Motivational Monday!

0e4599cc55a2fec5a47315b3f4beaf12Good morning and happy Monday y’all! I hope y’all had a lovely weekend and you are ready to start a new week! My weekend was pretty much non-existent because I had to work, which was very busy and frustrating. Between Friday and Sunday afternoon I don’t think I have ever been yelled at so many times for things I have absolutely NO control over and sure as hell didn’t cause! However, even after being yelled at many times, I understand why the residents were as frustrated as they were and I would have been just angry!

I am ready as ever to start this new week off great and with a positive frame of mind. I do believe that thinking of all the negative that can and probably does happen in life will only ruin any great times that occur in between. I discovered a quote that I think is really quite fabulous and I do hope you will as well! stand alone

I am the type of person that would rather stand all alone rather than join a crowd of others that believe a lot different than I do. I have my own beliefs in all aspects of life including politics, religion, life choices, how to handle difficult situations and many more and I can respect other’s thoughts. Standing alone holding onto your own beliefs isn’t easy, but it does make you a stronger person that doesn’t sell your soul just to fit in. fitting-in.jpg

First, I want to thank y’all for stopping by my site today. I do always appreciate your continued support and excellent comments. I missed my Motivational Monday post last week because I was on vacation, but it feels good to be back on track! I hope you have a wonderful start to the week and your week only gets better moving forward. Please know that no matter what I might deal with, I am always sending y’all LOTS of love ❤, comfort, and positive vibes!

  1. That is a good mindset to have. I have noticed that not many people think before yelling at someone or blaming them for what went wrong. At my job, guests like to blame me for anything bad that happens when it isn’t my fault. It isn’t even related to my job. It’s from a different department. It doesn’t take them until they receive help and got it taken care of that they finally realize it.

  2. It takes a much stronger individual to stand true to their beliefs, values and convictions. If we all just cave to the world around us what kind of world would that be. It takes people like you that are truly unique and strong minded to make positive changes in this crazy world. I’m so proud that you are true to yourself and stand up for what you believe. You don’t take the easy road and blend in with the world. You stand out and stand strong. You are truly amazing. All my Love & Support, Mom!!

    • I have always believed it is important to stand up for what you believe in, no matter what anyone else thinks. Staying true to your own thoughts isn’t easy because so many are very quick to pass judgement, but those that make a quick judgement isn’t worth thinking about. Thank you for you great comment!!

  3. I totally agree, and I think with age and with the things I’ve gone through, I’ve become a lot more assertive and independent and not needing to fit in, which is an empowering thing in itself.
I’m so sorry you had such an awful weekend and time of it at work. People really shouldn’t shout at you. The manager should be making it known that staff won’t accept abusive language or shouting from clients and customers. Sometimes people just get angry and frustrated and don’t think twice about who they’re directing it at, which is often the kind person caught in the middle with no control over the problems that have arisen. Fingers crossed this week is a better one! xxxx

    • Thank you Caz! I think when people get frustrating and angry, they just want to be heard and they end up handling it in nasty ways. For the most part I could understand their frustrations. I know in the past when I would get angry I wouldn’t act in the best of ways.. With age and issues life seems to have, I would rather let go of things than yell and scream. I think people in the states thinks it is acceptable to act with bad behaviors because they see how that idiot president acts! I hope you have a lovely week!!! xxxx
