Let It Go Friday

happy fridayHappy Friday y’all! I hope you had an amazing week and you are feeling the best you possibly can. Now that the weekend is here, do you have any plans? I have said this before, a weekend not full of plans is relaxing and therefore how I prefer to spend my weekends. I am still in the process of finding a new job, but honestly I am enjoying the down time that is allowing me to focus on things I am extremely passionate about. I do want to get back into a daily routine because I do like that type habit. I just need to make sure the next place I end up working isn’t going to openly discriminate against my medical condition that I have no control over.

I think y’all already know this about me, but I love finding great quotes to share. I tend to ddfa7d40c7410deaec903ab6569a5c61find quotes uplifting and I see so much meaning in all the ones I share with y’all. I think the one I am sharing with y’all today is short, but pretty powerful and hopefully it will serve you well. Friday is a great day to let go of anything negative that happened during the week because we do not need any negativity weighing on our hearts, souls, and minds. I remember there always being numerous things that would have me feeling uptight and or disturbed, but at the end of the day most of those things weren’t worth my precious time. I hope there wasn’t anything that occurred during the week that was unpleasant for you, but if there was, I hope you will be able to let it go and find peace. Y’all deserve nothing but the absolute best in life!

welcome fridayThank y’all for stopping by my site today. I hope you have a lovely day and it is followed by an incredible weekend! I can’t believe it is almost March, because the first two months went by so fast! I hope that does not mean the year will fly by as fast, but we will see. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love ❤, comfort, and many positive vibes!

  1. Thank you for sharing!!.. perhaps you should think about working at home in the future… my daughter does it, works for a international company (even Amazon contacted her with an offer).. she has her “office” set up in a private place in her home and have “office hours” 5 days a week (off holidays and weekends… 🙂 )… she just doesn’t have to drive to work… 🙂

    Going to have a laid back weekend with a glass of wine and my Kindle… 🙂

    Hope today and all your tomorrows are filled with love and happiness and life is all that you wish for it to be!… 🙂

      • Thank you so much! I did check out this website prior to me asking if your daughter would know of anything, but did not see anything. I looked again after I saw your message though and applied for a position! Hopefully something working from home will work out for me!

        I contacted my daughter and this were her reply;
        Hey Dad,
        I just posted my resume on http://www.indeed.com and you can choose to have it listed to any employers looking to fill positions as well as send it to jobs listed. I have received several emails from various companies looking for at home at work from that.
        Just let me know if she needs any additional info & I can certainly forward her any emails I get for her to look over & respond…
        Thanks
        Kim

      • Thank you so much for asking your daughter about this and please tell your daughter I said thank you! I am working on the work from home thing and hope it works out for me! I have been having some awful issues with my legs and it is scaring the heck out of me. Plus, I am putting information together about MS because it is MS Awareness Month and even though I have lived with this illness for going on 20 years, it still upsets me when I read about it. Do you think that is absolutely insane?

      • You are welcome and I will pass it on to Kim… It may take a bit of time and determination, but I believe it will work out for you..
        I do not think it is insane at all… you are dealing with health issues in a world’s society where profit is considered over the welfare of a living creature and your health issue is constantly reminding you of your challenges.. by working from home you can determine your own destiny and use that to overcome your health issues…

        I can relate to your issues as I helped my late wife deal with cancer for 4 years before she passed away… also, I have a bad ankle after years of abuse, 🙂 and I also have Degenerative Disc Disease of the lower back…

        The main thing to remember is “Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird, that cannot fly.” (Langston Hughes ) and you are not alone… 🙂

        Hope today and all your tomorrows are filled with love and happiness and life is all that you wish for it to be!.. 🙂

      • When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
        When the road your trudging seems all uphill,
        When the funds are low and the debts are high,
        And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
        When care is pressing you down a bit
        Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.

        Life is queer with its twists and its turns,
        As everyone of us sometimes learns,
        And many a failure turns about
        When they might have won, had they stuck it out.
        Don’t give up though the pace seems slow,
        You may succeed with another blow.

        Often the struggler has given up
        When he might have captured the victors cup;
        And he learned too late when the night came down,
        How close he was to the golden crown.

        Success is failure turned inside out
        The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
        And you never can tell how close you are,
        It may be near when it seems so far;
        So stick to the fight when your hardest hit,
        It’s when things seem worst that you mustn’t quit!
