Happy Friday eve, y’all! I hope you have had a good week and you are looking forward to the weekend. There are times when we all need a short break and a chance to do something we want to do. Many of us spend too much time doing and taking care of others, but we must try doing something nice for ourselves. I am sure many of you can agree with me that the workweeks are TOO long and the weekends are TOO short. There needs to be something in between, right?
I am planning to do another post regarding April being stress awareness month, but this post is just going to be the first part, but I promise there is going to be a part 2😊! Stress is nothing new to me, but I would like for it to go away and leave me alone. This week has been overflowing with stress and it has not all been work-related. I know that I probably do not handle stress in the best ways because I just try to ignore it and avoid it, instead of dealing with it. How do you handle stress? I do not know about you, but for me, stress feels like a mix of a hurricane, a tornado, and an earthquake. It is a crazy feeling of losing control 100%, but I do realize this is no one’s fault but my own!
I do know there must be healthier ways of handling stress, but for reasons I cannot explain, I have not found any. I think some of this is because I try to carry the burdens of everyone else on my shoulders, which can be extremely exhausting. There comes a time in everyone’s life when they are forced to understand that they cannot fix everything for everyone, and they must start focusing on their lives! It does not help matters that I am always in pain, and it is unrelenting. The weather is changing so that in the mornings, it is cooler, but by noon it is too warm. If only it could be in the low 70’s year around!

We were supposed to be going to see one of our favorite bands in concert, but unfortunately, the lead singer’s wife is dealing with some medical issues, so the concert has been postponed. Currently, I do not believe we have anything planned, which is fine by me because my week has not been great, and I think I need to rest and relax.
