Motivational Monday!

great weekGood morning y’all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and you are ready to start this new week with pure determination! Last week wasn’t too awful for me, but one thing did happen on Friday afternoon that caused me to be very irritated. Even though the end of last week wasn’t all that great, I am planning to go into this week with positive thoughts and forgetting about the negative that occurred!

Can you believe, it’s almost May! I know I have mentioned this before, but time is just flying by WAY TOO FAST. I still do not know where the beginning of the year went, however I do plan to enjoy the rest of this year the best I can!

Let’s start this week off with a quote that I really love! I hope you will enjoy this and see the truth in the words as much as I do. someday

I was so excited that I found this because this is something I have always lived by. To get through the hard times in life, I remind myself continuously that everything in life happens for a reason. I always believed that nothing we go through in life is by accident, download but for a reason we may never know. Maybe things we experience teach us how to be more compassionate or learn how to be more patient, whatever the reasons may be they make us stronger and even better than we were before.

Thank you for starting your week off visiting my site. I always appreciate your support and love reading what you think about what I have shared. I hope I am able to bring positivity and encouragement  to your life through the words I write. I hope you have a great day and you are feeling well! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love❤, compassion and many positive vibes!

My signature heart

❤Always, Alyssa❤

  1. It is so interesting that you say everything happens for a feason Akyssa. It’s a hard thing to swallow sometimes. But it is true, I think. I was only thinking the other day about myself and my own experiences, terrible as they were and still are. I was wondering what it was all about. Why have I ended up like this? I can only say that in fact had I not had cancer, gone blind, landed up in a wheelchair etc. I would NEVER have learned so much. I would never have started a Blog. This has proved fruitful in so many ways, bthough sometimes I do feel it might not be worth it. When vuews etc go right down, as they do, I become despibdent. Because it is so hard for me to maintain a Blog as I am. But then right at that point when I am thinking of either deleting it or closing it down, someone will come along and say how my words have s
Oken to them. Then that makes it worthwhile. But there are so NANY things that have happened, that I can say with all honesty. i an GLAD I had cancer. I am GLAD I went blind (though I would LOVE my eyesight back.). So yes, things maybe DO happen for a feason. These are great words Altssa. Xx

    • First, I am sorry for my delayed response. I am still struggling to work full-time and do what I love. I must say, your comment brought tears to my eyes. Not out of pure sadness but more because you inspire me. You show me how even when things are difficult and even discouraging, life is still in front of us. I find your determination and strength more than incredible and you are pretty darn amazing. I don’t think anyone that reads your story and how you view life could ever get discouraged. You are the light Lorraine and I value you!!!

  2. I am very happy that the new week has started, though I only now have one week left until school starts again. I’m slightly irritated about how time has flown by, but time flies by when you’re having fun! I love the quote you shared that ends in ‘everything happens for a reason’. It’s very relatable, though we will never figure out life until we look back on it!
Monday is my favourite day of the week. In the morning I wake up really early so as to get a head-start (compared to everyone else in the country 😂😂) and also so I can meditate.
Sending you also lots of love,
    Erin

      • Do not stress about being ‘late’. If you don’t compare yourself to other blogger, you’ll realise that you are not late at all! Thank you for your kind words, it well help me push myself through the week 😊

      • Thank you so much! I always feel terrible about being late because typically I never am. Weeks just get so long and working causes much exhaustion. I am glad I was able to help push you through the week!!! I hope your weekend is great!

      • It is my pleasure, weeks vary from long to quick though they are all the same length 😂 It depends on what you are doing with your time. I hope blogging is not a pressure for you, and that you use it for your enjoyment 😊
        Have a great weekend too!

  3. Oh no, I’m sorry something crappy happened Friday, not a great way to be ending the week then. I love your enthusiasm to start this week with more positivity – I hope it continues onwards & upwards, Alys!  ♥

    • Things happen in life that are very disappointing and all we can do is push forward! This new job isn’t what I thought it was going to be and I am very disappointed. But then again, it’s just a job and nothing more. Things aren’t what they were supposed to be. I plan to stay working there, but only until something better comes along. The bad things about the company is there is NO organization and insurance is insanely expensive. I was not made aware of any of this. I will never let them discourage me too much though and that’s a promise! xxx

  4. Wonderful positive message! I also can not believe it is nearly May. Half of 2019 has nearly already been and gone!
    Have a great week.
