Motivational Monday!

Monday to shineGood morning y’all! I hope you had a wonderful week and you are ready for a brand new week full of nothing but pure happiness! Monday mornings are never my favorite, but changing my thoughts about what Monday can stand for has help! I no longer view the mean alarm clock that goes off at 5:15 am as my enemy, but now I try to view that horribly annoying alarm clock as my trigger to start a new day! On Monday morning we can let go of everything that happened last week, whether good or bad and start fresh! Everything that happened last week is the past and we can not change the past, but we can alter our present time!

Even thinking positive about Monday morning, I think we all always need a little motivation as a jump-start to the week! I hope you enjoy the quote that I am sharing with you and find as much meaning in it as I do!

I want to thank you for stopping by my site on this beautiful Monday morning! I am looking forward to reading your thoughts on the quote that I have shared!! I also wanted to ask y’all if you would want to see motivational quotes more than once a week. I was thinking about doing Motivational Monday and maybe Thursday as well. I do not want to do anything with Wednesday because fellow blogger does this and she is AMAZING! Speaking of which if you have not already seen Mackenzie’s site, you should visit her site! She is amazing and has the strength of a true warrior. Mackenzie’s site is https://lifewithanillness.com/ As always please remember I am sending y’all LOTS of love❤ and comfort!

  1. It is Monday because someone invented the calendar…take away the calendar and the only difference between today and any other day is how you live the day and the challenges the day brings… 🙂

    • You are too kind! I am glad that you think I motivate y’all every day! I just see how much people like the motivational quotes I share on Monday mornings and thought maybe I should do more of them. What do you think?

Oh I have a question for you as well! Do you know anything about freelance writing? I have been thinking about it A LOT lately but have no idea how to get into it!

      • Seriously, you always inspire and motivate, but with that said, I think it is a great idea. Towards, the end of the week, people are stressed from the early week crap. A little Alyssa-pick-me-up would do us all well.

Freelance writing. Fiction or non-fiction? I have a little knowledge.

      • Thank you SO much! I was thinking of doing Thursday motivation or Thursday pick-me-up is even better! You are right, towards the end of the week most people are stressed from earlier week crap and need a little something to pick them up! Thank you for the great advice for Thursday! See I can always count on you for something great!

I appreciate your honesty about having little knowledge about freelance writing! This is definitely one of the reasons I have so much respect for you! You are always honest and not BS the way to an answer!

      • The freelance writing could lead to money, but it is A LOT OF WORK. And in the beginning I don’t think you will make much. Looking forward to Thursday. Yeah, I don’t like to BS anybody. Best of luck.

      • Thank you so much for your great advice! The only reason I thought about freelance writing is because I have a deep passion for writing and I am so tired of working in an office setting! We will see what the future holds!
I hope you will like the new Thursday post!!!

      • It takes a while to build contacts and things like that. There are a lot of great books out there on the subject. It would provide you the freedom to write when you are feeling well. And frees you from a desk job.
        So think about it.

      • I will have to look into the books and hope for the best! I think it would be great to write about things I want to write about and even better work in my own home. Thank you again for your great advice!

  2. Your Monday blog is something I look forward to all weekend. It’s so uplifting for me because it starts the new week on the right foot. It’s so refreshing to put behind a week of things you just want to forget and know there’s a fresh start ahead. Thank you. I also love the quote. Life is about creating things and what better than who we are. We all have another chance to become who we are put here to be. That’s a breath of fresh air knowing we can always try and be better. Your blog helps me to always strive for more and never give up. All my Love & Support, Mom💜

  3. Happy Monday!
You totally stole my quote from my Happy Monday! post. I too believe Mondays mark the start of a a new week and the opportunity for a fresh start where you can forget the happenings of the previous week. Monday is just the same as any other day really, except for the weekends where there is no work if you work in a Monday-Friday job.
Love your Motivational Monday posts as reading the positive quoteslift up my spirits.
