Pick-Me-Up Thursday!

friday eve 2Good morning Y’all! I hope you had a nice week and you are looking forward to the weekend! I can tell you I am really looking forward to the first weekend that I do not have anything that has to be done and I can just relax in the new house. It will be nice to not have to work a 6th day as that has been so far beyond exhausting.

I am still adjusting to the new full-time job, but I am also really enjoying my new job. It has been a while since I had to work full-time and thankfully the people I work with are really great and I am red dotlearning so much. It is nice to work for a company that actually cares about others and does it’s best to help those that are struggling. I learn more daily about how much my position is involved with the community, which is giving me a great opportunity to use my compassionate side to assist families with their new homes affordably. 

Even though I do enjoy what I am doing now, I am still extremely fatigued and a little push to get through one last day of the week will be so helpful. I assume a little pick-me-up would be beneficial for y’all as well. This quote I am sharing with y’all today means so much to me as I am adjusting to the new ways of life and I hope it will resonate with you as well. Stress has always been a difficult thing for me to control, but I do feel like I am handling things much better now days. Slowly, I am trying to figure out how to add blogging back into my weeks again while working a full-time job. I do feel because of my pure determination and real true love for writing I will get there, but maybe not as much as I was doing before. I just need to get use to things a little more and I will be back to actually participating. I honestly do miss quote-1-fear.jpgbeing able to read your amazing posts and comment like I did a few weeks ago. The interactions have always been fabulous. I also miss being able to come up with great topics to write about and read your thoughts! Things just take time and learning a new routine, but things will get easier.

  2. I’m so glad you’re enjoying your new job so much Alyssa! I’m sure you’ll get things figured out with a blogging schedule once things settle down a little, but right now you’re dealing with a lot of “new” so you have to put your energies where they’re needed most. Take good care of yourself! Hugs!

  7. So brilliant to hear you’re loving the new job, but of course you’re fatigued. I think you’re doing amazingly well, so take the weekend and enjoy not having a heap of things to do, relax in the new house, pat yourself on the back for being awesome and take some time to catch your breath! 🙂

    • Thank you so much Caz! The new job and my co-workers are great, which definitely makes going to work easier! I also do like where we are living now. The new city is smaller than where we were living, so that is great! This weekend is going to be spent relaxing and recharging because the past few weeks have been SO busy!! I always appreciate and truly value all you say Caz! I hope you are doing well and I hope you have a great weekend!!

  8. I love how you call Thursday Friday eve. You are so positive and I love all of the quotes you’ve shared this week. Exactly what I needed with the launch of my new website, FB and Twitter page. As long as you don’t quit. Or in other words give up. There are many times when I feel like this and your blog post today reaffirmed to me that no matter how difficult things are for me at the moment I mustn’t QUIT! That is so good that your new employers are caring and understanding and that they support you. If only all employers could be like that. Have a relaxing weekend!
