Motivational Monday!

great weekGood morning y’all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and you are feeling the best you can! Monday’s give us the opportunity to forget about anything and everything that didn’t go our way last week and start fresh again!  Do you have any new goals you want to accomplish this week? I actually do have a goal I really want to succeed with! This goal is to stress much less than I have been and just stay calm. In the past I would always stress myself way too much about work wanting to excel and grow. Thissparkle and shine monday got me absolutely nowhere, but headaches and anxiousness. My new way of thinking is I am going to get paid the same amount whether I stress or not and it just isn’t worth it to continue my stressful ways. Don’t get me wrong, I am still going to do my best at work, but I am not going to do extra by going above and beyond or working towards that promotion that would just be a stressful situation (let’s see how long this mindset sticks with me!)!

The quote I am going to share with y’all today is all about focusing on positive thoughts. I feel that thinking positive provides us with the best results. I think everything happens for a reason and when it is meant to and not any sooner! You aren’t able to force anything to occur because if it’s forced it probably won’t last or provide serenity. Thank y’all for stopping by my site today! Not only do I appreciate your continued monday catsupport, but also for being so understanding with my delayed responses most of the time. I am doing the best I can to keep up with reading/commenting on other blog, maintaining the materials for my own posts, working full-time and household things. I am sure I will get there in time, but I will not post anything without substance! 

I hope y’all have a great start to the week and it stays that way! Life gets busy and it is so easy to fall behind on things we enjoy, but we have to keep pushing! Never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love ❤, comfort and many positive vibes!

  1. Alyssa, if you find a way to stress less, some magic way to make it happen, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Major stresshead and even though I know it does no good, it’s like I’m set to ‘max stress’ on default.
    I hope this week goes well for you & that you succeed in your goal, even if it’s just taking things down a notch when you consciously remember to stay calm, just a little less stress would do you the world of good I’m sure 🙂

    • Caz, I am right there with you! I have been a massive stress case for many years, but I am trying. With work I refuse to do more than I am paid for, which isn’t much! Now that is just one part of stress for me, there are MANY MANY MANY other things I still stress about and I don’t know how to stop. I do know how much better I would feel if I didn’t stress about every little thing, but I have been this way my entire life.
      One step at a time and at least I will stick with what I shared about work stress!! Girl are so much a like, you are like the sister I never had!! Take care sweetie!!

  2. Great motivational quotes Alyssa – do what you feel comfortable with. I was a go-getter and it got me no further and I soon realized that the more you do, the more you are expected to do. It is nice to be reliable and the go-to person, but it adds to more stress.
