Motivational Monday!

Let’s make this week great!

Happy Monday y’all! I hope you had a wonderful and safe holiday weekend! I did spend most of the weekend getting ready for today when I start my new work from home job, but I will tell you all about my first day this evening. I am going to be working 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, but I am still making time for my blogging friends!

Today is the start to new week that is hopefully going to be the beginning of many great new and exciting things. I always think we need some extra motivation to make sure we begin the week off positively! I find the quote I am sharing with y’all incredibly true throughout the entire world. So much has not improved with equality and justice in the United States. I think the more we speak out against inequality and racial injustice, the more hope we can bring for those that need and deserve it!

I hope you have a great start to your week. Please whatever your day brings, stay safe and practice ALL protocols necessary. I really want y’all to never get this nasty and horrible virus! With this past weekend being a holiday weekend, it is sad how many people failed to practice social distancing. Therefore the COVID-19 numbers did increase, it honestly scares the hell out of me and keeps me from leaving the safety of my home.

Thank you so much for stopping by my site today! I appreciate your continued support and love reading your amazing comments, which I would love to know how you feel about the quote I shared today. Please stay tune for the post I do regarding my first day of work, after not being employed for a few months. I am truly excited because I do hate not working and having a schedule! I hope y’all never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort, supportive, and many positive vibes!

Always, Alyssa

  1. Great quote! I’ve worked in the field of special education and disabilities my entire adult life. I have been cut down by administrators for standing up for equal rights for my students. There is still a long way to go, but at least that, along with other societal inequalities are coming to light!
I can’t wait to hear about your first day at your new job!

    • You are an amazing person and the children you worked with were lucky to have you. I had cousins on both sides of my family that were special needs. Unfortunately, one of them when in a special home passed away. He was also raped in that home, which was horrible. I don’t understand people. I really meant to write about my day tonight, but I am exhausted. I hope to write something for tomorrow though, I am sorry I know I said I would share about my day tonight, but I just don’t have the energy. I will tell you, things went well. There were 2 Zoom meetings and I got kicked out of it twice. Overall, things went well and I know I will get the hang of it again quickly.
