Pick-Me-Up Thursday!

Tomorrow is FridayGood morning y’all! I hope your week has been great and you are feeling well! My week has felt rather long and I still have to work the weekend, however I did fight for my own wellness and refused to work 7 days in a row. Even though having a day off to rest will make it so I do not have 40 hours, I decided that my health is WAY more important than the hours I work! This is a HUGE success for me because I normally would put my health last in every situation. I realize that if I push myself too far, I could possibly miss even more hours due to the  chance of a relapse.

With it being Thursday and the weekend is near, I think a little pick-me-up quote could be very beneficial for all of us! For me, the quote I am sharing is both encouraging and motivating and I hope it is for you! 4_5

It isn’t always easy, but I do believe that our dreams can come true. Anything we want bad enough can become our reality, it just takes determination. Life isn’t even easy and can be very challenging, as long as we do not surrender to those challenges, anything is possible! I believe in each and every one of you because I know how strong y’all are!images (1)

Thank you so much for visiting my site today. Your continued support means so much to me and I appreciate y’all more than words can ever explain. I do look forward to reading your thoughts on the quote I have shared and I promise to respond as quickly as I can! I hope you have a wonderful Friday Eve and attempt to believe in yourself as much as I do. Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love ❤, comfort, and many positive vibes!

  1. Personally speaking, I think you should demand the weekend off because of your condition in the first place. Your mental stability along with your physical issues are taking a toll.
You need take that time and look for a new job.
I feel so badly that this job is pushing you to your limits, that’s not right. I thought this boss understood you had ailments from MS, because he too had a sister or some relative that did too.
((((Hugs)))) and much love & support, Alyssa. xoxo!

  2. 7 days in a row shouldn’t be allowed, and given your health it’s appalling really that you were asked to do it. Good for you on putting your foot down! Shame you’re still working the weekend though. Out of curiosity, how’s the new car going?
    Hang in there lovely  ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

    • I couldn’t agree more Caz, but these people have not common sense at all. I am glad I stood up for myself and refused to work 7 days in a row. I am now all that happy about working the weekend, but hopefully I will find something else soon! The new/used car is pretty great. I love sitting up higher because I am always shorter than everyone, even children. I hope you are doing well and you had a fantastic weekend!!

      • Exactly, this is just a stepping stone to a better suited job. Glad the new ride is still good! I’ve contemplated using a kid’s booster seat in my car because I’m too short 😂xx

  3. I’m so happy that you’re putting yourself first. Your health is definitely more important than any job. I don’t believe it’s legal to have any employee work 7 days in a row. You may want to check into that. Just take care of you and keep thinking what’s best for you. All my Love & Support, Mom!!
