Good morning y’all! I hope you had a wonderful and very relaxing weekend. I was so happy that I did not have to work and had no plans at all. I do firmly believe after working 40 hours and battling with heat, it is great be able to not rush around and of course sleep in or at least take a nap, while I very seldom do!
For some reason, I am a little shocked that we are already half-way through July. There is a HUGE part of me that is glad July will be over soon because that just means the nasty summer heat will be over too. Unfortunately, the summer heat will be around for another 3 or 4 months, but that will hopefully fly by like the rest of the year did!
I hope you used the weekend to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul you are now ready to tackle the week ahead of us! The quote I am sharing with y’all today really says something I have been trying to spread for a while now and I do hope you are able to see and feel the meaning these short words portray.

I’ll happily swap you, Alys. I want more summer. The UK at the moment is kind of muggy/heavy, but so grey, there’s just no sun. I love that quote, too. I’m with ya this heat and humidity is rough. I’m inside alot too, I’m usually outside in the morning early gardening /weeding😂when it’s slightly cooler. Thanks for all the good vibes your sending out!
