It is Monday morning again! Before I was laid off and I was working a full-time job, I would often dread Monday morning. It proves the weekend ended and we have to work all week, again. Now that I am not working, I miss that feeling. It has not been fun to not work because I have worked for as long as I can remember. It is not that I have not been looking and applying for jobs, but none have worked out yet. I do have two phone interviews today, so hopefully one of them will actually provide me with good news. After the past month, I could use some good news!

Since I have not been working, I have not been doing my typical posts. Today, I am trying to make some changes. The truth is, life is hard and some days are so difficult it is painful to keep fighting. However, I would like to believe, we are all strong enough to keep trying and fighting for what we deserve because we are worthy of SO much more than we know. There are always going to be things that knock us off our feet and it might feel easier to surrender to the challenges, but that is NOT living! It is a good feeling when we prove those that made us feel we were not worth anything wrong! Standing up against that struggles will not weaken us, but make us twice as powerful!

How was your weekend? I hope your weekend was filled with things that bring you joy and you did so safely. Of course, I did not do anything exciting over the weekend. I did deal with a nasty migraine/sinus headache that made it feel like my head was about to explode. Thankfully my migraine/sinus headache lessened by yesterday, but it was still lingering. Are you ready for the new week to begin and do you have anything exciting going on?

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you enjoyed what I have shared and the quote I share resonates with you and gives you additional strength! I am not sure how you are feeling about the COVID status, but I still find it terrifying because it is still killing people. I have stressed this previously, but the vaccine as scary as it might be is not killing people! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and MANY positive vibes!

Always, Alyssa

So typical. When we’re working we don’t want to be and when we’re not working we want to be. Crazy, right?? It would be awesome if the work week was only 2 days and the weekends were 5 days but what world is that?? Oh yeah, I was dreaming again. I guess we just need to be thankful for what we have. It’s sad that many of us don’t realize the value we bring to one another. Each one of us had unique talents. No two people are the same and thank goodness for that. We need to believe in ourselves and stand strong to who we are. Sometimes it can be easy to knock us down but remember don’t stay there for long. We need to keep fighting and show ourselves we have what it takes to make this life the best ever. Oh and remember we’re not in this alone and it’s okay to ask loved ones for help. That’s what family is all about. Always being there for one another. All my Love & Support, Mom!!!
