Happy Friday y’all! I hope you have had a good week and you are looking forward to the weekend! Y’all already know my week has been rather trying and stressful, leaving my pain level extremely high. Even though I have to work the weekend, I am trying to stay positive and hope it will not be too bad. Currently the weather report is saying it will be chilly and rainy all day Saturday. Hopefully everyone will be doing what I would prefer to be doing on a cold rainy day and stay at home where it is dry and warm!
Everyone typically looks forward to Friday because it is the end of the work week and they are looking forward to a weekend. When I do not have to work the weekend I also view Friday as the end of another long week, but Friday also means more! I now view Friday as the day to LET GO of anything and everything that occurred during the week that was negative and upsetting. This view has helped me so much because as we all already know, holding onto the frustrations and negative feelings doesn’t resolve anything and only makes things worse!
The quote I am sharing with y’all today is pretty powerful and I hope it will help you not only just today, but on any other day as well!
Thank you for stopping by my site today! I hope your day is filled with nothing but happiness and of course you are feeling well. I am looking forward to reading your thoughts about this quote and I promise to respond as quickly as I can. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of
love
, comfort, and many positive vibes!
Always, Alyssa
I would alter that phrase a bit to say “be strong enough to let go, smart enough to know what you deserve, and bold enough to go after it,” but that’s just me. 😉
Happy Friday, Alyssa! Stay positively you and have a great weekend!

I really like how you altered this phrase and I actually like your way better!!!
Thank you, I do hope for a good weekend. I stayed out of work today due to a massive migraine from hell. I hope it goes away before tomorrow! Have a wonderful weekend!!

I so admire your attitude of letting go on Friday. All the negativity, let is wash away with the rain.
In all seriousness, I think it’s a great way to not let it fester within you.
I do hope that even though the weekend will be crappy out, I hope you find time for yourself and relax. You really need that time for yourself. 💗

Thank you Beckie! Unfortunately my nasty migraine refused to go away so I stayed home today. My boss is not all that bright and has NO empathy for anyone. I think his heart is made of stone and really cold. The good thing about the weekend is, I won’t see that idiot until Monday!!!
I hope you had a nice Friday and were able to let go of any negativity that may have happened this week.

Migraine, aside… You get a three-day weekend from that jerk. I just hope you feel better really soon. 🥰

Thank You Beckie! I guess you are right, I do have a long weekend from dealing with him! Yesterday was my scheduled day off and I called out today, then he won’t be there until Monday!!!

I couldn’t agree more! Actually my migraine is very minimal today. Sadly, I will see the spawn of satan. Hopefully the nasty will not return!

I really hope he gets lost and doesn’t ever come back. Something at work today happened that scared the crap out of me. It seemed like my vision was distorted and so was my hearing. I was helping a resident sign his new lease online and not only thought I heard my jerk boss’s voice, but I thought I saw him in his office. I have no idea what was going on…..

OH… That’s not good at all. I hope like hell the jerk didn’t clone himself.

No it freaked me out so bad. I finally was telling my husband about and figured out the reason I am very sleep deprived. I didn’t sleep but two, maybe 3 hours of sleep.

Well, when were sleep-deprived, our eyes can definitely play tricks with us. Again… You either need to try and get out of there or see your doctor, maybe he could prescribe something for you to sleep easier and more.

I know how horrible being sleep-deprived can make you feel and I am trying to get better with it. Unfortunately, there are reasons why my doctor won’t give me anything and it is really a bunch of BS, but I am not going to argue with her.

I’m so sorry, Sweetie. Have you tried Melatonin?

Thank you Beckie! Well kind of. The first time I tried it, I was up all night long. I guess I had a weird reaction to it.

It’s an OTC vitamin supplement. It helps with sleeping, all natural.

Hmm, I wonder why my body decided to fight it!

Not sure. I take it with all my other meds to help me fall asleep. I don’t get a reaction. I guess it’s based on body chemistry.

Thank you Wendi! I ended up staying out of work today due to a really nasty migraine. My boss is so insensitive and heartless. The moron has no empathy for anyone! I am glad I don’t have to see him until Monday! I hope you had a nice day and you are feeling well!!

I hate to hear you had one of these nasty migraines earlier in the week. They are so miserable and have had me down and out since yesterday afternoon. This will sound mean, but I kind of hope he does get a migraine over the weekend!!!

It doesn’t sound mean at all, there are some people who cannot learn compassion until they experience it themselves. I hope this weekend goes smoothly and quickly for you!

I can truly let it go this weekend. The past week has been hectic with school work and auditions! The only task is to pack for camping next week which, once I have put some music on, will be a joy to complete.
Let it go – Alyssa! We have made it the end of another week x

You have had a crazy week! What auditions have you done? Camping sounds like it might be fun, I haven’t ever been though. Music is the key for everything. What kind of music do you like?

I was auditioning for a part in Beauty And The Beast! Luckily I got the part I wanted. I love Indie Rock music but I will always have a soft spot for Harry Styles. Have you heard his new song?

I loved Beauty and The Beast!!! What part did you get? Indie rock is great! Have you heard of The Pretty Reckless or The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus or The Radical Somethings? The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus was the band my husband proposed to me. We had kind of made friends with them when they played a small venue where we used to live! I do not think I have heard Harry Styles new song but I am going to check him out!

I’m a Narrator which is a pretty large part. I didn’t want to go for something too big because I know I wouldn’t be able to cope with that. Underground Indie Rock bands are the best because you get to interact with them and learn the meaning behind their songs. Have a good week and I hope you like Harry’s new song just as much as i do! xx

That sounds pretty incredible! Isn’t it funny how we can relate to so many different songs and they are having meaning to us?

girl you have done it again 🙂 Loved this post and your outlook on Friday being the day to just let go. It’s a nice way to remind ourselves to let anything holding us down, go. I hope work goes well for you and you feel better. I actually have a really good friend that I work with who has MS. She has her days of pain but she is so strong. Here at work we do a yearly donation lunch and raffle for MS. It’s been so great being a part of all of it. ❤

I am so glad you loved this post Kasey! Sometimes it is easy to feel down and out after a long week, so letting go of all that negative energy on Friday is healthy! I called out of work today due to a nasty migraine. My boss is not only an idiot, but has no empathy for anyone. How old is your friend with MS? Living with MS daily can be completely normal, but the bad days of pain are just horrible. That is amazing you do a yearly donation lunch for MS, it is so important because we NEED a cure! I hope you are doing well today and you have a lovely weekend!

Sorry you have a migrain those are never fun. She is 37 I think…. Lol 😂 somewhere close to that. Her Husband actually just got diagnosed with it too which is so crazy that she has it and now he does. We know it’s not contagious. But the chances of a spouse getting it is rare. Seeing her fight it over there years is hard but she just keeps on going. How long have you had it for?

That is so wild and you are right very rare. I have read that MS is in women more than men. Her and I are about the same age, I just turned 38. My goodness I am getting old! This migraine has had me down and out since yesterday afternoon. I just hope it is better tomorrow because I have to work. I have had MS for about 18 very long years.

Yeah her Husband has had some other medical issues these past few years. The think he either had MS and it caused the other medical issues to come about, or the medical issues triggered the MS. His is current;y messing with his eye site. I hope that stops soon. I will have to ask her how many years she has had it. But it seems close to about 18yrs. I know she was in her mid to late 20’s when she was diagnosed. Keep staying strong. You are amazing ❤

I hate your friend and her husband are dealing with so many medical issues. It isn’t easy, especially because they are both dealing with something. The way the doctors figured out I had MS was because of eye issues. I wish the best for both of them!!

Exactly what I needed to read after having some time off for a much needed break and returning back to the everyday life stresses. This is inspiring me to make my positive quotes stickers which will be added to my shop soon. AllheART is working on some very exciting things for next year. I love the quote with the sparkles, “Shine, Sparkle, Smile”. As I always say… you can never have too much glitter in your life.”
