Happy Saturday y’all! Do you have any exciting plans for your weekend? I normally have nothing planned, but today I am going to pick up my new contacts. I know nothing exciting, but for someone that hardly leaves the house anymore, this is thrilling. I would love to say I was going somewhere fun, like Bath & Body Works, but nothing that fun, YET! Hopefully, there will be a day the COVID is in our rearview mirror and a distant not so pleasant memory, and thousands of people are not continuing to die daily because of the virus. A girl can dream, right?

When I looked at the world now and the way things are it makes me so sad. There is so much hate and anger, which I can understand anger because most of us have been since the start of the pandemic, but that does not explain why people are SO mean to one another. Life is fragile and short, so I think while we are here we should be trying to be kind to everyone. All humans have a beating heart, of course, some people are forgotten how to use it, but maybe if we try a little harder it would help those consumed with hate be kind.

In this life, it is crucial to have things that bring us joy and help us to escape from the stresses of life. Are there things you do that make you smile, even during hard times? What do you do that helps you to escape the stress you feel? One thing that always makes me smile, even when I feel like crying is our adorable cats. They are three of the most loving and funniest souls. I feel a little guilty because our smaller cat needs to get medicine twice a day one week out of the mouth. It is a liquid medication that I have to give her and the poor little girl hates it. I know it is to help her, but it torments her.

Thank you for stopping by my site today. I hope you enjoyed this post and the quote that I shared. I am looking forward to reading your comments and promise to respond as quickly as I can. I hope you have a relaxing and safe weekend, and is filled with happiness. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Always, Alyssa

You know it’s sad and horrifying to see all the hatred and violence in this world. Every time you turn the TV on what do you see? If you think about it, how often do you see the good that people do on TV? Exactly, not very often. I believe the press plays a big factor in that. Don’t you think it’s just as easy to find good in this world as it is to find the bad? Some people don’t believe it’s news if there’s no blood and guts so to speak. I believe people have a choice. Focus on the good or focus on the bad. Which do you prefer? Seriously if we all could put ourselves in someone else’s shoes for a day maybe we’d all learn to be a little kinder and gentler people. Life is difficult enough without others purposefully trying to make our life more complicated and painful. Let’s take a step back and put forth extra effort to do one kind act a day for someone else. That one kind act can hopefully turn into 2, 3 and so on. Just think we can all have a part in making this world a better place to live. After all, isn’t that what we all want for ourselves and our families? All my Love & Support, Mom!!
