Happy Friday Eveš! How has your week been? I have been very preoccupied with my class, so I have not been able to do any writing. I have not written anything in a few days, so I have a few things to share. For starters, I am doing a lot of studying for my class because it is A LOT more intense and informative than my last class. I am determined to do well and pass the class and the exam to become certified. Something else I have been dealing with again is getting my medication for Multiple Sclerosis. It appears it is a monthly battle, but this month is not with the Gilenya Foundation but with my doctorās office. I explained to the doctorās office how frustrating and stressful this is monthly, which is not healthy with my illness, and this medication is a necessity and not some silly recreational medication I can do without. Nothing should have to be so difficult when dealing with the quality of your health, but maybe I missed the memo, and it is. I spent several hours on Wednesday angrier than I have been in a while and know that will not solve anything. There is a chance at one point I had smoke coming from my ears with anger. This is just one of many times I wish my previous neurologist had not retired because he was kind, logical, compassionate, and understandingā¤ļø.
Life is filled with many challenges. There will be times when we want to give up and stop fighting. Instead of surrendering to any of the challenging times, we should stand stronger and know we have what it takes to survive. We might feel defeated after several difficult times, but if we can find a reason to smile, it could change our outlook on life, and we will find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Even if we cannot discover a pot of gold, we can find something spectacular that brings much sunshine to our lives. It is easier to point out the negatives in life, but instead, we should try to find and appreciate the positive aspects of life. Think about all the things we take for granted and hold them close because they could be what makes you smile the brightest during the most challenging times in life. We all have the strength and courage to conquer anything, but we must continue fighting the war if we will ever win the battle.Ā
What has been the most challenging part of your week? What has been the best part of your week? The week is not over yet, but it will be soon. Instead of reflecting negatively on the challenging parts of your week, consider what you did to overcome the challenges. Maybe you learned something extraordinary that will help you in the future. Of course, the best parts can carry us through the rest of the week with a smileš! If confronted with a monthly issue with a medication you needed, how would you handle the situation? I tried my best to remain calm, but considering I have dealt with this every month, I was frustrated and might have lost my patience slightly. I am glad I was not face-to-face with the people because I might have lost my patience further and been more demanding. At least on the phone, I could end the call quickly. I firmly believe the world would be much better if controlled by animals because they are way more compassionate and overall nice.
Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I shared, and the quote helps lift your spirits and gives you a reason to smileš! With the weekend so close, do you have anything planned? I think my weekend will be working on my schoolwork and finding a way to memorize everything I need to know. I know rereading, writing important things down, and flashcards will help. I am learning I can focus better either early in the day or later at night because I think it is something with the bright sun that I find distracting. It could also be the many cats I am taking care of! If you have any other tips, I would love to know! I look forward to your comments and will respond as quickly as possible. Please never forget I am always sending yāall LOTS of loveā¤ļø, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibesš!
Always, Alyssa
