Motivational Monday!

imagesGood morning y’all! I hope you had a nice weekend and you are as ready as ever for the new week. Last week was definitely not the best for me, but I am hopeful for this new week. I strongly believe that no matter what struggles we may go through in life, they all make us stronger.

Did y’all do anything fun this past weekend? I am happy to say that I rested up and did my best to not even leave the house. Sometimes in our lives we just need a few days of peace and quiet to recuperate from a long week. It is also helpful to  reflect back on what has or hasn’t  occurred in our life. Now when I say reflect back on things I do not mean dwell, I mean just think about what is troubling you and find the inner meanings. Now instead of just thinking about the negative aspects, think about something positive that came out of events in your life. 

OF course I think all quotes I share with y’all are special, but today’s quote is very meaningful and powerful in my eyes! weak-strong-intelligent

Of course my reasons for finding this quote so powerful may differ from yours, which is one reason I look forward to reading your thoughts! I also promise to respond as quickly as I can! 

To be completely honest with y’all, there have been times in my life that I wanted smiling-awesome-quotes-www-awesomequotes4u-com-is-the-best-way-to-face-22416393.pngrevenge when someone hurt me, but that was in my younger years and never really worth it. I do struggle with the forgiveness aspect, but in time I do forgive those that caused me pain. In my life today, I tend to do the best I can to just ignore things that bring me down. Sometimes ignoring things isn’t good either because it can allow things to fester in my mind. There ends up being a time I go from ignoring something to downright exploding with frustrations.

    • Thank you so much for reading and leaving this fantastic comment. I tend to forgive people, but some take a little longer. The thing that gets to me is when the same person makes the same mistake time and time again. Forgiveness is really more for the one doing the forgiving that the one being forgiven. I hope you had a lovely day and your week is great!

  4. I think it’s a good quote, up until the ignore bit… I mean yes, ignore the little things that don’t really affect you, but there are things that shouldn’t be ignored.
    Forgiveness is good – though it shouldn’t mean allowing the same person back to do it again 😊 but I am sure you know all this.

  6. I silently get on with things even though I can see the injustice but I think to myself: I am lucky enough to be here – alive and healthy so what can I complain about? Just like when you are child and you see that one of your siblings gets less chores than you… if you start an argument it’s not going to make you any better off! I loved this post ☺️

  7. Life can disappoint us and make us feel sad. I really believe our loved ones never mean to hurt us. We only want the best for one another. I’m sorry if I’ve hurt you or caused you pain ever. Never my intention. You are the most important person to me. Your happiness means the world to me and I will do anything to make that happen. I believe forgiveness is everything and it’s very difficult at times. Keeping that smile on your face is important and let the rest go. We need to keep things in perspective and know who has our back and who wants to stab us in the back. I will always be here for you and have your best interest in my heart.
