Good afternoon y’all! I hope your weekend is going well and you are feeling great! I think y’all already know it hasn’t been easy for me working a full-time job, doing all the things women do daily and finding proper time to blog. It isn’t possible for me to do posts daily because by the time I get out of work and home, I am exhausted and probably can’t put together a coherent sentence!
I am currently still able to do my Motivational Monday and Pick-Me-Up Thursday posts, but I really want to find time for more. I do find that blogging helps keep my stress-levels to a normal point or at least slightly healthier. It is an amazing feeling to be able to get what I am thinking out, without any interruptions or feeling like I am bothering someone by venting. Y’all at least have the option to not read what I write, but of course I appreciate that you do!!
It has been about a month and a half since my husband and I moved and I started a new job. I can say without any hesitation at all that my new job is great and worlds better than where I came from! The people I work with sincerely care about what they are doing to help others in the community, which is one huge reason why my personality is a great fit for this job! The new city is beautiful as well and so much better than where we moved from! Of course my drive into work is very short, which is another great thing! Even the stores I have been to seem more enjoyable! Overall, I can say that this move we made together was a great decision! I guess sometimes we just need throw our hands up to fate and take a chance with a new journey, it really can create wonderful things that can bring lots of happiness that was missing previously!
I hope you enjoy your last weekend day to the fullest and do what brings you the most happiness! Please remember, I am always sending y’all LOTS of love, comfort and many positive vibes!
Always, Alyssa

It’s about a fifteen-year-old girl who’s been dealing with mysterious fatigue since her twin brother was injured. There’s an odd connection between his injury and her fatigue that we don’t find out until later. The book deals with dreams, relationships, soul connections, and the nature of reality. It’s called The Enervation of Eve, and I’m excited to be writing it! Yay!!

When you have a job that includes a positive workforce it makes the world of difference. I’ve been there and it’s nice. Happy to see you’ve found it too.

Thank you so much! I really didn’t like my previous job and found the people very negative, which made going to work difficult. I was only working part-time hours there and it was painfully hard! This job I have now is absolutely amazing and the people are incredible. Liking my job and the people make working full-time a lot easier! I hope your weekend has been great and I hope you are feeling well!!

Lovely post! You move sounds as if it has been beneficial and happy move. I think you need to try as much as possible in life or your left with haunted voice in your head asking ‘What if?’ I would rather try and if it wasn’t correct path at least I can say I tried.
Blogging is very satisfying, I feel I can really let all out and it’s so therapeutic. I too have recently started new job so I don’t manage to post daily yet it is on my goal list for new year.

Thank you so much! I am very delighted that the move has been so great! I questioned it while we were moving, but I am so glad it was a good decision!
Blogging is definitely satisfying and the people I have been able to get to know has been one of the best experiences of my life! It is hard to blog daily while working everyday, but I do want to try to at least do it every other day! How do you like your new job? It is great to have goals to work towards and always wonderful to achieve them!! So many people have told me that blogging can be stressful and I shouldn’t do it . I do not find it stressful, but it actually reduces my stress! I hope your weekend has been relaxing!! xx

Some times it’s good to take the jump into big decisions as at least we have stepped out our comfort zone& get a pleasant surprise from it.
I have found goal setting very satisfying this year as I am getting more done, even just things like getting through the to do list in the house. If I don’t achieve this I look at why it hasn’t worked and try a new approach and I achieve. It makes me feel a lot more at ease in life.
It’s still all new and not many followers yet, but I’m getting myself reading a few regular at moment and commenting& slowly getting to see so many lovely posts. I am looking forward to watching it grow. I enjoy writing& reflecting plus so many silly but funny things happen to me so it’s nice to share and let’s me get a rant out. A few friends have been saying I should do a blog.
This week I am getting myself a structure/order of blogs to assist with consistency.
Thank you, my new job role is fantastic but sadly the home has went into administration so it’s being closed down possibly, I am now looking for another care home activity coordinator as it’s such a rewarding position. What is it you do? I am glad you find blogging destressful. I am enjoying them very much.
💖😍xx

Oh absolutely goal setting can be very rewarding! It does give us the opportunity to look at things different and try new approaches!
The best way to obtain more followers is read other’s blogs and make comments. It allows you to get to know others and in turn get a bigger following. I had to take a step back from doing too many comments because of working full-time, but I still enjoy meeting new people.
I had originally started mine in July 2017 basing things around MS, but then me other people with different chronic conditions. Blogging has given me perspective and lots of knowledge.
Like yourself, I enjoy writing. Writing gives me an outlet from the stress life can add. I have LOVED writing since I was a child and still have not lost the passion.
I hope you are able to find another job that you enjoy. I am sure you will find something similar! Activity coordinator sounds very interesting! My husband and I just relocated and I am so happy with where I ended up with a job. I am an administrative assistant to a VP in Finance for Habitat for Humanity. I didn’t care for my last job at all, so this is great!!

Awesome blog! I’m so happy that you both are finding that this decision was the best for you guys. It’s scary sometimes to make a significant change in our lives but as you said taking a risk can really be a great thing. It’s a whole new journey for you both and hopefully you will just embrace it and give it your all. Change is a good thing and I’m just so thankful that you’re happy and things are working out. Try hanging in there and not stressing yourself over not doing as much with your blog. As time goes by and you feel more settled with your life and you acclimate to the job and the full time hours, you will figure out just how much time you can invest in your blog. You also need to have time for you in the midst of your very busy life. I know you’ll figure it all out but try not stressing yourself in the meantime. All my Love & Support, Mom💜💜

Thank you so much! Sometimes there is a reward to the risks we take. It’s always just a leap of faith and honestly, it is all working out beautifully! I am actually a lot less stressed than I have been. I look at things and if there is something I can do to change the outcome, I will. But I am logical enough to not worry about things I have no control over and just let things go!

I absolutely LOVE your new backdrop. It is beautiful. If only it were Autumn in Australia. I do miss the purple butterflies though. I feel like they’re missing on your page. Love the quote too. I am so glad that you feel less stressed writing. that is your way of de-stressing I guess and like I mentioned in my blog post it’s different for everyone. For me writing makes me more stressed as I’m often so tired I can’t even string a sentence together but for you keep doing what you’re doing cause I can’t write like you do.

I am glad you like the new backdrop! I figured because it is autumn in the states, I should have more fall like pictures. I promise the butterflies will return!! I am so sorry to read that writing causes you more stress. Is there anything that does help you to destress?

AT this point in time. NO. Not really. As much as I try it never works. There’s always something to worry about. Writing is just not my thing. I do love the Autumn leaves though. So bright and colourful.

I am so sorry that nothing seems to be working for your stress. Have you ever tried crocheting or something similar?

No. But I do paint. My hands get very stiff and painful.

You could block off short times to paint, like 10 minutes and see how you feel. Just do things gradually and take your time.

Thank you. Sometimes it takes me months just to finish of one painting.

“I guess sometimes we just need throw our hands up to fate and take a chance with a new journey” Love this! I’ve actually been playing around with surrendering to life myself. I just read the book “The Surrender Experiment” and it helped so much. Sometimes my best laid plans just don’t work and going with the flow of life does! Glad it’s working out for you.
And girl! There are never enough hours in the day haha! I’m lucky if I write a blog twice a month let alone twice a week! 😜

Thank you so much for reading and your great comment! The book you read sounds like a pretty amazing one! I might have to check it out. I do think sometimes when life seems to be going downhill fast, the only thing we can do is throw our hands up in the air and surrender to fate!
