Happy Friday eve, y’all! I hope your week has been filled with more happiness than struggles, but that any struggles you did face turned into opportunities. The weeks often feel so long, but viewing each day as a blessing can make them seem even better. The truth is, no one is promised tomorrow, so each tomorrow is truly a gift. I experience pain 24/7 and now realize the pain I feel lets me know I am still alive. Sure, I would love to know I was alive without the pain, but that is not what my life is and I guess that is okay.

Thankfully we are almost to the weekend, but we do have one more day to get through. One more day before the weekend is far better than five more, right? Even though we are closer than we were to the weekend, I think we all deserve a little pick me up, don’t you? Granted, we experience struggles and hard times, but let us have our pain push us through until better days because they will come!

I have not worked since December 9, 2021, when I was laid off. I have spent the last three months searching for a new job. I have spent hours looking for the work from home job that was right for me and I am so happy that I will be starting one on Monday. Of course, I do not know if this job will be the perfect fit for me, but I do know I will try and that means it will be a success. I do not enjoy not working and honestly, there is a part of me that misses working in an office setting, but working from home has good opportunities as well. We never know the outcome of something new until we try!
