Motivational Monday!

Monday to shineGood morning y’all! I hope you had a nice weekend! As y’all already know, where I live dealt with Hurricane Florence’s aftermath. Thankfully, my husband and I do not live too close to the coast, so we just had LOTS of rain and strong winds. Things definitely could have been much worse than they were for those living inland.

Considering my weekend was spent safely in my house worrying about the insane weather, I definitely need a little motivation to start my week off on a positive note. I think starting the week off with positivity makes for a far better week. I hope you enjoy this quote and I am really looking forward to reading your comments, which I will respond to as quickly as I can! difficulties

I hope you have a fantastic day and a lovely week! I actually have several reasons why this is going to be a GREAT week! Friday is my last day at my current job before my husband and I move away from the city we started our journey together! I will be starting a new job on September 28th and I think it is going to be a fabulous job and really perfect for me! Moving and starting a new job is both exciting and nerve-wrecking, but everything happens for a reason and change can be a wonderful thing! Please never forget that I am always sending y’all LOTS of love ❤ and comfort!

My signature heart

❤Always, Alyssa❤

    • Thank you so much Heidi. I think I am being a little too ambitious right now. I packed a lot over the weekend and my goodness I am feeling it today. I just look at things like they have to be done and we have to move! I am so excited about the new job, I think it will be much better than where I am at currently!

  1. Nice quote!

Difficulties are a part of life; that’s how we grow, and how we know what not to do! This is world, we shall trouble; but God… Has already overcome! Congratulations on the new adventure; safe journeys, and best wishes for the new job! Have a blessed week!

  2. So glad to hear you are safe? Where are you moving to now? Good luck with the move and with starting your new job! At least you will be able to get away from the supervisor who was causing you so much grief. Any tips as to how to explain your condition to new employers? I know how stressful changing jobs is. All the best. Absolutely love your new purple butterfly background btw. Where did you get the theme from or how did you change it? Also love the quote but I liked your old graphic better in the top section as this one’s a little bit blurry.

    • Thank you! We are moving from North Carolina to South Carolina, so not big deal! I am so excited to get far away from where I am not, it is way too negative!! I am glad you like the purple butterflies and thank you for letting me know the header was blurry. I just changed it again, so please let me know what you think.
I just found the imagines on google. It was pretty easy. You just go to customize to change things and it isn’t difficult, I promise!

      • I am trying to go easy, but I am always a ball of stress. Now my mother is upset that I am moving 2 hours away. I told her it isn’t that big of deal as we will see each other just the same! I think this is a great move for both myself and my husband!!!

      • Pack up one room at a time. Then if you are anything like me, you won’t get distracted and even more stressed if you wonder off!. And write lists of all the rooms, cabinets, wardrobes, dressers etc you need to pack up, and tick off the list as you go along. Worked for me years ago, and before MS days when my memory was good!. Haha! And make sure you leave a box with all the bits you will need for your first day/night. Toiletries, milk, tea, coffee, snacks, bread etc. And a box for a couple of towels and bed linen ready. Take your breaks and don’t forget to keep hydrated and eat also!. Oh your lovely mum. 2 hrs isn’t far, but I guess it’s a huge change for her also. Thinking of you!.

      • Thank you so much! I have been trying to do one room at a time. I do have a to do list that I am trying to follow! I have even labeled each box so far and it makes sense to me! I think we will take loads of clothes down this weekend, to make things even easier! You are so right!!! 2 hours isn’t that far and we do not see each other a lot anyways. I work during the week and she works weekends, so I guess I do not understand why this is such a change for her! I appreciate your kind words!!
