Happy Friday y’all! I hope you had a great week and you are looking forward to a happy and safe weekend! I know I have said this before, but I can’t believe how quickly this year is going by. I feel like we just celebrate 2020 and now it is June.The year has been a little more insane than I thought it would be. For some reason I thought 2020 was going to be amazing and everything in life would become easier. I guess with the combination of the stress from the virus, unjust behaviors of those full of hate, and protests to get the point across that killing innocent people because of what appear to be the color of their skin is nothing short of WRONG! Maybe I am a little naive, but I do hope justice will be served in all wrongful deaths at the hands of police officers.

On a more positive note, y’all know I think Friday is the perfect day to Let Go of any negative emotions that was created during the week. I do not think this is just my opinion because many other people agree that it is a lot easier to be kind, accepting, compassionate and empathetic than it is to be the complete opposite. I hope the simple, but honest quote I share will give you the motivation to let go and not bring negative emotions into your well-deserved weekend!

I know even if you do not live in the United States, you have heard about the senseless killing of an innocent man in Minneapolis last week. I am glad that the police officers involved have been charged and will hopefully face the maximum sentencing possible. Unfortunately, one would think that the protests would teach others to not follow suit with these officer, but I am not sure it will. This has been an ongoing issue in the United States for far too long and it needs to stop immediately. I believe hatred for someone that looks different from you is unnecessary and just plain WRONG!
