Sunday appreciation

Happy Sunday! Today is the last day of the weekend, so we need to try enjoying it as much as possible. Everyone always says that Sunday is a day for rest, which I agree with but also think it should be a day of appreciation. Life is short and I have always believed we should live each day like it is our last because we do not know what each minute holds for us. Unfortunately, many seem to forget what appreciation means and we often need a reminder.

Why is appreciation important and what does it truly mean? Appreciation is the recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something. People are more inclined to do and act better when they are appreciated. Those in our lives that bring happiness and meaning to our lives are the ones that we should hold closest to us. There are some that “should” bring joy to our lives, but only cause stress and anguish and should be released from our life.

It is crucial to value life and be determined to succeed and be proud of who we are. Success means something different to every person and is a personal view. No one can tell another person what they need or should do to be successful because it is vastly unique for each individual. Being proud of who we are is also a personal view! Standing up for what we believe in is one way to maintain being proud of who we are. Sometimes being different from everyone else can be a reason to be proud of ourselves!
