~Get Your Life Back~

images (1)There is no denying the fact that life is difficult. Going through hard times at some point in life is inevitable and often totally unavoidable. Everyone deals with these troubles in different ways, some might face them head- on, and others may try to downplay the hardships hoping no one sees through the pain, this tends to be the way I had them. How do you deal with troubles that literally knock the wind out of you? Those struggles that come out of nowhere and leave you with your mind spinning out of control are extremely upsetting and painful to accept. It takes time, but it can be a long road.

Recently, I went through an ordeal that was not expected at all and it left me feeling lost.life-difficult I feel like my life was torn apart and there are no honest answers as to why. Not knowing the real reason or reasons, but understanding what I was told makes accepting much more difficult because I know it is a LIE.

Right now I am doing my best to pull myself together and start over, but this has been a terrifying situation that is causing more stress than I have ever felt before. What I went through recently is what inspired this post for today and I hope it will be beneficial to you if you are ever faced with a situation that brings you down lower than you ever knew was possible.

Keeping-Your-Life-Together-When-Things-Fall-Apart15 Ways To Get Your Life Back

1.) Quit Talking to Only Complain. No one wants to hear what you think is wrong with your life. Constantly listening to someone complain about anything and everything can be draining and in the end, will do more harm than good. Dwelling on problems you are faced with will worsen depression, anxiety, and cause more unneeded stress.

2.) Don’t live life in a reactive manner, but live your life in a productive manner. Many people procrastinate by putting things off for tomorrow, possibly to get out of the extra work and or because they do not want to do anything. The problem with procrastinating is it makes it easier to forget about that thing you were putting off. Continuing to put tasks off for tomorrow will leave you with a mountain of tasks to do, which will cause stress. Something that could have been avoided if you had taken care of things, instead of pushing them off for later.

On the other hand, you can live your life in a proactive way. By being proactive you are a lot more likely to get important tasks are taken care of as soon as possible, which will result in having less weighing on your mind and in turn cause less stress.

3.) Get and stay organized. Being organized is a very important ability to possess and images (2)an essential puzzle piece to success. In order for plans to work best and efficient, staying organized is required.

There are several methods for being organized:

*Chronological Order- place information in a sequence of dates or time frames.

*Order of importance- you can go from most important to least important and vice versa.

*Compare and Contrast

*Geographical organization

*Inductive method- Arranges information by complexity and puts facts before conclusions and recommendations.

*Deductive Method- Beings with a recommendation and follows with information that supports the recommendation.

4.) Set Goals for yourself. Setting goals can pave your way to where you want to be in life. There are three types of goals:

main-qimg-eb0d2bc22d1837e47b003eb472418167  a.) Long-term goals are something you want to accomplish in the future and they take  time. This type of goal might be at over a year away.

b.) Mid-term goals are goals you want to accomplish between 3 and 5 years. This goal can help to make sense of many short-term goals we may have.

c.) Short-term goals are you want to accomplish in less than a year.

5.) Remove toxic people from your life. Toxic people are those that may belittle you, which can make it difficult to keep a positive attitude and stay focused on the goals that have been established. Toxic people tend to cause harm to another’s well-being.

6.) Put more effort into your physical health. It is often challenging to make a change and actually focus on our own health. With this change, we may need to take baby steps. You can start by limiting sugar and caffeine intake, which will improve energy levels and offers a better night’s sleep. Eliminating processed foods with large amounts of refined sugar will be beneficial as well. The combination of a healthy diet, proper sleep, and regular exercise can provide an enormous benefit 635213034708795798IMG_1227for physical and mental health.

7.) Tune in to what you are passionate about. It is important for our mental and emotional health to be able to balance work and something we enjoy and we have a passion for it.

8.) Understand & Accept yourself. This can be a long and difficult journey, but once you are on that road, it is possible. Take time to get to know yourself, what you are passionate about, and what your gifts are (you do have many gifts)! We all go through difficult and painful times, and life isn’t always going to be fair. As a matter of fact, life can be extremely unfair. The hard times we battle in life do not define who we are, but we will always remember them. Find the time to accept who you are and learn to love yourself.

9.) Quit chasing superficial happiness and validation while practicing more gratitude. Constantly chasing superficial happiness and validation is the same as a hamster running on the wheel in their cage. You will pretty much be on a continuous race, but you are not going nowhere. If you think about it, superficial happiness is not genuine and you really are feeling it the same way you would if it were meaningful. Happiness is something that is peaceful and quiet and should be enjoyed not pushed.

10.) Don’t stand by waiting, take action NOW. You will never succeed in what you want to accomplish if you do nothing. It is important to take time to plan ahead for whatever path you want to take, but also important to jump in and take ACTION! It is okay if what you planned for doesn’t go well at first, this may just be a minor setback and means you need to TRY AGAIN!

11.) Create an effective routine. Your daily routine consists of the things you already do 33. Life is not always fair. Sometimes you get a splinter sliding down a rainbow. - Terri Guillemetsdaily without having to think about them at all. Once you have a routine that works for you completed, this can take the pressure off of your mind and help you to worry less about what needs to be done.

12.) Face your fears and learn to overcome them. The first step would be to take a little time and be honest with yourself to determine what your fears are. All our fears do is create obstacles to achieving our goals. Once you know what your fears are, do not attempt to rid yourself of them, but keep moving forward inspite of those fears.

13.) Set Clear Boundaries. Declaring boundaries with people in your life is important for your own well-being. Try to not get drawn into people that only bring you down and cause stress. People that cause you additional hardships and bring absolutelygoal-einstein no benefit to your life. It isn’t selfish to be choosy about whom we allow into our lives, but it is perfectly acceptable because we are putting our own needs first.

14.) Remember what motivates you. Motivation is basically a desire or willingness to do something. There are several types of motivation, but I am only going to discuss the two main types.

a.) Intrinsic Motivation is those that are motivated with their own internal feelings of satisfaction. They have a strong desire for feelings of satisfaction, pride, and contentment that come along with reaching a goal.

b.) Extrinsic Motivation is from recognition given from external factors and other                    people. Those motivated by external factors do things for various reasons that      artworkimage-medium-21902316-7336573don’t fit in with predictable behaviors.

***Please take a moment to consider what motivates you. Are you motivated by others or your internal feelings? ***

15.) Live your life just one day at a time. Try to remember that you can’t change yesterday as that is in the past. There is nothing you can do for tomorrow because it is in the future and there, therefore, has not arrived yet. Today is the present and what you do with today is what matters. It is important to not dwell on what happened yesterday or what may happen tomorrow because you will miss out on what you have some power over, TODAY!unnamed (1)

Motivational Monday

musicHappy Monday y’all! I hope you had a nice and relaxing weekend. With all that happened last week,  I am hoping this week will be better all around. I spent my weekend writing a lot and also listening to music. There is so much great music out there and many songs speak straight to my heart and soul. Considering I was still feeling pretty awful from the week, sitting and listening to music was my peaceful solitude.

How was your weekend and are you ready to tackle another week? Monday is not only the start to a new week, it is also way to try again at anything that didn’t happen last week. insteadofletting-min

This post is going to be shorter than normal, but the quote I am sharing is powerful and I hope it will help your week start off on the right foot! I actually found it a few weeks ago, but it just fits for today and what I needed to read again!

I hope you have a wonderful day and you are feeling the best you possibly can. Please know that I am always sending y’all LOTS of    love ❤, comfort, and many      positive vibes!

Let It Go Friday!

Let the weekend beginCongratulations, we finally made it to the end of the week! How was your week? I do hope you had a wonderful week and you are feeling happiness for the weekend ahead of us. It doesn’t matter if you have BIG plans or nothing more than sleeping in and relaxing all weekend, it will be amazing! I can tell y’all now that my plans for this weekend are to try to sleep in, grocery shop while most are watching the Super Bowl on Sunday, and I very excited to be part of my first ever Blogging Party hosted by https://thoughtsnlifeblog.com/! I think this is going to be a fun way to meet more fabulous bloggers! Thank you again Bella for the invitation!

Now that we are officially at the end of a very grueling week, it is time to LET GO of any negative emotions that we may have felt during the week. Unfortunately, y’all already let go 25about the nasty migraine/headache I had early in the week, but there are other raw emotions I experienced during the week and I am very ready to let go them go because they are only causing a lot of pain! The quote I am  speaks volumes to me and I do hope it will resonates with y’all as well! As we let go of the negative in our lives, we are allowing room for more happiness and positivity into our lives. I know we all want for our lives to be full of much more joyful and splendid days, rather than hardships and pain. I mean seriously, who really wants to allow more negative into our lives when all we have to do is turn on the news if we want to see negative? The news is full of all the negative you could ever want to see!

shine and smileI do want to thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤ for visiting my site today. When I read your wonderful comments, they can warm my heart ❤ on the coldest of days. Y’all prove to me that through all the hate in this world, there are still good, caring, loving, and compassionate people still out there! Thank you for always showing the brightness in the world with the love in your hearts! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love ❤, comfort, and many positive vibes!

Pick Me Up Thursday

9d71b2f65a0b1d323b8b8cc91c5df29fHappy Friday Eve y’all! All I can say is, “What a week” and I hope your week was better than mine has been. Unfortunately, I had to miss work on Tuesday due the nastiest migraine/ headache I have ever experienced in my life. This was a type of pain I would not wish on anyone, even someone that is not the kindest of people in the world! It started while I was still at work and only continued to get worse. Thankfully, it did get better by Wednesday, but I still had a manageable headache. If I must have a headache I would definitely prefer the more manageable type!

Anyways, enough with the negative, let’s have a wonderful Friday eve with a fantastic 42ed034f7ea8cce244164a64fdd23412quote! Personally, I think the quote I am sharing with y’all today holds so much truth and it can be easy to forget. Life gets so difficult and sometimes we might say somethings we wish we hadn’t and whatever it is we said in a moment of frustration may have caused someone else emotional pain. Of course, none of us ever mean to say something hurtful to anyone, but words tend to fly out of our mouth before we can stop them. It might not be right, but it does happen to all of us and at the end of the day all we can do is apologize for whatever we said and try to do better next time around.

I want to thank you all for stopping by my site today. I hope your week has gone well images (2)until today and it only gets better, especially being so close to the weekend! My hope for y’all is you are pain-free and not going through any hard times!  I am looking forward to reading your thoughts on the quote I shared with y’all today! Please know that no matter what I am dealing with I am always sending y’all LOTS of love ❤, comfort, and many positive vibes!

What you need to know about dizziness!

Dizziness medical concept. Vector illustration. How many of you have experienced dizziness before? I have honestly been dealing with this for many years and know just how difficult it can be. It used to be difficult to explain to others because I didn’t completely understand why it was happening, so I didn’t feel I had a right to try explaining it. When I experience dizziness today, the best and most effective way to help someone understand is, to say it feels like I am trying to walk a straight line intoxicated and it isn’t working.

Over the past few days, I to have had these dizziness times more frequently. I am not sure if stop-dizziness-conceptual-illustration-open-hand-text-163893555it is stress, over-tired, the weather changing or all three of them combined. What I can say is it has been extremely frustrating and I just want it to STOP!

I think many people confuse dizziness and vertigo, whereas they are similar they are different at the same time. Dizziness is not simply a disease on its own, but a symptom of a disease. Dizziness is a feeling of being lightheaded, woozy and or unbalanced. These issues affect sensory organs, such as ears and eyes and can cause fainting. There are many causes for dizziness, which include dehydration, migraines, medications, alcohol or problem in the inner ear where balance is regulated.

download (5)Vertigo and disequilibrium both cause dizziness, but they have their differences. Vertigo is known as a spinning sensation and disequilibrium is the loss of balance. Beign Paroxymsmal Postional Vertigo (BPPV) is the most common cause of vertigo. BPPV occurs when changing positions too fast and is short-term dizziness.

Meniere’s Disease is a disease that affects the inner ear. This can cause fluid to build up in the inner ear with associated ear fullness, hearing loss, and tinnitus. This disease can trigger dizziness and vertigo.

POSSIBLE CAUSES OF DIZZINESS ARE:

  • A sudden drop in blood pressure
  • Heart muscle disease
  • The decrease in blood volume
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Anemia ( low iron)dizziness-about.jpg
  • Hypoglycemia ( low blood sugar)
  • Ear infection
  • Dehydration
  • Heatstroke
  • Excessive exercising
  • Motion Sickness
  • Dizziness can also be caused by Multiple Sclerosis, stroke, malignant tumor or another brain disorder.

types-of-dizziness-hh19DIZZINESS CAN BE FELT IN A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT SENSATIONS INCLUDING:

  • A false sense of spinning
  • Lightheartedness or feeling faint
  • Unsteadiness
  • Loss of balance
  • Feeling like you are floating or swimming

If sudden dizziness occurs alongside any of the following, it becomes a lot more URGENT to notify your doctor IMMEDIATELY:dizziness looks like

  • Head injury
  • Headache
  • Neck ache
  • High fever
  • Difficulty speaking
  • Hearing loss
  • Blurred vision
  • Numbness or tingling
  • Droopiness of the eye or mouth
  • Chest Pain
  • Ongoing vomiting

feat-how-to-get-rid-of-dizziness12 STEPS TO HELP PREVENT DIZZINESS

  1. IMMEDIATELY sit or lie down when feeling dizzy and do not get up until the dizziness has stopped. This is easy and could save you from falling because of losing balance.
  2. Utilize a cane or walker to help you with stability.
  3. When walking up or down theavoid-vertical-trip-fall-sign-s-4394 stairs, ALWAYS use the HANDRAILS! Personally, this has helped me many times when I felt a little dizzy halfway down the stairs and knew I would not make it without falling if I wasn’t holding onto something. So handrails can be your best friend that will never let you fall!
  4. Try doing activities to help improve balance.
  5. Do your best to AVOID moving or changing positions suddenly.
  6. If you experience frequent dizziness without any warnings, it might be best to AVOID driving a car.
  7. Caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco can trigger dizziness and possibly even make things worse, so try AVOIDING these substances!
  8. At a minimum try drinking 8 cups of water daily, get 7 or more hours of sleep a night and AVOID stressful situations the best you can.
  9. Eat a HEALTHY diet consisting of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins to help prevent emergencycaredizziness.
  10. If you feel a certain medication is contributing to your dizziness, talk to your doctor about changing the dosage or the medication altogether. REMEMBER, you know your body better than anyone else and should be heard by your doctor.
  11. Over the counter medications, such as Meclizine (Antivert) or an antihistamine as they both help with nausea and dizziness. These medications can cause additional drowsiness, so be sure you will not have to be active or productive after consuming these medications.
  12. Ensure to rest in a cool place and drink plenty of water if your dizziness is caused by being overheated and or dehydrated.

6 REMEDIES THAT MAY HELP WITH DIZZINESS

  1. Dehydration: Of course various things that can cause dizziness, but we need to 82a2e997ed79b4c2f819093416cbb364understand that dehydration is the most common contributor. If you are feeling tired, thirsty and urinate less while you are dizzy, you should try to drink more water and stay hydrated because it should help you!
  2. Ginger: It has been said that ginger helps relieve symptoms of motion sickness, nausea, and dizziness. There are numerous ways to consume ginger including adding to your diet, Ginger Tea or you can take ginger supplements.
  3. Vitamin C: The Meniere’s Society has suggested the consumption of Vitamin C can a1fe476a2524caab5984b0763be3bd66reduce vertigo. Just a few ideas for you regarding foods that are rich in Vitamin C: oranges, grapefruit, strawberries and bell peppers.
  4. Vitamin E: The supplements for Vitamin E may prevent coronary heart disease, support immune function, prevent inflammation, promote eye health and lower risks of cancer. Another important thing about Vitamin E is, by maintaining the elasticity in the blood vessels, it helps prevent circulation problems. A few foods that contain Vitamin D are wheat germ, seeds, nuts, kiwis and spinach.
  5. Vitamin D: I think it is pretty amazing how much Vitamin D helps us. It promotes healthy bones and teeth, supports immune, brain and nervous system health, regulates insulin levels, and supports lung function and cardiovascular health. Some foods that contain Vitamin D are fatty fish, beef liver, orange juice, cheese, and egg yolk.
  6. Iron: People that have anemia are encouraged to get more iron because their levels change. A few foods that contain iron are red meat, beans, poultry, and dark leafy greens.

I know this post is slightly longer than I normally do, especially now that I am back vertigoworking full-time, but this was important to me because of the insane dizzy spells I have been dealing with for the past few days. I would be lying to you if I said they didn’t scare the hell out of me because they do! On a plus side though, at least I haven’t fallen because my last fall was disastrous.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and you are feeling well. I also really want to thank you for taking time to not only read this long post, but to also leave great comments. The weekend definitely flew by fast, but I guess that is just how life goes! No pressures to answer this question, but do any of you deal with dizzy spells and if so how to you manage them? Pick-Me-Up Thursday!

Pick me upHello to y’all! I am sorry to be late with this post, but it has just been an insane day! I hope your week has treated you well and you are feeling the best you possibly can. As the week will be coming to an end soon, is there anything about the week that stands out to you? I am hoping that y’all have received lots of good news and much happiness!

The quote I want to share with y’all today stands out to me so much for so many reasons. I hear people talk negative about and to others daily, and this kind of behavior just is NOT right! I hope you will find this quote uplifting and encouraging!1_-cgfWQ1evxKgmxl_PdBbIQ

I am a firm believer in treating EVERYONE with respect and kindness! Speaking out-of-turn can and does hurt others. Making fun of someone that is different than yourself is kindness is freenot only shallow, but extremely weak! Teasing someone because of their appearance should NEVER be tolerated. Unfortunately, we see this hateful and juvenile behavior anytime we watch the news or read an ignorant tweet.

Thank you for visiting my site today! I always appreciate your continued support and patience as I adapt to this full-time and VERY busy job. It is honestly way more than the fast pace work, it is dealing with various different personalities that are very difficult to handle. I hope you have a wonderful day and it is stress-free! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love ❤, comfort, and many positive vibes!

Let it go Friday!

242860-Good-Morning-Happy-Friday-Flowers-And-ButterfliesGood morning y’all! It has been a very long week, but thankfully Friday is finally here! I have been waiting so patiently for today and to finally have a real weekend, not the partial weekend like I had last week. Only having one weekend day off and still having to work 40 hours during the week was just not enough. It is not easy working with people because everyone has different good personality traits and also personality flaws. It is rWBHmMxthe flaws that I have struggled with because I do my best to treat everyone with kindness and respect, but not everyone does the same. I am trying to make Friday be the day to let go of all the unpleasant behaviors I have dealt with and all the pain I have experienced throughout the week!

It has been a few weeks ago, but I had said that I was going to add positive quotes to assist with Let It Go Friday. I found a wonderful quote that I think can help let go of any negative emotions the week may have produced and of course I hope you find it helpful!motivational-quotes-let-it-go-with-inspiring-about-letting-huffpost-1

Thank you so much for visiting my site today! I always appreciate your continued kindness-1197351_1280kindness and efforts to spread good vibes! I hope you have a peaceful day and you are feeling well! The struggles from week 2!

sundayMy second week of my new job did go pretty fast, but at the same time it was extremely LONG!! On Wednesday the entire office had to go three hours further south for an “Employee Appreciation Day”. I guess this was a nice way for all of us within the company to get to know other, especially considering we just recently joined this management company. For the 7 of us in the local office, the six hour drive gave us a chance to talk much more than we can during “normal” business hours, so that was nice. I will admit there were good things about this work adventure, but there were also a few things that were just frustrating. The five guys in the office sat together playing videos on their phone and games. One of my co-workers that is a female and I chatted a lot and laughed at how much the “boys” acted like children! Our manager drove and it was a little terrifying because I think he thought he was the newest member of NASCAR.lazy sunday

The day after the long work trip, I had to make another drive for a doctor’s appointment. Thankfully the drive to my doctor’s appointment was only a 4 hours round trip instead of 8-9 hours. Two days of travelling left me feeling extremely exhausted, which only left me feeling worse than I normally do.

With my new job I do have to work on Saturday every two to three weeks. Yesterday was my first Saturday working and I was by myself. It was pretty busy which did make the day go by fast, but created a sense of exhaustion I have not felt in a while. Being on my feet for several hours did make my legs and feet hurt a lot more! Everything went rather well, but literally the last 5 minutes of my day was VERY unpleasant. As I was starting to close up the office two women came in wanting to see an DchbyyeU0AY7N9Dapartment. One of the women was incredibly aggressive and very mean when I said the office was closed for the day, but I would be happy to show them around on Monday. They had claimed they tried coming in all day, but I was never there. I calmly explained that I was the only one in the office and was sincerely sorry we kept missing each other. Right as I was about the cave in and show them an apartment, the more aggressive one started calling me ugly names, so of course I changed my mind and did not show them anything. I was getting a little nervous because they were so awful and if they did not leave when they did, I was going to call the police for my own protection. I will never understand why people think if they remain mean things will go their way.Sunday-Quote

Thankfully today I have been able to rest and not do much of anything! We all need a day like this to hopefully gain the strength needed to tackle another week! I am very behind on everything in the blogging community and I am sorry for this. Last week was so out of control busy I didn’t even get to do my “Pick-Me-Up Thursday” or “Let it go Friday”, but hopefully the upcoming week will be a little easier and I will be able to participate more.

10403353_10152369000532964_1324338832096924487_nI am currently trying to gain the energy needed to go grocery shopping, which I never enjoy even on a good day. Considering I will finally have insurance again on July 1st, I plan to at some point during the week find new doctors. I do hope one of them will be able to confirm my suspicions of being gluten-intolerant and provide me with some direction. I have already adjusted my diet to excluded gluten from what I eat, but I am still experiencing some difficulties. This situation has been very aggravating and I am beyond ready to have confirmation.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope your weekend has been great and you are feeling well. Unfortunately there are only about 8 hours left to the weekend and I hope you are able to make the most of it! Pick-Me-Up Thursday!

Not Thursday Friday EveGood morning y’all! I hope you have had a wonderful week and you are feeling well! I am so glad the weekend is almost here, but I think I say that every Thursday! Over the weekend, I plan to try teaching myself the new Editor with WordPress and definitely play catch up. There are many things I want to write about and share with y’all, but find it difficult to do during the week. Working full-time is a lot more difficult that I remember it being, but I will get there.

Of course I found a great quote that I want to share with y’all. I think it is a great pick-me-up after a long week, but I look forward to reading your thoughts!quotes-less-alone-deepak-chopra-600x411I think y’all know this about me by now, but I think everyone deserves to be treated equally and with respect. I strongly believe that we all have a beating heart and we have feelings. I am an advocate that it doesn’t matter your race, skin color, national origin, imagesreligious beliefs, sexual orientation or anything else that makes you a little different from another, respect and love ❤ should be given! I find it heartbreaking that there are others that think the opposite and if someone isn’t like them, they should be shunned and belittled.

Thank y’all for stopping by my site today and I hope you have a great day!  Just think, one more day and we get two days do rest and recuperate. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love ❤, comfort and many positive vibes!
