Inspirational Wednesday

Today is not just simply Wednesday, it means we are halfway to the weekend! I hope your week has been good up until today and the last two days are even better. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I honestly do not have anything too exciting planned for the weekend, but Friday is a rather big day. Well, I say big but it is because I have another interview and a meeting with the evil people for unemployment. The unemployment thing has been VERY frustrating and EXTREMELY unfair. No matter how frustrating and unfair things have been with unemployment, I am not giving in to their shenanigans because I have been doing everything I can to find a job. I guess they just do not understand why the job I get has to be remote, but after Friday they will understand!

I know I have not been doing my “normal” posts, but I am trying to get back to normal. I have always felt that the weeks are long and when we make it to the halfway point, we could all use some inspiration to help get us through the remainder of the week. I hope the quote I am sharing with y’all today will provide you with some inspiration and help you to feel happier! Life will always throw so much our way and it can feel overwhelming, which is why I find this quote so inspiring. If we always focus our attention on everything being thrown our way, it will be easy to miss some of the best things life has to offer!

What are some of the things you enjoy most about life, even during the painfully difficult times? I have thought about this a lot over the past month or rather a year. It is a question that can keep us grounded and satisfied with life. I love spending time with my husband and our cats. I think our cats can make everything better because they do not know or understand hate, anger, evilness, or anything else negative. I mean the day I was laid off, one of our cats would not leave my side and she is one with the most unique personality. Other times when I am not feeling well or in a lot of pain, all three of them are there to help.

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed this post and I look forward to reading your comments. I promise I will respond to all of your comments as quickly as I can and I want you to know how much I appreciate you and your comments. I hope you have a great day and PLEASE continue to stay safe. COVID is still VERY real and continues to take the lives of so many innocent. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Always, Alyssa

  1. I had a job, my last one before illness took me out of the job market, that let me go and did everything they could to see that I didn’t get unemployment. I had embarrassed the owner publicly when he let me go and they were bitter. They won. Still burns my arse. I get it. Good luck

  2. Yeah for Wednesday!! I can’t believe I’m saying that. I am a nurse and thankfully only working as needed maybe 2 days a week. However, this week is different. So far I’ve worked 3 days and agreed to help out with early surgical cases again tomorrow. I definitely don’t miss the long hours and getting up early every day. I guess you could say I’m spoiled and loving it.
I’ve given some thought to your quote today. Life can surely throw some curve balls causing unwanted stress. Life can be painful at times. I just have to say it’s nice having a partner that truly loves you and shares all life’s ups and downs with you. Just knowing you have someone you can count on and loves you no matter what, makes each challenge less scary. Love can help ease life’s pain and if you have that someone don’t let them go. Be there for one another. Put that person’s needs before your own and cherish them. Going through life with someone by your side is such a blessing. Be thankful. All my Love & Support, Mom!!
