Motivational Monday!

images (3)Good morning y’all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and you are ready to start the new week with great plans and thoughts! Monday’s are a time to start fresh and forget about all the negative that may have happened last week. Last week for me was an insane mixture of great times and also some discouraging times. It is quite amazing to me how something so delightful can happen on the same day something else extremely negative happens, but they do not always cancel each other out!

Even though I already know that Monday’s are a day to start over again, I believe a little motivation can go a long way! I find the quote I am going to share with you today very true and it hits home for me. I do hope you will be able to take something positive away from this and I look forward to reading your thoughts!forget-yesterday

I think it is extremely important to start each day with positive thoughts because anything negative that happened last week or even yesterday is in the past and we imagesshouldn’t ever dwell on them because we can’t change what happened! This is so much easier said than done, but I do try to never forget this, but sometimes fail. I spent most of my weekend thinking about something not so pleasant that occurred at work on Friday, but really what good did this do? NOTHING at all!

I hope y’all have a great day and you are feeling as good as you can. Today and everyday, do your best to keep positive and never allow anyone to dull your light because your are meant to shine bright! Please remember that I am always sending y’all LOTS of ❤love, comfort and many positive vibes!

My signature heart

❤Always, Alyssa❤

  1. I like reading your thoughts Alyssa. We should start every Monday (and each day) fresh.
Today, you may have to resolve a problem from yesterday, but that doesn’t mean the stressful
or disappointing feelings have to carry over from the previous day.

Have a beautiful and inspiring week, Alyssa. Be well.

      • Thank you so much for saying that. Even though I was knocked down, I still feel like inspiring others is important. When I made this post things were good, but the end of my day was terrible. I am trying to find the positive in what happened yesterday and feel that everything happens for a reason leaving better things ahead.

  2. I have this little ritual I do when I’m ruminating the past or get anxious about an event forthcoming (like the Super Bowl, or my wife’s interview today for a job she REALLY wants), I stop and say “Be here, now.” It’s silly, I suppose, but it works. I stop focusing on the stuff I cannot change and enjoy the moment I am in. Like, now!

  3. Sometimes it’s incredibly difficult not to dwell, rehash or constantly think about something negative that’s happened, I think we’re hardwired like that, so it takes conscious effort to move away from it. I don’t know what happened at work on Friday.. are you okay? I’m always around if you need to chat at all. Hang in there, and I really do hope things are okay lovely… xxxx

    • Thank you so much for being so wonderful and understanding. Friday wasn’t great, but Monday was far worse! I just have to keep my head up and understand that everything happens for a reason. Bad things happen to all of us, but good things will hopefully occur very soon. I appreciate your support and might have to take you up on a nice chat soon! xxx
