Good morning y’all! I hope you have had a good week and you are preparing for a fantastic weekend! Can you believe that is already August? This year has gone by so fast and I am not sure what exactly I have to show for it. I do not like sounding negative, but the weeks have not been getting any better for me, instead the weeks have just hovered around terribly LONG and mildly unpleasant.
Learning to accept what reality is and what empathy is supposed to be is often difficult to deal with. I say this because what our reality in the United States tends to be is terrifying, as we are often left to wonder what other corrupt things can possibly happen. It also seems that so many American’s have forgotten what it means to empathize with others. I know that everyone has their own struggles in life, which can be very painful, but this is why I think it is so important to try to understand things from another’s perspectives. It is hard for me to listen to what hard times someone is going through and not be able to fix things for them. It has taken me years to understand that I just
do not have the power or ability to fix the problems anyone is going through and accept it is only something they can do.
I am so thankful the weekend is upon us and maybe I can rest and recuperate from a LONG week I had. Even though my week felt long, it definitely doesn’t compare to what my sweet co-worker has dealt with. She has been dealing losing someone that she loved. The quote I am sharing with y’all today can hold various meaning to everyone and I am looking forward to reading what you think!
Thank you so much for visiting my site today! I really do love and appreciate all of the amazing and brilliant comments y’all provide! I hope your have a wonderful day and without any unnecessary stress. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love
, comfort, and many positive vibes!

Thank you so much Beckie! I have been doing the best I can to not care what others think because all I can do is be the imperfect person I am meant to be and everyone should be proud of who they are!

Alyssa, you are one of the most kindest people I know… You have such a heart of gold…
Know one is perfect, if that were the case, life would be pretty freaking boring.
Embrace all that you are. You’re an incredible person. Ignore the ignorant ones that think they’re shit don’t stink. We all sit on the same damn bowls. LOL! xoxo!

Thank you so much Beckie! I really appreciate your incredibly kinds words. I like to think we are all just perfectly imperfect! I agree with you, if we were all the same, life would be so boring! I am doing my best to ignore the ignorant jerks because with all they think they know, they know absolutely nothing and really worthless! You are so kind!! xoxox

Hey, I remember what it was like working in an office. Nonsense day in/out. I just chose to ignore. xoxo!
And, your welcome by the way. I’ve got your back!!! 😘

I am decent at ignoring the nonsense, but it still makes me so angry! People are just mean, but at least you have my back!

I am afraid empathy, like kindness and courtesy are going out of style. We nedd so m uch of it in this world and our country.
Happy Thursday Alyssa. Brace for the weekend. Enjoy.

Sadly I agree with you 100%! I just can’t understand how important things like kindness, courtesy and empathy could go out of style. It is safe to say that I have no style because these are things I can’t not change.
I hope you have a wonderful and beautiful weekend! Enjoy a little sunshine and ocean waves for me!

That is a great quote. It’s also scary because most of us put on a mask and pretend that everything in our life is fine. We don’t want others to see our imperfections so we go through life struggling to hide the real us. That’s a lot of work. It would be great if we could be true to ourselves and take off our mask. But we’re so afraid to show the world who we really are. One thing we need to keep in mind is we all have flaws but they don’t define who are. It’s how we deal with them that makes a difference. It’s knowing it’s okay to be true to ourselves and realizing we are all in this together and no one is perfect. Being kind and empathetic with one another will make this life a whole lot happier. All my Love & Support, Mom..
