Happy Friday y’all! I hope you had a great week and you are doing everything you can to stay safe. Unfortunately, everyone in the world is dealing with some type of struggle at this moment. We might not be to fix the troubles anyone else might be facing, but we can be a source of love and encouragement to others. We can also do everything within our power to stay safe which will in turn help others not become ill.
Friday is always a good day to let go of anything that happened during the week that left you feeling upset or irritable. These feelings can happen to all of us for different reasons. I do think taking these negative emotions into the weekend is not a good idea because that will only take happiness and peace away from the weekends we look forward to. I hope you will find the quote I have found a good inspiration and encouragement to let go of negative emotions.
I know there is not much we are able to do over the weekend because of COVID-19, but we can enjoy quiet and peaceful time in the comfort of our home! We all deserve serenity and tranquility without the intrusion of negativity. I mean there is enough negativity anytime you watch the news. I hope y’all can enjoy the weekend and you are feeling the best you possibly can!
I want to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support and amazing comments. I enjoy reading your views on the various topics I have been writing about. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love
, comfort, and many positive vibes!
Always, Alyssa

Congrats on your husband gettting a job! What type of job is he doing? Sounds great that he’ll be able to work from on on a regular basis. 🙂

Thank you! He is working IT at the local hospital. It is great after he is fully trained he can work from home. He is being great telling me I don’t have to get a job anytime soon. This will sound crazy, but I hate not working and being home all day!

During the quarantine, I started habit tracking and that is how I am staying sane! Just take things day by day. That’s literally all we can do right now, but make each day count. I slacked off for the past 3 weeks so now I’m finally doing something about it!

That is a good idea to do a habit tracker. The stay at home thing is driving me crazy. I can go to the grocery store and pharmacy with a mask and gloves. The mask make it hard to breath. I have a doctor’s appt next week, which will be virtual, so I will still be trapped in the house. I hope you have a good and safe weekend!

I haven’t been grocery shopping in weeks. If anything, my husband goes out to get the groceries. I couldn’t imagine having a doctor’s s appt that’s virtual – good luck! If anything, it’s good to go outside for some fresh air. I am grateful that we can still leave the house to get some exercise! 🌞

That is nice of your husband to do the grocery shopping. I am sure the virtual appointment will be fine, but we will see!

I am surprised that the dollar store is still open. I guess it counts as an essential service? 🤷♀️ I will get the odd items (husband wanted BBQ skewers) from the dollar store but it’s the only store I will go to these days. And when I go there, it is SO intense. There is a security guard at the entrance and he inspects everyone who enters. Anyone who is coughing or appears sick isn’t allowed in! 😷

I just went out to the grocery store because I knew it wouldn’t be busy. I was so happy to see the people that were in the store were wearing masks. I hope more people will follow that and keep everyone safe!

I went out for a walk at 7:30 AM and seeing the sun poke through the trees was surreal. I didn’t see a single person outside but a lot of bustling traffic, which is nothing new. Being outside by myself was really nice and made me appreciate the stillness of life right now.
It’s good to know that people who go out are taking the proper precautions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19!
