Motivational Monday

I hope you had a nice and relaxing weekend, and that you are ready for another week to begin. I wanted to do a few posts over this past weekend, but I was, unfortunately, still not feeling well after the tooth extraction trauma and unable to do much of anything. I tried my best to relax and rest, but it did not help much because I still had this nagging nauseous sensation. Not only was I extremely nauseous all weekend, but I also had a sore throat, which I am assuming was due to the tooth infection the first dentist missed. I am just hoping to keep getting better because we are going on a short vacation to celebrate my husband’s birthday and will be snowboarding at the end of this week.

As we begin the second week of 2023, I think we could all use a little motivation to start the week with the best mindset. We all work so hard and often work through personal struggles and challenges. Most of the time, we show our strength behind closed doors or in silence because we do not want any extra attention. We do what we do for ourselves and our family, not to be recognized for doing something spectacular. I am saying this to remind y’all to remember to be proud of yourself for the progress and achievements you have made in life! Life is not easy and we all experience challenges, but it is overcoming those challenges that can make us stand out and display strength and resilience!

How was your weekend? I certainly hope your weekend was better than mine was. Is there anything you are looking forward to or dreading this week? I am only working two days this week because we are leaving on Wednesday on the snowboarding birthday trip. Even though work has not been busy lately, I am looking forward to a few days off and it will be nice to get away. I think it is important to have time away from the same old thing all the time because it can be healthy for mental wellbeing!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and the quote offered you some motivation. It is never easy beginning another week and letting go of the weekend, but we do this 52 times a year, so I think everything will go well. I look forward to reading your comments and will respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Always, Alyssa
