Pick Me Up Thursday

Happy Friday Eve Y’all!

Thankfully, we have another short week and we are almost to the weekend again! How has your week been? Sometimes it feels like the short weeks are so much longer than they really are. Tuesday kind of felt like Monday on steroids. Even though the week has felt long and yesterday was an emotional day for me, things at work went well and busy. I prefer to be busy during my work day because it makes the day go by that much faster.

As we are approaching the end of the week and have one more day to get through, I want to share a quote that I hope will be a good pick me up for y’all! With the state of the nation still being in turmoil it can get difficult to stay optimistic, but we need to continue to try. I would love to read what you think about the quote I share with y’all today and promise you I will respond as quickly as I can!

I hope on this Friday eve y’all are still doing what is necessary to stay safe. Unfortunately, there is no know end to the COVID-19 crisis and we need to follow the guidelines that the top healthcare professionals advise. I do completely understand that wearing masks is uncomfortable, but the short-term discomfort can keep you alive and is worth it!

Thank you for visiting my site today. I hope you have a great and safe day. As you prepare for the weekend I do hope whatever you have planned you will stay safe and enjoy the two days away from the work week! The weekends are short and you should do what makes you happy. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, support, and many positive vibes!

Always, Alyssa

  1. There are so many pressures in our current environment; some self inflicted and others that we have no control over. But the one thing that we can control is our outlook and the positivity of our mental state. Whether we are in pain or have heartache or disappointments, our reaction to them sheds light on our true character. I appreciate the quote by Jang. It is a responsibility of all to clear through the cobwebs of our path and find stable ground to walk on rather than stumble in the blinding of our walk. Cheers to a positive outlook no matter the cause of the intrusion.
