Happy Friday eve! How has your week been so far? I hope everything is going well for you and the week has not caused you any unnecessary stress, but let’s be honest because stress knows no boundaries and will appear out of the blue. Monday was the first day of my class, and things are going well. I completed the first quiz and made a 100%😊! I let you in on a little secret and tell you I did not finish reading the chapter because it was about HIPPA, I am very familiar with the topic because HIPPA was a part of the class I took in January, and I worked in healthcare for many years. I have only had one virtual class and can already tell the information will be much more extensive than my previous class, but that excites me, and I am looking forward to learning as much as possible. I had no idea how I got anything yesterday, but I got an A on the first quiz because I was operating on only three hours of sleep. I used to laugh when people asked how I could function on so little sleep because I responded that I find people far less irritating when I have not had enough sleep and laugh at their ignorance😊! You would think people would be a lot more irritated on hardly any sleep, but it is easier to laugh about the stupidity. 

I have my class again tonight from 5:30 to 8:30, and the class is expected to be released early, as we did on Monday. The instructor said as the class continues and we have more information to go over, it will last until the end, but the first few classes will not. Next week, we do not have class on Monday due to Memorial Day and the following Thursday for scheduling issues with the instructors, but that allows us to either reread chapters or read. This way of thinking could be how I think, and no one else in the class will do the same. I am determined to do well in the class, pass the state exam, and get a job in the industry. I believe when we are determined enough and have self-discipline, we can accomplish anything we set our minds to. Even though a lot of the information in my current class, I am familiar from my previous class, I am doing my notes the same way because this is the way I learn and remember information is to write the information in my own words. If I do not do this, I will never remember anything. I cannot read new information, but unless I write the words, I will not retain the information. How I learn new information might not make sense to many people, but we all learn in different ways! 

I have never enjoyed viewing today as only another Thursday, but Friday eve sounds much more pleasant. Most of the week is in the past, and we survived, but we can still go through a lot of turmoil and stress, so I think today is a good day for a pick-me-up. It does not matter who you are or where you live because you are an extraordinary and strong person who can handle anything life throws your way. It is so easy to forget this because life can be challenging, and we overcome so many things it becomes like second nature, and we do not acknowledge what we have overcome. This is the reason I decided to share the quote I am sharing with you. Do you think a caterpillar knows they will change into a beautiful butterfly ahead of time? I have never lived inside a caterpillar’s mind, so I cannot say for sure, but it does happen. The caterpillar might have its unique beauty, but they transform into something spectacular and beautiful! I want to believe we are all similar to a caterpillar, and once we overcome something challenging, we transform into courageous and gorgeous butterflies!
