Tranquil Tuesday

We Should Be Free From Any Disturbing Action

Happy Tuesday y’all! I hope your week has started off well and you are feeling the best you possibly can. We all already know the world is full of chaos and hateful behavior, but we do not need to allow this to control us and we do not have to join the rest. It is okay to stand out and be different because sometimes, being different is the best way to be.

Now that we have one day of this week under our belt, we sometimes need a reminder of how tranquility can make the difference for our sanity. I find the quote I am sharing with y’all encouraging and powerful, but I hope it will bring a little tranquility into your week! I would love to know how your week is going and what you think of the quote because I always love and enjoy reading your comments!

Something that I always try to not only remember, but practice on a daily basis is being understanding and compassionate towards others. We will never know what someone else is going through until we walk a mile in their shoes. We might not understand the reasons another person acts the way they do, but shouldn’t we at least try? I think it is crucial especially when times are as difficult as they are right now to be kind, accepting, patient, tolerate, and loving to everyone.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my site and read what I have shared today! I hope your week is going well and you are doing what is necessary to stay safe. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and many positive vibes!

Always, Alyssa

  1. I was just reading today about how the world is in everincreasing agitation. It is too much for our finite minds to take in. Oh we try but the house Nd result can be and often is an untimely event such as the one you discussed yesterday. If we would just learn to simplify and open ourselves up to compassion for our fellow man, it could be such a better place.
I could deep dive into a religious rant regarding the feebleness of our world but I will stay somewhat superficial as I do not know anyone personally who are your followers and for that matter I don’t know you personally. However that does not prevent me from encouraging you on your journey with the external pressures that conflict our personal mental attitude (PMA). Almost 40 years ago I learned that our PMA determines how uplifting we can be to others.
I am gently reminded this morning of Bernard Baruch quote “Be who you are because those that mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” And so with that quote in mind I may bear my soul from time to time. It is all from a place deep in my heart that I would like to shed light on and the most rewarding situation would be to alleviate some suffering of someone else. This world is full of people that hurt and I want to do what I can to divert that hurt to another stream and let the water that flows from there grow a tree, bush, or plant that fosters healing in this mentally congested world. So please forgive me if I go on a different trajectory than you as the author intends. I have lived a life of pain and would like to use my experience to soothe others from theirs. I am by no means a counselor but have some real world experience and have learned how to turn my river of malice into a fruit orchard. None of us has to walk alone. I often think of the story of the footprints in the sand and when the dreamer asks why there were sometimes two sets of footprints along the journey but sometimes only one God said that is when I was carrying you.
As this disease ravaged my system I find that I need someone who can wrap their arms around me and pick me up and carry me through the rough times in my life.
“Never be ashamed of a scar. It simply means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you.”
