Pick-Me-Up-Thursday

Happy Friday eve, y’all! How has your week been? Yes, I know the short weeks can feel painfully long and people cannot seem to understand most things are not the end of the world and that life will continue to move forward. I wish people would learn to be even a little more understanding and compassionate, but it seems like that is a wish that might never come to fruition. I guess a girl can dream though😉. I do have a few people that I work with that are absolutely amazing and they can make the worst of days much brighter just by being who they are, and for that I love them!

After only a couple of days in our short week, we do still have one more to push through and I think we could all use a little pick-me-up. I love the quote from Albert Einstein I am sharing because it brings so much clarity to the world. As children, many of us had wild imaginations that we utilized, but as adults, we get so bogged down with the busyness of our daily lives we have lost the connection with our imaginations. I think if we could all try using that brilliant imagination a little during the day, we might notice an amazing change in life and even be a little less stressed and a lot happier!

I hope your week is going well and you are looking forward to the upcoming weekend. Do you have any plans for the weekend? Of course, I have no plans at all which is just the way I like it. The work week, even the short weeks seem so long and they are all planned out, I just enjoy having a few days that are not planned. I know some people would think I live a boring life and that might be true, but it is not complicated and it is safe.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared today and the quote helps you to use your imagination more, and that helps you through the last day of the week. I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Monday again, but today is a little different because most of us are off work today😊! There is almost nothing better than a long weekend! Are you doing anything special today or are you taking the day as a relaxing day? Considering my husband has to work tonight and we are dealing with LOTS of rain, I plan to just relax and prepare for the rest of the week. Were you able to do anything exciting over the past two days? I did not do anything too exciting, but I did get my vehicle working again, so I am not trapped at home or depending on a Uber ride!

Even though this is a short week, we all need a little motivation to begin the week with the best of intentions and positive thoughts! Yes, this will be a shorter week, but they always feel longer to me than the typical weeks. The only thing we can do is brace ourselves and push through the best we can because that is what we do best! I hope you will find the quote I am sharing motivating as it covers everything we need to understand our strengths and abilities.

Today we can do just about anything we want, well unless you have to work today. I think besides relaxing with my sweet cats, I want to finish a few posts I have been thinking about. Nothing better to do when I do not have to work but catch up on things I am unable to do when I have to work. I also think it might be a good idea to figure out what I am going to write about for the essay competition because I know I will regret it if I do not at least try. I have always believed the only way we can fail is if we do not try or we give up!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and the quote was motivating for you. I do look forward to reading your comments, which I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Pick-Me-Up Thursday

Happy Friday Eve 😊! How has your week been? It has been far too HOT and I do not think the temperatures are going to get cooler anytime soon. I swear, summer can often feel like we are living in hell, but hotter! It is terrible when you walk aside and feel like you are in a sauna or an oven that is turned up as high as it can go. Of course, there are good things about summer, but it is almost impossible to live near the ocean so you can feel the glorious ocean breeze and hear the waves crashing down!

We have somehow survived most of this week, but we do have a couple left before the weekend returns. This is the home stretch, as we wait “patiently” for the weekend 😊! I think we can all use a little pick-me-up that offers encouragement and strength. I hope you will feel the meaning of the quote I have shared and it encourages you to push forward for the remainder of this week. I think what we are “supposed:” to do, taking care of our responsibilities, home life, and work are embedded into our minds and we get lost. Many people are so focused on caring for everyone and everything else, they feel their emotions are unimportant and invalid. This way of thinking is not true and it is a hard pattern to end, but we can do it!

Now that the weekend is almost here, do you have any plans? One thing I want to do is purchase a few things for the outside of our house. I would like to plant some flowers in large pots to go on our front porch. I think flowers brighten life up and look really pretty. It might have to wait until next spring, but I really want to plant butterfly bushes because I LOVE butterflies and it would be amazing to see butterflies around the house! Does anyone have any advice on planting flowers and the best way to plant bushes?

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I shared and I was able to shine a little light on your day! I would love to know you thoughts about the quote I shared and any other comments you have. I promise to respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Mid-Week Inspiration

We have made it to the middle of the week, so we are that much closer to the weekend! Like every other week, this has been another long week and I said I would work overtime, again. That means working 10 hour days, but I am not working on Saturday! I figured after working three 10 hour days, I will not have the energy to work any on Saturday. I also have to give our poor cat her liquid medication again this week and she hates it, which means she will fight me tooth and nail to avoid it. If this medication was not “supposed” to be helping her, I would feel really bad for tormenting her, but hopefully this will prevent us from having to make the decision to have all her teeth pulled. Poor little girl has chronic gingivitis.

As we have survived the first part of the week and have a few days left until the weekend, I think we could all use some inspiration! I hope you will find inspiration and encouragement in the quote I have shared. There is nothing wrong with feeling angry, frustrated, and or discouraged during some times in our life, we are only human. It is just as important to keep going and never direct these emotions it at those not responsible for the challenging times. Yes, it can be easy to take our frustrations out on whoever is closest to us, but we need to try to control that because most of the time the person we take it out on, has nothing to do with why we are frustrated and or angry.

I hope your week is going well and you are staying as stress-free as you can. I am good at giving advice about stress, but terrible at taking my own advice. I manage to stress about everything and it takes a tole on my health. I know it is not good to stress and I am trying, but I continue to fail. It has been a little better this week, but I do still stress about things, especially work. Most of the things we find ourselves becoming stressed about are not going to change no matter how much we stress about it, so why bother with it, right?

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and the quote offered you the inspiration needed to get through the rest of this week. No matter what we go through in life, we need to always stay true to who we are and stand up for what you believe in. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Hello Monday! Our weekends go by so fast and the week returns. It seems like Friday was just minutes ago and now we are back to the beginning of the week again. It does not matter if we are ready, the new week is here. I hope your weekend was spent doing what brings you joy and you were able to relax and rest. I know I needed more than two days to recuperate from last week because last week was pretty awful. No matter how last week went down for us, let’s hope this new week is much better!

I think it is important to begin the week with a positive and fresh state of mind. We cannot go back in time and change anything that occurred last week, but we can learn from any mistakes that were made. Honestly, I learned a lot from last week and there are mistakes I will NEVER make again. I hope what I am sharing with y’all today provides you with motivation and courage to take on this week with determination!

Is there anything you are looking forward to this week? Our weeks are supposed to offer us a new beginning and opportunities, so I hope this week offers you that and more. It is only Monday and I am already looking forward to Friday, but I am sure as the week progresses I will have a better outlook. I am having a hard time letting go of some negative things from last week, but I am trying!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope your week begins well and gets better with each day that passes. I hope you have enjoyed what I have shared with you today and I look forward to reading your comments. I will respond to all comments as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort. support, and MANY positive vibes!

Mid-Week Inspiration

Instead of thinking of today as simply Wednesday, let us think of it as the halfway point to the weekend. I guess thinking of it as another day of the week makes it feel like the week is not almost over because thankfully, the week is almost over. We are so much closer to the weekend than we were yesterday, right? I have honestly been ready for the weekend since Monday morning, which says a lot about how my weeks have been! I think sometimes we all just need a break from reality and life but rarely get it. Most of the time, weekends are the closest we get to get a break.

Somehow, we have made it through half of the week and only have a few days left. Even with that said, I think we all could benefit from a little inspiration. I hope the quote I am sharing today will offer you inspiration, comfort, and a positive outlook on life! We are only given one life to live, so no matter what happens we need to make the most of it. Even though we all encounter struggles, we are also provided with many memorable and joyful times. During our hard times, we need to hold on to the joys and live every day to the fullest.

I hope your week has been wonderful and you are not being held down by the stresses life can bring on us. We have all heard this before, but stress is a silent killer. Many of the things we find stressful and not worth our time and nothing would change no matter what we did. There are things we have control over, but the truth is, we only have control over what we do. We cannot control how others are going to behave and must avoid the extra negativity.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and I look forward to reading your comments. I will respond to all comments as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Today we welcome Monday’s return and find the strength to tackle another week. As always the weekend went by in the blink of an eye and we are left with the short-lived memories, which I hope were wonderful and joyful. We need to view the week as a week filled with many amazing opportunities because that is what all weeks should provide. Sometimes, we need to create and go after the opportunities because they are not always clear.

Staying motivated on a Monday can be challenging, but we are all strong enough to do so. While finding the ability to stay motivated, we all need to remain and understand what it means to be humble. I believe the more we can be humble and understanding of others, the more motivated we will feel! I hope the quote I shared today offered you strength, motivation, and encouragement. I understand not looking forward to Monday and another long week of work can be, but the weekend will return soon!

Unfortunately, nothing much has changed with my constant migraines. They never get any easier, but I try to not let them control my life. Yesterday I woke up with a nasty migraine and it never got less intense all day. Of course, my sweet cats tried to help me feel better because that is just what they do. All animals, no matter how needy they are or how aggravating they can be are all just innocent little creatures filled with nothing but love!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you had a nice weekend and you are prepared for the week ahead of us. It might seem like it is a lot time before the weekend returns, but we need to stay focused and time will pass quickly! I look forward to reading your comments and will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Pick-Me-Up Thursday

Happy Friday Eve! How has your week been? It was not until yesterday, that overtime was offered at work again. I remember how insane it was last week when I said I would work overtime and swore I would not do it again, but I, of course, agreed to work the long 10 hours days again and four hours on Saturday. I am a glutton for punishment, but I am sure it will pay off, or at least that is what I will keep telling myself. The way I view things is, that I work from home and do not do anything else, so why not work for a little extra money?

Thankfully, we have almost survived the week and the weekend is almost here. I am glad the weekend is almost back, even though I am working a few hours on Saturday. After how long the week has already felt, I think we could all use a little pick-me-up and I hope the quote I am sharing provides that to you. Although I think this quote is uplifting and encouraging because it is incredibly true, I would love to know what you think.

Do you have any plans for the weekend? Besides working on Saturday, I do not think anything else is going on. I am 90% sure, my husband works all weekend, but things change with his job randomly. I hope work on Saturday is not too terribly, but things happen and it will all be okay. Life happens and things can be unpleasant, but I believe the outcome is all in the way we handle it. We all have a choice in how we approach different situations.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope your week has been wonderful and the final day is even better. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as soon as possible. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

~Motivational Monday~

I am always surprised at how fast time flies. Today is the first Monday of May, which means we are almost halfway through this year! I think we have all heard people say the time goes faster the older we get, but I prefer to not think of myself as old, yet. I do try to view age as just another number because that is all it is. Yes, it also shows how long we have survived this insane world, which can be considered a success because we are all living in a crazy world!!

Hopefully, we are all prepared for another LONG week of work because ready or not it is here. I am as prepared as I can be and also hoping it is not as bad as last week was. In preparation for the week, we must find ways to stay motivated and optimistic! I find the quote I am sharing with y’all today encouraging, motivating, and positive, but I hope you will as well. I can be hard to recognize our strengths at times, but we all have a powerful strength inside us😊!

I hope your weekend was filled with everything that brings you happiness. Most of the time our weekends are so short and to the point, it feels we did not have one, but we will have another in a few days! I did not do much over the weekend because I was not feeling well. I know a lot of why I was feeling so awful is because I did not get much sleep at all. The feeling of weakness and exhaustion are a terrible combination.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and the quote offered you some motivation. I looked forward to reading your comments and will respond as quickly as possible. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

The Traffic Light Of Life

Happy Friday eve. How has your week been? Honestly, mine has felt nearly unbearable and extremely exhausting. I am not sure if this has been due to work or personal life issues or an awful combination of the two. In all my years working, I have never felt so helpless and inadequate. It is not like the job is saving lives, discovering cures for diseases, or curing world hunger, so I cannot understand why everyone tries to make it seem that way. No job no matter what you do should make you feel like crawling under the desk and crying daily☹.

Have you ever asked yourself what life is or what it can be compared to? Life is like a traffic light. Life consists of stop, go, and yield, like the red, green, and yellow light. We all want a green light to keep going and get frustrated with a yellow or red light. The truth is, no matter what happens in life, things will always be changing and moving forward, even if it is slowly.

The way the past few weeks have been, I have felt like I have been at a constant red light. I know things happen for a reason and everything in life has a way of working out, but I need the light to turn green to make way for better days. There are always growing pains when starting a new job, but it has been a little over one month and it is time for the growing pains to end. I have always treated people fairly and never talked down to people when they had questions, so it does not make sense when people do.

On Friday eve, especially if you have had a week as I have had, we need something to pick our spirits up. Staying positive and spreading that positivity to others is critical. I got a message today from someone I worked with at my previous job saying she missed me and how positive I was. She said that I could always bring a smile to her face, even on a bad day. We all need people like that in our lives, whether it be a co-worker, friend, significant other, or anyone that is in our lives. I hope the quote I am sharing with y’all today with help lift your spirits.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you are doing well and standing up for yourself whenever you need to. Thankfully, we only have one more day of this long week and the weekend will return. You do not have to have anything epic planned, but just something that makes you smile😊! I look forward to reading your comments and will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!
