Motivational Monday!

Monday to shineGood morning y’all! I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing weekend! Even though I said I would not do this, I spent most of my weekend thinking about what my MRI results are going to show! It is so incredibly frustrating being forced to wait until Thursday afternoon to know what they are going to tell me. All I could think about is why are the results blocked online and are there new lesions and is my Multiple Sclerosis progressing? The wait is kind of like torture! But I guess they are what they are and there is not anything I can do to change them now, so what is the point thinking so much about them? 

Y’all know that I think we all need a little positive and uplifting motivation to start a new  week. I hope y’all find as much meaning to the quote I am going to share with you as I do and I look forward to reading your comments.our greatest weakness

  9. I’m hoping your results are still being processed and that’s why they’re blocked…? I’m not sure! But please stay strong!! Thursday will be here soon! Much peace and positivity for you today!!

    • That is a better way to view the blocking situation! My mind has gone in way too many different directions and none of them are at all positive! I know Thursday will be here soon and I will know what was seen, I just hate waiting! Thank you for your kind and uplifting thoughts!

  10. Happy Monday Alyssa! Hopefully you’ll be able to focus on other things since you’ll be at work over these next few days. Waiting on test results can definitely be frustrating, but I think sometimes the doctors just want to be able to discuss them with you to make sure you know exactly what you’re looking at. I love your quote today – thanks for sharing some words of wisdom to get our week off to a great start. Hugs!

    • Thank you Terri! I hope your Monday is going well and you are feeling great! I am trying to keep my focus on anything but the dreaded results!

  16. Oh my— waiting for test results in stinkerz!! I’m sorry for that. Try to stay busy and continue thinking only positive. You are in my thoughts Alyssa!! Waiting is the hardest part sometimes.

    And FYI— I love the quote!! It really speaks to me right now.

  17. Eugh, waiting can be so tough. I feel for you, but I have hope that the results are the best they can be and whatever happens I know you can and will deal with it, you’ve got this. I hope the week is kind to you and I’ll be thinking about you Thursday afternoon…

    • Thank you Caz! I have started changing my thought process. If the MRI is the same as the one from October, you know the one the doctor said was the “worse” she had ever seen, that is fine at least it isn’t any worse!! I really appreciate your kind and supportive words Caz!
