Good morning y’all! I hope you have had a fantastic week and you are feeling well. I am very happy this week is coming to an end and the weekend is approaching us because I did not really have a weekend last week. Only having one day off and then face another week just isn’t enough. I do plan to enjoy the weekend and then have a holiday which will give an extra day of rest!
My week felt rather long and almost never ending. I am learning how to deal 
with negative and mean spirited people. My personality is a lot different than most and it is not easy to understand how people can carry so much anger with them. Even when someone is rude or just outright hateful I will do my best to smile and treat them with kindness. I guess all I can say is I do not know what that person may be going through and maybe they are struggling internally with something heartbreaking. The quote I am sharing as a pick-me-up holds so much truth and meaning. I do hope you will find a similar meaning and look forward to reading your thoughts.
I hope your Friday Eve is wonderful and everything goes nicely today! I am trying to teach myself to not stress over everything that happens because there is NO amount of stress that will change the outcomes of any situation. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love , comfort and many positive vibes!

I hope you’re having a good Thursday. Just knowing one more day left in the work week makes it a good day. People can be challenging and yes even down right mean. We are all faced with our own story but that doesn’t give us the right to treat others in a nasty mean way. Sometimes we just need to take a step back and think before we talk. That also can be difficult but so important so we don’t take out our frustrations on an innocent person. It would be such a better world if we could put the feelings of others before our own. Wishful thinking but it’s worth trying. All my Love & Support, Mom…

That’s such an empowering position to take, the epitome of ‘taking the high road’ really. I think it can help to empathise and try to see where the rude people are coming from (a bad day, problems at home, etc) even though that doesn’t excuse them, it help with trying to not let it affect you as much. The notion of ‘choosing happiness’ is a very powerful one! Have a lovely long weekend, Alyssa ♥

I am so glad for a real weekend! Last weekend I had to work Saturday, so I only had one day off. I do hope for peace this weekend! I hope you have a lovely weekend as well!!! xx

It is so difficult to deal with negative or mean-spirited people sometimes – it seems as though it takes more effort to be ornery than to be nice, so I just don’t get it Alyssa!

I am with you 100%! I agree that it takes a lot more energy to be ornery than to just be kind. I don’t understand people, but I guess we are all different and deal with difficult times our own way.
