Finally Friday

Happy Friday, y’all! I am always happy when it is Friday and all the weeks seem long, but this week was exceptionally long and draining. I guess it is possible this week has felt longer and more draining because for the last part of the week has been I have been struggling with a headache that will not let up or go away. I am not sure why I have a headache that refuses to go away, but I am willing to guess it has something to do with the rain and stress. I know I have said before there is NO use getting stressed about anything, but I am good at giving advice and rarely listen to my own advice.

How was your week and are you as happy as I am the weekend is near? Do you have anything planned for the weekend? I am happy to say there is only one thing I must do, which is going to the eye doctor for my routine eye exam tomorrow afternoon. I am sure my eyes have gotten a little worse and maybe that is the reason for the headaches. Who knows, but we shall see tomorrow! I do always enjoy a quiet and uneventful weekend because after, a long and grueling week, it is what I need! The only other thing I might do is work on the article I am writing for the writing competition.

Now that we have made it to the end of the week, I do have a quote that I would like to share. I feel like this is something most people need to be reminded of. It can be easy to forget that we do not need loads of money, be popular or be highly educated to be happy in life. Of course, most of us do want a good education, but it is not necessary to be happy in life. I believe it is more important to be real about who we are and be kind to others while remaining humble to be happy in our daily lives! When we treat others kindly, it will make us feel happy!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and that you have had a good week. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. The weekend is near and I hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend doing what brings you the most joy. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Heavenly Birthday Wish

How do you wish someone a Happy Birthday when they have left this world? When someone you loved, admired, cherished, and miss is endless miles away in Heaven, you cannot call or visit them. The hardest and most challenging part is when you never had the chance to say “goodbye”. This can leave you wondering if a family member that you idolized ever knew how much you loved them and is heartbreaking. Is it possible that my late grandfather can still hear me when I talk to him? I can still hear his voice, but he is not answering my questions.

Today is my late grandfather’s birthday. Even though he passed away in 2013, I still try to honor the day he graced the world and everyone who knew him with his presence. I know he would not want anyone who knew him to be sad because that was the type of man he was. He was the most thoughtful and caring person in the world. I am thankful that he was my grandfather because I would like to think I am better because of him. I honestly believe that anyone who was privileged enough to know him was better because of him!

He fought a difficult fight with cancer and no matter how much strength he had, cancer won the battle. I am glad he was able to live a life doing the things he enjoyed. He was a pro golfer, and he loved his family. No one is perfect, but in my eyes, he was as close as someone can get to perfection. He was a devoted father and grandfather. I do not think anyone that knew him could say anything negative about him because he gave his all to those he cared about.

My late grandfather was an inspiration and the love he had shined in his eyes. He had never met a stranger and never judged anyone for anything. He thought of everyone as an equal and treated people with respect. I cannot help but think about what he would think about the terrible things that have occurred in this world in the past several years. He fought for this country, and I must believe he would not support or appreciate the corruption and hatred that is filling this country. There is a very small part of me that is glad he is not here to see the shameful ways the country has deteriorated.

Over the years, there was so much that I learned from my late grandfather. These lessons are the ones that I hold so close to my heart because they were so meaningful. I have never been the type to judge anyone on anything but the way they treat others and I think that is the way he was. The friends and family he left behind will always have a piece of their hearts that resides in Heaven. This is the piece of me that has been missing since September 9, 2013, but I do treasure the memories. I do believe there will be a day when I will see him again, but I am not sure when.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I know this post might have been a little sad, but I do want to wish my late grandfather a very happy birthday in Heaven. I hope he is playing at the best golf courses available to him. I would enjoy reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Inspirational Wednesday

The weeks continue to get longer or at least they feel that way, so I think it will be better to just think about today as the halfway point, instead of Wednesday! How has your week been so far? All I will say is that I am ready for the week to be over! I am not saying it has been a good or bad week, just semi-disappointing. This is at no fault of anyone else, it is setting my standards and expectations too high, so it is my own fault. The higher we set our standards and expectations, the more likely we are to be disappointed. Normally, I keep these lower because it is a safeguard for myself.

Even though we survived the first part of the week, we do still have the last part to go. Hopefully, the second half of the week will be much faster and easier. I think a little inspiration would help with the rest of the week. What do you think? Unfortunately, everyone deals with difficult and challenging times in life. There is no use crying over spilled milk because those tears will not make anything better in life. Hardships and failures should be used in a positive way. We can learn from anything we do not succeed with and instead of allowing this to discourage us, we should use these lessons to encourage and inspire!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you found the quote that I shared inspiring and that it helps you at least get through the day. The important thing is to not dwell on there being a few days left until the week, but that we will get to enjoy another weekend soon! Think about what you are looking forward to doing this weekend! I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Happy Valentine’s Day

Today is supposed to be a day of love because it is Valentine’s Day! I believe love is love and it does not matter who you love, as long as you love someone! It should not matter to anyone who someone loves because it does not affect their lives at all. Therefore, today is a day for everyone that loves another person to celebrate their love for one another! It is 2023 and people need to be more accepting and understanding of others, and NOT be so judgmental. Everyone around the world needs to just celebrate love for what it is, a connection and commitment between two people that love each other!

On this Valentine’s Day, I am going to share a quote and I hope it makes people think. True love is a powerful and amazing thing that can be celebrated and cherished between any two people! Skin color, gender, where someone is from, who they worship, and anything else does not matter, the only thing that matters is two people love one another! If who someone else loves bothers you, it might be a good time to think about why it bothers you and if it causes you any harm in your life because I am willing to bet there must be a deeper reason why something troubles you and it is not the two people who are in love. Maybe it could be that you have never loved another so deeply and this is your problem and no one else’s!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Celebrate the love you have with another person and be sure that person knows how much you love them! I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Happy Monday, y’all! I know the weekend went by extremely fast, but I hope you were able to enjoy it as much as possible! I spent my weekend not doing anything too exciting besides cleaning and organizing the house and working on the article for the writing competition. I am sure most people would think I am insane, but I enjoy organizing rooms and closets. If nothing else was accomplished, I am able to see progress when I organize and it makes me feel good! The weather where I live has been very unpredictable. Rain was expected all weekend, but one of the days was semi nice and yesterday it rained all day and was a little chilly!

Today, we must accept the weekend is over and a new workweek is beginning. I know this is not easy, but I guess it happens every week and we all manage! This week is normally difficult for me because Thursday is my late grandfather’s birthday. Instead of being sad all the days leading up to his birthday, I feel his life should be celebrated fully! My late grandfather was one of the BEST people in this world and I carry his memory with me every day. I feel like a lot of the reasons I am who I am is because of who he was, a kind, understanding, compassionate, loving, and fair man with a heart of gold!! My message to y’all today is to enjoy life to the fullest and never take anything or anyone for granted!

I hope your week begins great and continues to get better with each day that passes. Do you have anything going on this week that you are looking forward to or dreading? I have my follow-up appointment with my dentist to make sure I am healing well from the tooth extraction last month. I think everything is healing well so I am not too concerned. I am not a fan of dentists, but the one I went to was good, which could be because she let me have her puppy on my lap. This made my anxiety with the dentist much easier!

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and the quote helps get you motivated for the rest of the week. Remember to not stress about anything you have no control over and handle everything that happens this week, one at a time! I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as possible. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Rainy Sunday

Happy Sunday to y’all! Unfortunately, today is the last day of the weekend and the workweek will return again tomorrow. Even though the weekend is almost over, it is NOT over yet and there are still several hours left! Today, my plan is to finish cleaning the house and do the final load of laundry! Sounds like fun, right? It is crazy to think that I have spent most of the weekend either cleaning the house or organizing and getting things ready to donate! The things I enjoy doing might sound insane to some, but I really LOVE organizing because it makes me feel like I have accomplished something.

Were you able to do anything you enjoyed during the ever-so-short weekend? Although the weekends are incredibly short, if we have good time management we will be able to do most, if not all the things we wanted to do. The only thing I was not able to do this weekend that I wanted to do, was to sleep in. I cannot even blame this on my sweet cats, I just cannot turn off the internal clock in my mind and I get up at the same time every day!

As we prepare for a new week and finish anything we want to do over the weekend, I think there is something important we need to all remember. If you are anything like me, it is easy to give and think about others. This might be a good thing, but it can allow people to take advantage. I hope the quote that I am sharing will be a good reminder to be kind to others but also be kind to yourself as well. I do understand that some people are not able to do multiple things at the same time for whatever reason, but being kind to others and ourselves do not have to be too challenging!! I think it is worth at least trying!!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and that you were able to have a wonderful, and safe weekend! We all know the weekend will be coming to an end soon, but please do not dwell on this and just enjoy what is left! I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Cloudy Saturday

Happy first day of the weekend, y’all! When the weather says it is going to be a cloudy day with rain beginning in the early afternoon, how do you spend your day? My plan is to relax with my sweet cats on the couch and watch reruns of my favorite shows. I have been working on the article I am going to submit for the writing competition each day and of course, keep making changes and adding more details. I have started this article over more times than I can count, but I think it is a good work in progress and hopefully, the judges will as well!

I do not normally add quotes to my weekend posts, but the quote I am sharing has been something I keep looking back at while I have been overthinking the writing competition. I think this quote is powerful and encouraging, which I do need while working on the article for the competition because I tend to discourage myself. I think I have told myself many times that my writing will NOT be enough to impress the judges and it is a waste of time trying, but then I know if I do not try I will always wonder what would have happened!

I do not know about you, but last week felt like the LONGEST week ever! Each day of the week felt like it would never end. I think the reason might have been I did not get enough sleep, so I was extremely tired. I have experienced vertigo for too many years, but on Thursday night had one of the most intense and terrifying dizzy spells. In the past when a vertigo episode occurred, it would pass after a few minutes, but this episode would not ease and I had to crawl just to get to the bed to go to sleep. This could have been caused by a sudden drop in my blood pressure or low blood sugar, who knows, but it was miserable!!!

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you enjoyed this post and you have a wonderful day! Remember, today is the first day of the weekend and you deserve to do whatever makes YOU happy! I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Inspirational Wednesday

Thankfully, we are halfway through this week, so that means the weekend is getting closer! I hope the first half of this week has been good for y’all and the second half is even better! My week has not been too bad so far, of course, I have been helping my husband get ready for his “boys” snowboarding trip and working through the slow times at work, only hoping it will get busier soon! I am not sure about where you live, but the weather has been insane where I live. It seems that Mother Nature has not decided if it is going to be warm or cold, so it just does both on the same day.

Even though we have made it through part of the week, we do still have a few days left of this week. I cannot speak for everyone, but I would guess we could all benefit from a little inspiration today! Everyone deals with different things in this life. Of course, some require much more determination and resilience than others, while others do not have to endure as many hardships and pain. No matter what we go through or who we are, no one can say how another should overcome their struggles. We all have tough times and get through them in our own ways, which should be praised and admired!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you found the quote I shared inspiring and that it helps you to get through a few more days until the weekend returns. I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. I hope you have a wonderful day and you are looking forward to the weekend. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Tranquil Tuesday

We managed to get through one day of the week and now we only have four left! I think it is important to look at this positively, as we are closer to the weekend now😊! I hope the first day of your week was easy and each day gets even easier until Friday! How is your week going? I am helping my husband prepare for his “boys” snowboarding trip and hoping he has a fantastic time as he does love snowboarding more than I do! I am even making him his favorite breakfast sandwiches to eat while he is on his “boys” trip! The cold weather tends to create more pain for me, which is not something that I need!

During the workweek, we can become stressed with work or our other duties. Even though I know it is better to try to stay calm, it is not easy for me to do. I do understand that stress does not help anything or anyone and it only creates more issues. We do not always remember this, but life is short and we never know when our time will be up. Therefore, we should never allow anything or anyone to steal our happiness from us! There are always going to be people that know what buttons to push for us and we need to try to ignore them because we do not want to give them the power to eliminate our happiness in this short life!

What do you have in store for the rest of the week? Honestly, I am just thankful Monday is over because now I am more prepared for the rest of the week! I know it might sound crazy, but I am hoping work gets a little busier soon because it will make the day go faster. I know I have mentioned the writing competition in a few posts and I am still debating between two topics. I have a few paragraphs written for each topic and I am going to continue to play around with them both and see which one works out better. I guess it is a good thing I enjoy writing because I might end up having two articles completed before the deadline in May.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and that it has offered you some peace. I am looking forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. I hope you have a wonderful day and you take things as they come and you do not get overly stressed about anything. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Motivational Monday

Welcome back, Monday, I cannot say you were missed! I know most of us never look forward to the workweek starting again, but let’s try to view today as an opportunity for success! It is better to view days we dread in a positive light, instead of a negative one. We know we are never able to avoid Monday or the workweek beginning, so why should we waste time thinking negatively? Believe me, I know the weekend was way too short, but at least we were able to enjoy a few days away from work! I do hope you were able to enjoy the weekend and that you are as ready as you can be for the week to start!

I do believe we should try to begin the week with the best mindset possible! I also think it is important to not just be on Monday, but every day is kind and understanding of others. If we could smile more and frown less, listen more than we ignore, and offer compliments to others, we would be happier and so would others! I do know it can be challenging to listen to others, especially when all they are doing is complaining, but it can make a HUGE difference! Trying to do any or all of these things will not cause any harm, so it should not be too difficult!

Thank you for visiting my site today! I hope you found the quote I shared motivating that it carries you through today, and that your week continues to improve each day. Remember to try not to worry about the things you have no control over and only focus on what you can control. I look forward to reading your comments and I will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!
