      • BIG HUGS back! Yes, I’m learning to go slow which is hard. I went down basement stairs for the first time in two years but it took over 17 hours to recover as my head felt strange and horrible pressure. I forget I need TLC. 🤗

  1. Happy Monday. That is a great quote. It is the hard times that makes us appreciate the happy ones. It is the hard times that also define us. How we react to adversity, is what makes us who we are.

Have a great week Alyssa. Keep spreading your positive vibes. We need more people like you in this world.

  2. Happy that your fall was not serious. Not happy about your migraines, etc. But very happy with your quote. Yes, hard times do make us. Without them, We’d have no barometer with which to judge good times, good people, good feelings? Thank you for this.

    • Thank you Barbara! This was honestly the first time I have ever fallen, so it was a little upsetting. I think I was actually trying to sit down, because I was feeling dizzy and felt nauseous. It was very strange!! After my little fall, I was so hot and sweating profusely! I think I scared my husband terribly!

    • I did let her know, but all they can say is we have to wait for the MRI. The MRI is scheduled for Friday, so I have to wait forever or at least that is how it feels. My doctor doesn’t really seem to care which is unfortunate. She will not be my doctor much longer!!!!

  3. I hope you are doing ok?. So sorry to hear of your fall. I know you’re a fighter, but please don’t push yourself too hard. Our bodies tell us when we are overdoing it. Don’t want to nag, just a concerned friend!. Take care. Hope its pain free days soon!.

    • Oh goodness I didn’t not think you were being a nag! In fact, I know you are right. The funny thing is this happened when I had been home resting because I felt kind of yucky. I went to show my husband something on my tablet and started feeling nauseous. I was just attempting to get up to go to the restroom and felt shaky. Things didn’t work out that way and instead of sitting on the bed, I went BAM to the floor on my rear end. It was crazy! Since then I noticed if I do not hold the railing going up and down the stairs I get off balance. I have not fallen down the stairs though. Thank you SO much for your concern!
