Motivational Monday

musicHappy Monday y’all! I hope you had a nice and relaxing weekend. With all that happened last week,  I am hoping this week will be better all around. I spent my weekend writing a lot and also listening to music. There is so much great music out there and many songs speak straight to my heart and soul. Considering I was still feeling pretty awful from the week, sitting and listening to music was my peaceful solitude.

How was your weekend and are you ready to tackle another week? Monday is not only the start to a new week, it is also way to try again at anything that didn’t happen last week. insteadofletting-min

This post is going to be shorter than normal, but the quote I am sharing is powerful and I hope it will help your week start off on the right foot! I actually found it a few weeks ago, but it just fits for today and what I needed to read again!

I hope you have a wonderful day and you are feeling the best you possibly can. Please know that I am always sending y’all LOTS of    love ❤, comfort, and many      positive vibes!

  1. There is so much in this world that can discourage us on a daily basis. What would our lives be like if we allowed every failure to bring us down yet another notch? Soon we would be feeling so horrible that getting back up and trying again would seem impossible. Nothing is ever that bad that giving up is an option. I believe that God presents us with challenges that may have you say to yourself, why me? God has a plan for each of us and we may be so off track that he intervenes in a way that allows us to take a step back and reevaluate our lives. This is a good thing because sometimes we can be so blinded to what’s happening right before our very own eyes. You may be sad, angry, hurt and/ or defeated. We can’t allow these emotions to discourage us from living the life God gave us. Every set back can only make us stronger and more determined to fight harder. Don’t allow your mistakes to define who you are. Use those mistakes to grow and become stronger. Don’t allow yourself to be defeated. You have what it takes to succeed and live the life you are meant to live. All my Love & Support, Mom!!

  2. I have a copy of Michelle Obama’s book but I haven’t read it yet (it’s not something I ever thought I’d get/read, but I wanted to see for myself what all the fuss is about as it gets LOTS of positive reviews!) I have it feeling you might like it, though don’t quote me on that as I’ve still not got around to actually reading it yet. Have you?
I really, really do hope this week is a brighter one, Alyssa. Deep breath, you’ve got this!!  ♥

    • I am sorry for my delayed response, again. I do have a copy of Michelle Obama’s book, but like you still have not gotten around to even starting it. I have heard it was a great book, so I am looking forward to reading it. I do know Michelle’s father has MS.
I appreciate your kind words Caz and I also hope the week is better, but I do not have high hopes for that. It has been a crazy time and now that I do not have a job, my life just became a lot more stressful.
