Pick-Me-Up Thursday!

friday eve 2Good morning y’all! I hope you have had a wonderful week and you have adjusted to the time change. It’s kind of funny, I have adjusted rather well, but my cats still haven’t. They want me to be awake and give them food an hour too soon, but I am sure they will get with the time change sooner or late! 

I am so excited that it is finally my favorite time of year! I love ❤ seeing the leaves change colors and the temperatures are always so comforting. It isn’t too hot and normally not too cold. I get to wear boots and sweaters again, which I absolutely ❤ LOVE ❤! fall

I am sorry that I missed Monday because I was feeling so awful, but I am finally feeling much better. I want to thank y’all for your kind get well messages, they really did help me feel better and get rid of the nasty stomach virus I was dealing with. Y’all are always so caring!

Now that the week is almost over and the weekend is near, I think we could all use just a little pick-me-up to get through one last day! I hope you enjoy the quote I am going to share and I hope you find LOTS of meaning to it because I know I did!

I hope y’all have a wonderful day and I am really looking forward to reading what you think of this quote. I feel that there is so much we can gain in the life we were given, but we should never lose ourselves or our beliefs in the process. Everyone is entitled to believe whatever they choose, but it is also so important to keep an open mind and NEVER judge another for how they are living their lives. As long as how another is living isn’t causing others harm and they are happy, there is absolutely NO reason for change! Please remember that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love ❤ and comfort!

  7. Aww! This was such a lovely quote. I usually end up reading this on a Friday morning which really boosts me for the day ahead 🙂 I have adjusted to the time change, and like how it is getting a bit lighter at 7:00am. The darkness in the evening however makes me feel a lot more tired than in summer. Another excuse to cosy up!

    • I am glad you enjoyed the quote! Honestly I am so behind with reading and commenting on other’s posts, but I am trying to get better. The full-time work thing has been trying, but I am going to make it all work! I do like that it is lighter on my way into work and getting dark earlier definitely helps me get ready to cosy up for bedtime! I hope you have a great weekend!!

  8. I am so glad to hear you are feeling better and have finally managed to get rid of that awful stomach bug. So what time is it for you now? it’s 6:35 on Friday where I am. I love the picture of the Autumn leaf with the heart in the centre. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons because of all the bright colours and it’s not too hot. I really wish it was going into the cooler weather where I live. Oh and I like the quote too. I love how it rhymes. I agree with every word. Wisdom is much better than silver or gold. Hope you haev a restful weekend.

    • Thank you so much! Thankfully the nasty stomach thing cleared up and left me so fatigue. I am not sure if the massive fatigue is from being sick or the weather. I often blame the weather for anything and everything that goes wrong!
      I am trying to figure out how to write more, while working full-time, It is challenging, but I will get it figured out!
