more happiness than we were able to see before. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!
