Good morning y’all! I hope you are doing well and your week has started off great. There is so much going on in this world that can break anyone’s heart. But what is going on here in the states in California is so tragic.
So many have already lost their homes and their personal possessions that just will never be able to be replaced. As of this moment at least 11 people have lost their lives which is so incredibly sad. Y’all already know this about me, I love animals and I am sure many of them have not only lost their homes, but their lives as well. This is a tragedy here on my own home soil and I wish there was something I could do for those going through this horrible event.
I don’t believe enough is being done for those fighting for their lives in California. I don’t appreciate what is being said about it being the fault of the government in California. They were doing the best they could and this massive fire wasn’t able to be avoided ,as fires are a life of their own. I think the best thing we can all do at this point is to send as many prayers and positive vibes to all those in the path of this fire. Everyone in California deserves LOTS of love and compassion right now.
Thank y’all for visiting my site this morning. I hope if you live in California, you are somewhere where you will be safe. Please know that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love , comfort, and positive vibes!
Always, Alyssa
Oh it’s just heart breaking. There was something on the news over here ‘re the animals and I couldn’t watch it. 😓. There was an actress on the news saying there were no fire fighters/trucks where she lives in Malibu, and her house burnt down. She was more worried about her photo album which she left, than being grateful herself and her family were safe. She seems to be blaming everyone even though she was told to evacuate the day before. No need to be playing the blame game in such devasting circumstances. I can’t bear to watch the news. Hope you’re feeling good today, and have a Great week. 😊

It is all just so sad and it is still going on. From what my husband just told me, the death count continues to rise. I wish there was something I could do for them. The news can be pretty horrible and what is being said by the president is just plain evil!
I hope you are doing well and feeling good!

So disrespectful to make this tragedy political. This is a time to come together.

I agree with you 150%!!! Everyone needs to join together in times like this and making it political is SO wrong!

you are right………there is just so much tragedy in this world that it is completely overwhelming. i gave up watching “regular” tv in January. it has helped me a lot……..i read a little on the internet but not much.

It really is best to not watch TV. All the news is very depressing and just awful. Honestly, I only halfway pay attention because this what my husband watches. All the news does when I do see it, is make me want to cry.

yes, I agree with you, it makes me wants to cry or hide in the house. so, for me, I can’t watch it. It’s been 11 months and it’s been great!

Wish we could send some of our rain their way. We’re getting sick of if

I know right! It has been raining for too long and isn’t stopping until Thursday evening. I would be happy to send all this rain to those in California!

It’s heartbreaking to see the devastation in California. Maybe people could reach out a helping hand instead of just blaming the government?? I think about the poor animals too – I have to remind myself that fire is a natural process of renewal for the earth. Although I’m not sure when they’re that out of control, that it’s natural anymore. Prayers that no more lives are lost. 💕

It is so heartbreaking to hear about. Last I heard even more people have lost their lives. I am on the other side of the country, but I do wish I could help. The firefighters are truly amazing and heros for all they are doing. I do hope and pray more people do not tragically lose their lives.

Thanks so much for your post and kind words. I live in Thousand Oaks, CA. We’re trying to process the mass shooting and devastating fires. My family is safe, and so is our home. Grateful.

You are more than welcome! I am so glad you, your family and home are safe and truly hope things stay like that for you! I honestly do not know California all that well, but I hope you are far away from the fire! It is so sad all that has happened and please know I am sending you LOTS of good vibes, but wish I could do more!

Honestly, I/we appreciate all of your good vibes! It means a lot. The fire is being contained, and we don’t have immediate threat anymore. But now the funerals are starting, tonight, for the shooting victims. Thanks for your kind comment and good thoughts! xx

I am so glad the fire is contained and you aren’t in any immediate danger. It really is horrible about the massive shootings that continue to occur and the fire destruction. Do your best to keep your chin up and remain your beautiful and optimistic self. I will continue sending y’all many positive vibes!

It’s incredibly sad, so sad! The pictures on tv I know doesn’t do justice for what it must be like out there! Praying for all the families affected.🙏🏽

Yes, the images are terribly sad and haunting. I do wish I could do something for them, but I guess all I can do is keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

Maybe the Red Cross is accepting donations? Not sure, haven’t heard anything.
Yes, definitely, we must continue to pray for all the families that have been affected.

It would be nice if the Red Cross was doing something for them, but I haven’t heard anything. Unfortunately, I don’t even think I could afford to donate to them right now in life. Most I can do is keep the families in my thoughts and send them many prayers.

I wouldn’t be able to, monetarily wise either. But maybe donations in form of clothing, etc.

I could definitely do clothing, but I am not sure how easy it would be getting donations to California. I just really wish there was something more that could be done. It is such a tragedy.

Yes. I think the outlets should be putting more information on how to help. I haven’t heard anything. I know many people are in shelters in schools and such places but that’s all about I know.

I agree with you! There needs to be more communication on how people can donate to help, but it seems the media prefers to just share the negatives!

My heart breaks with yours. I’m down in San Diego, we are safe and sound down here, but it’s feels so close to home.
When a fire spreads at 80 football fields a minute there’s just nothing that can be done about something that freak. We are so dry because of climate change and it’s having devastating affects. We can blame this or that or the other thing but the fact is we need way more rain. When I was a young girl rivers and streams were full and healthy throughout the state and now there are beds filled with nothing but rocks. It’s really heartbreaking. This has been truly devastating on so many levels. I’m really hoping the funds are released quickly and swiftly so that the survivors can begin to heal.

I am really glad you are safe and sound and really hope it stays that way.
It is horribly how fast the fire spread and how much damage it did. I hope y’all get LOTS of rain soon and necessary funding. It is horrible that there is a lack of funding in California. My thoughts are with y’all and I sincerely wish there was something I could do. Lots of love to you!

9-1, baby! Every game lately is a battle to the end, and we face arguably the best team in football on Monday night, but we’re fun to watch. If our defense starts playing to their potential down the stretch … watch out!

Very sad as California is my home state and it’s horrible to know so many have lost lives and homes. Firefighters are dear to me as my father used to be one and it’s a selfless service and sacrifice. I hope you are doing well and I’ll be closing this account and find you through my other one. See you soon.
