Inspirational Wednesday!

We Are Halfway To The End Of The Week!

Happy Wednesday y’all! How has your week been so far? I am so sorry I did not do my Tranquil Tuesday post yesterday, but I was battling an awful headache the entire day and could not look at the computer, or anything else for that matter. My headaches typically occur when it rains and unfortunately, where I live wants to behave like Seattle, Washington and rain a lot! You would almost think my body would be used to the rain by now, but it definitely isn’t!

As we are finally to the middle of the week and the weekend is getting closer, we all probably need a little inspiration to get through a few days! Not only am I going to share a quote with y’all that I found inspirational, but I am also going to share a piece of great advice I received from an amazing follower. First, I will share the quote with y’all and look forward to reading your thoughts on it, which I will respond to as quickly as I can!

If you remember on Friday I said that I was going to work on completing a few posts I had been working on and didn’t want to share them until they met my standards of perfection. Well, this very kind person told me something I will never forget and will never forget and it kind of relates to the quote I shared as well. This very kind person told me to not worry about perfecting my posts because not only are they therapeutic for my readers, but for myself as well. This person also said and I quote ” It exposes the darkness in the corners and crevices that sheds light on the areas that we often don’t have a chance to touch as we worry about being vulnerable to our personal friends.” I can’t even begin to say how much this meant to me and really needed to see! I highly recommend you visit this individual’s site when you have time because I know you will enjoy it

Thank you for stopping by my site today! I hope you found the quote I shared inspiring and also hope you stop by my friend, and fellow blogger’s site soon! I find it truly amazing how much one comment can mean to someone, so try to remember that when you think someone might be struggling because you could completely change their day for the better! I hope you have a great day and you stay as safe as you possibly can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and many positive vibes!

Always, Alyssa

  1. Thank you ma’am for that plug for my website. It is hard to find a person that appreciates the wisdom that one conveys through a lifetime of experience.
What I really would like to get out there is it does not matter our political affiliation or what another believes about a specific trial that effects everyone but how one looks outside of their sphere to see where a little uplifting can do so much good. Often we worry about how much something will cost and balance the perceived amount of adulation vs the input costs. I am here to tell you that words that can turn a mind, a heart to see a better outcome costs absolutely nothing. I have many acquaintances that do not share my beliefs on many topics. However if I run their viewpoints into the ground and project my dominant nature about whatever the subject is, I will have fewer friends in the long run. It is quite interesting where we do not have enough regard for one another to allow differences of opinions to thrive. Respect from whence the other person has come and give them the opportunity to have creative thoughts whether they align with your specific beliefs or not. I believe that whole communities could be better served if we would put away our private views and just help someone else where they are at. I don’t know where this view that two people have to walk in the same path in order for them to be able to walk side by side. A quote that I once read goes something like this: “ Do not walk behind me, I may not lead. Do not walk in front of me, I may not follow. Walk beside me and be my friend.”
All of us have an issue that can be addressed by a little support or a kind word. IT COSTS NOTHING. Your posts have been uplifting for me because I am going down the same pathway that you have trod and the reaction that you give at each stage that I have seen is not one of self pity or defeat but rather making lemonade out of lemons. More people enjoy the sweetness of the lemon on a hot day mixed with a little ice than the taste of an overripe one that brings the flys.
Keep writing as I believe it cleanses the soul so you can fill it with something good.
